That episode was bloody hysterical, even more so looking back. I also happily await the next Doctor, but I just hope they don't do so many short stories like the previous stories. The 11th was good, but he and the 10th suffered heavily from so many short stories that only covered a single episode. Nightmare in Silver for example, was a big fucking deal with the Cybermen apparently being upgraded to such serious business that the only way to fight them is to blow up any planet they land on or even ultimately detonate a whole galaxy.

Woops nope, that's completely forgotten.

Well... due to the weather, and my uncle just getting out of the hospital, it looks like Turkey Day will just be me, Cer and Morgan. Bummer... we bought a ton of food. We'll end up cooking more on Saturday and bringing it to OH and celebrate T-Day with them on that day.

We're still on for the location um, relocation on Sunday. Cer posted here: viewtopic.php?p=17582088#p17582088 concerning the move. There isn't an airstrip on the island. I think someone suggested using their nation's planes to get us over there. Cer came up with a cruise ship, which means we'll have some time to actually RP a cruise as we go. I don't know what he has in store for us, but knowing him, it'll be something fun.

The Island is pretty much the same as when we were last there. I added a bit of description on the OOC's first page. Reminder to our newer players: we ALL go. We basically close the city location down, plus it'll serve as a backdrop for a mission during the Christmas holidays. Tipper and Volt will be out of the city as well, but working on a long-delayed character dev story.

Some basic things about the Island:

• Yep, there are still native people's there. The Co-OPs chatted a bit about it, and a secondary (unseen) tribe is also present. Killing natives is a Bad Thing.
• The cove is still there (where Bran's characters somehow became Mer).
• Swith's compound is still on the atoll with a narrow footpath through the lagoon. I've made some changes to it that won't affect our setting at all (mostly dealing with the deep hole in the middle of the compound. Pookie will be back.
• All the huts are still along the beach. You guys can pimp them out however you want.
• The large pavilion where Bran and Rylli married, and where we held our Christmas feast is still there. Swith (if still alive) will throw another Christmas dinner... characters are welcomed to join in helping. We don't RP the cooking part. We just call the group together and everyone tucks in and enjoys the feast.
• Entertainment this year (please remember, it serves as a BACKDROP) might be some volunteers from our character pool? How about some beautiful violin music after the meal? Or maybe we could have everyone go down to the beach for a campfire? Holiday carols?
• I'd like to see a Zalgo New Year. *evil laugh* We'll see. Bones is on holiday break until later this weekend, so I haven't run it past him yet.
• Yes, we'll do a present exchange again this year.
• Tilt is running his event while we're there. We'll coordinate the Bane/Ruins event with him. There's going to be plenty to do for everyone over the holidays, so please keep that in mind.

Out of bounds stuff (unless players ask permission): the Volcano base belongs to NVE. The Templar compound belongs to GT. The Chaos compound belongs to Swith. The Bones & Co bunker belongs to Bones. ASK before going to these places if they're still player-owned.

The Monfrox compound is ruins... no tech or weapons remain. I thought I'd leave it in case Torsi wanted his character to revisit it to muddle through some painful memories.

And yes, I (or, well, my character) added that string could be pulled to secure transport. Not planes, but VTOL style choppers like the ones in Yüktograd (Branriech/Confederacy/Ukraine). A cruise ship sounds cool, too.

And I was wondering about those natives! Will they still be up to worshiping evil gods and attacking players in packs?
