"Good."

Bran still didn't want to know what would happen if they disappeared, but he assumed it just meant death. The observatory would be pretty cool. It'd give him a chance to see it in real life (Questionable) rather than the few times his characters had been up there, or that he'd read about it in the IC when others brought it up. "I could go with you then?" He offered. Enough people would probably go to the Fish-Market, so Bran thought it'd be alright to go with to the observatory, unless someone told him elsewise.

Neste arched a delicate eyebrow. Mention of the Velocidoctor had cinched it for her. Mr. M was somehow related to the Raptors. It was the only logical explanation given the information he was inadvertently imparting. She was a living machine, a sapient computer capable of abstract thought, if PXM recalled, and her internal processes were quickly assimilating her environment and piecing it together to form a complete picture.

"I hope you haven't come all this way to get back that book," she smiled demurely, "Because that's sitting in my carpet bag back at the jeep." She entered the dining room and looked at the odd assortment of humans assembled within.

Neste was a short human, although not nearly as short as her creator. She had long auburn hair loosely piled on her head. Wide, golden eyes were framed by long eyelashes and peered out from a pale and somewhat angular face. She might have been Greek or perhaps Roman, fine boned and graceful. Her demeanor was very proper and typical of a polite servant rather than an ambassador. She wore loose pants and tunic and had wrapped a dark shawl about her shoulders. A series of numbers was tattooed in golden lettering on her collar bone and back: NST 3v1.

"Hello," she politely bowed her head in typical Swithwardian fashion. "I am Nes-"

"-tee Trilb," Trice nearly pissed herself in excitement. "Ohmygodohmygodohmygod! PMX, you're fucking brilliant! How did you get her here?"

Trice trampled Ren's toes and nearly tripped over Min in an effort to get across the dining room. "Don't touch her! She's probably shielding herself but they have a nasty fail safe built in. She doesn't belong here. She's outside of PL but do you know what this means? It means we have a way to captain by proxy! She's a Sequencer and an Ambassador."

Neste, for her part, adopted an immediate distrust of Trice. No official announcement had been made regarding her appointment. Not even Ambassador Sage was aware of it, yet here was a total stranger blathering about her personal business to a room of strangers. She eyed the rest suspiciously.

"How? I don't know, maybe I pulled a Bill & Ted? I was asleep. But I do have an idea of using time travel." PXM replied to Trice, still not sure how it happened. "You need that book more than I do, to me it is just blank pages because I haven't written it yet. And I'm not Velocidoctor, we are the powers that be." He said to Neste vaguely and blatantly at the same time.

"Now, what is the plan? And is there any coffee left?" He asked the group, taking the asprin bottle from his pocket and pouring some into his hand.

Brit sighed as he finished his eggs and went to wash out the bowl and pan with the silverware. He got a towel out and put them on it on the counter to dry. "Well, not much else to do. I don't think I'll be going along so I'm gonna go...take a nap I guess." He said to the others as he somewhat forced a smile as he turned and walked off for the lobby. He held his head down low like he always did as he made for the stairs. At least Captain Thompson's bed was comfy. He hoped she didn't mind him using it. He started to murmur a well-known song when he thought he was out of earshot of the others. "So...so you think you can tell...Heaven from Hell? Blue skies from pain? Can you tell a green field...from a cold steel rain? A smile from a vamp? Do you think you can tell...did they get you to trade...your heroes for ghosts? Hot ashes for trees? Hot air for the cool breeze? Cold comfort for change. Did you exchange...a walk-on part in the war...for a lead role in a cage...?"

He hummed the guitar melody to himself as he went up the stairs. That nap was sounding better by the minute. He didn't stay down at the table, mainly because he didn't feel like he should be there at that time. The others were busy discussing important things about getting home. Things he really didn't have much to contribute to. He was just...there. He didn't want to feel 'there', so he went off. He felt like they had more than enough brains to get what needed to be done, done, and figure out the mystery. He didn't get a special dream, but that was alright. With his luck, whatever would've appeared by him probably would've killed him somehow with how his mind worked. He didn't want to hold things up. There were enough people down there, and his mind wasn't nearly as creative as their's was. But, he didn't loathe in himself or the others, rather he decided to take this opportunity to rest up and just chill for a while. If they truly needed him, they'd let him know. Until then, he felt like there wasn't much to do but be off on his own, or be an extra wheel, and he hated being an extra wheel.

She looked at Bran and shrugged. "You'll be bored. I'm just going to sit there and sort through files, maybe see if I can locate the feeds. And then Brit wandered off singing.

"Well, shit. Alright. We need to get going."

Remmy was eating a few pancakes while they discussed. She added her part, with whatever value it had. She looked up when the brought Neste in and introduced her. "So she's the key toget us out here. Or at least I hope so," she thought to herself.

"So we should go searching around town for the notable locations and see if anything has changed?" Remmy said,"Well I'm up for it. Shall we split up? Make groups before we walk off?"

The Brit walked off on his own and now they needed to leave according to Neste. "Or we could just go now," she said. She shoved the last bits of pancakes into her gullet and got up.

And so the creation would eventually consume it's creator(s)? Talk about biting the hand that feeds. Serina resisted panicking, but actively felt sinking terror in this possible end. Inhaled by the unseen yet omnipresent, leaving behind no knowledge to efficiently live on even in a futile, memorial way. It was ultimately the way everyone would go, yet it was one of those obvious things about the world that never ceased to amaze. The irony of the PL world itself ultimately being all of their demises reminded her a bit of "Danger music"--music intentionally written so that it could bring significant harm to either the performer or the listeners, a twisted form of avant-garde, but were almost always stopped in some way before such harm could actually occur. The players in the room had no such option today, no option to cancel or click the little red 'X' button, they would play through the game they created, or be eaten alive by it.

"I'll listen to any plans given," she added in, nodding. "I'm going to be honest, I can't really do much useful right now. I haven't been in any special awesome classes or anything, not the kind we could use. But I can try to help out with anything I'm given."

"I'm ready when everyone else is," Mins said putting his mug down and tugged on his (Dan's) jacket. Oh! Can we stop by Haven? Later, I mean, not much to see there, I know that for a fact," he mused, "buuutttt, I'm curious to see what it'll looks like in person. Its a harmless shop, that much I made sure of."

"Let's meet at 1 PM for lunch at Chaos? That'll give us four hours. I'll need to eat then, anyway."

She was at a loss to explain "what" it was they were looking for, though. She didn't really know herself. "Just... be careful. Pay attention, and stuff. The NPCs could be clues or just regular citizens making small talk. There could be weird things that have gotten into the mix. When is a door not a door? That kind of stuff. And, if my hunch is correct, don't walk into areas that look hazy or faded. Don't stick around. And take Turtleboss with you. If something's amiss, he's part of this world. He'd probably detect it before we do."

"Perhaps time does some weird stuff here in the Twilight Zone." The girl quickly poured the hot spiced water into her empty teacup. "According to my mom, I also have a talent for acting. I'm not entirely sure about talent, but theatre is currently my favorite class, hands down." Swallowing the drink in a few stimulating gulps, Fvaar glanced out. "It looks like everyone's going. I think I overheard part of it- splitting up to look for clues?" She crossed to the table at which she'd sat, tucked the feather back into her glasses, bundled the shirt, pants, and scarf together, put on the jacket, and, almost as an afterthought, grabbed her drawing.

"Wait up?" The girl's voice, while loud, was tentative. She turned back to James.

"You coming? If we can still catch up with them, that is?"

Remmy walked over to Tilt and stood near him. "I guess I'll go with you guys," she said, "Better get to know this place and find anything different. Though, you guys will be pointing those things out." She giggled at a thought. "I wouldn't be able to tell if fishmen are normal or abnormal at the Fish Market," she said, giggling nervously. She made jokes a lot, though others often find them not funny. She didn't care much though. As long at it was funny to her, that's all that mattered.

James nodded to Fvaar and finished his drink, smiling slightly to her as he did so. "Nice to see we have so much in common, even having Theater as a favorite class." He smiles and looked around. "We should probably go with them..." James stood, and followed Fvaar, not wanting to leave his newfound friend alone, especially since she was... Well, a she, and he was a firm believer in chivalry, at least, the parts he knew. He repeated her "Wait up?" in a loud, commanding voice, the kind that carries no matter where once is. He stood next to Fvaar, and nodded. "Lead the way. You know more about this world than I do, so you have a better chance of getting something done."

"Nevermind then, Tri-T-Swith." Bran shrugged, Swith's name sounding too weird still, and he'd always know her as Swith, and nothing else. "I'll go with whoever wants me. Maybe Mon over there could use my help. I'm in the same boat as her over there." He pointed at Serina, forgetting momentarily who she was, as he labeled people by their flags, not a picture or a video he saw once a while ago.

He painfully moved to put some coffee and water in. "Hello, and yes she did." Tina greeted in her turret-like voice as she powered up. PXM looked at the coffee maker then Trice. "You found keys to his apartment? Huh, I don't need to break down that door...or spending hours to find it. Was there the Lazer-Spanner or the keys to their car?" He inquired as Tina brewed. "It won't be easy. Dave won't like you, you made him that way." Tina mentioned, seeing a conflict ahead. "Fine, I'll just go along with Trice...still not sure of the plan though, or where she is going." He said, choosing a group, forseeing that if he tried to drive Dave, he might end up really hurt.

"I'm with Tilt."

Ren withdrew from his meditations. He wanted to seek out the fishing vessel crewmembers and they didn't remain around long after unloading their haul. He slipped on Klaus' jacket. "We'll meet up with you at 1, Trice. Let's get going."

Not one to wait on people once a consensus had been reached, Ren headed out. He paused only long enough to shout "mission, Brit" to the young man on the stairs, and then vanished down the flight of stairs leading to the lobby. He paused to check Klaus' mailbox but found nothing inside.

There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man’s fears, and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination.

The idea is apparently based on the concept of Pearlei singing the universe into being. Dimension determines actual power levels through this formula of raising the stat to the number of the dimension. There's a library around somewhere, a few schools, oh, and this might be important: the Building is sentient." She glanced at him sheepishly, swinging an arm around. "Sorry if none of that made sense."
Come to the light side.  We have teamwork, waffles, popcorn, grape juice, and way too much ramen.

Unless one is a genealogist, therapist, geneticist, or FBI agent - who is acting within the scope of their job - to claim that anyone is wrong about their own identity is not merely absurd but also extremely rude.

James looked at Fvaar very confusedly. "I... Have no idea what any of that means... Sure as hell wish I did... But I honestly have no clue." He smiles slightly, and shrugs. "I guess one of these days I need to make another dimension just to screw with the balance of the multiverse." He pandiculates (To stretch and yawn at the same time), and shrugs. "It made a little sense at the end but the beginning lost me, for the most part. Aren't there, like, player-run gods or something? I need to introduce MorloKitty if there are... He's the god of my nation's religion, as well as the religion for every single one of my characters."

He paused to check Klaus' mailbox but found nothing inside.

Brit stopped on the stairs and sighed. He had tried, but his mind had now turned 180 and switched tracks. "Oh well, I guess it can't hurt to try. Wait for me!" He said loudly as he came back just in time to link up with the others. "I should've known there wasn't any getting out of this." He said, laughing half-heartedly at his own cold feet and stupidity. It was futile to just give up on others when they wouldn't give up on him. He'd do his best and roll with it for now.

That wasn't much to go on. Tilt shrugged and watched Ren pass through, calling Mon. It looked awkward, since his arms were still folded. It wasn't as if there wasn't a hurry; now if only people would start going. Otherwise he'd resort to physically moving them along. Being a habitual loner had given him a very odd set of social priorities.

"Coming, guys?" he said neutrally to James and Fvaar. "Anyone else?"

Two choices, then: go to an observatory, which would likely be dangerous, or go to a fish market, which would likely be smelly. He began swaying back and forth a little. The Observatory seemed more immediately appealing. He hated fish. With the heat of a thousand suns. They tasted like... They tasted like fish! There wasn't even anything more unpleasant you could compare them with! Besides, he had no evidence to suggest that anything actually threatening would be there.

"Can I join your group, Trice?" he asked hopefully. He'd unintentionally assigned a (passable at best) French accent to her name; he had a bad habit of doing that to words that sounded foreign to him. Oh well.

Thought, I fear, may fail to return,

"I'm coming, Tilt. My dream did have me head for the market anyway." Jacob replied, jumping up from his seat with the pineapple and keys in hand. He stuffed the keys into his pocket, along with his pencil, and picked up the paper pad and stuck it under his arm to hold onto it. He thought all that he had could possibly come in handy in the future, or at least that it would be good to have a lot of stuff to make sure he could be prepared. For at least some possibilities.

"So, ready to go whenever. Just lead the way and I'll follow."
