She stepped out to where Ogoti was waiting patiently, and circled slowly for him. "Thanks for the wait. How do I look?"

Pale and soft in light, it held all the delicate nature of Summer most at ease, and Dan was very much so. With an empty stomach and nothing but alcohol to fill it in with, Dan was drunk, though not a total mess thanks to his innate healing ability. The power of the fae in him reacted to his emotions and the light of summer was never more attuned that it was now, or so he was convinced while telling that to Hans and Cuisine. He was happy, comfortable and the drink with ginger ale was likely to stay with him well into the night and throughout the rest of this retreat on the island. He tried to explain the glowing effect with some success and he knew he got the emotional state right, at least he thought so.
"And when I'm mad, which is never," he bobbed his head with affirmation, "it usually becomes a solid light. Never tried it before though, nope, more of a practice thing with Aurora.
A few leaflets floated down and one traced a ghost of a touch upon Dan's forearm. He turned his head, noticing it and picked it up, reading it immediately, "Nice a dinner party! Think they'll have turkey? That was good." He asked, clearly not remembering his vegetarian promise to himself.
"Anyway, I should probably stop with this drink, though I'd certainly wouldn't mind having it again at dinner time," he chuckled to himself and pushed the near empty drink away from him. Hiccuping a bit, Dan blinked his eyes several times and nodded with a grin, "Alright, need to get this in check, thanks for the company Hans and Cuisine, and I'll see you on later tonight." He got up, swayed a tad, and made his way back to his hut. Glow and all.

"I am a Khydir, Bran. But yes, I am similar to a dragon in that respect. Something you should know about my species is that we have two subspecies, one that looks more like how legends of Terra described dragons, and the other like I am now, Bipedal and all that. So we are like dragons in another way. I'm just not in that shape in this form. But I still do look very draconic." He nodded in agreement and his tail swished over the sand lightly, scattering it across the beach.
"I can agree I am a bit imposing to most humans. Especially seeing as I look vaguely human but not quite, and can do things like this," At that he held out a clawed hand and a small flame appeared in it, before winking out of existence after a few moments. The fire that had been there had not seemed to affect NAmal in the slightest, except for making him look a bit tired as he used up some energy. "By the way, that is an ability most Khydir can use, I'm not that unique in that respect, really."

"You look good enough to-" he trailed off, a healthy blush rising to his cheeks and other places. "You look delightful, Dora, especially your hair."
He formed a wrap much as he had the night the naked fairy had paid the building a visit. It was gaily colored to compliment her skin tone. He presented it to her with both hands and a bow but rather selfishly hoped she'd refuse it.

"Oh? I do not see why not. It is just some of my hair after all. Not like it is anything too important, like my heart." Sigtrygg responded with a shrug, looking at the mass of red robes he was conversing with. This was still quite weird, but he would get used to it eventually, probably. Or not. Some things you just couldn't get used to after all. Or were just very very difficult, like a new king being in charge or a new dynasty.

The stroll to the Raptor's house felt relaxed to him. They arrived neither too early or late. He hadn't any preference in seating or social groups and was more than willing to drift beside Dora as she sought out her companions. He didn't need her in order to feel complete in life; rather, she enhanced the world in which he walked, raising his spirits and soothing his troubles. He hadn't forgotten about Bane. Indeed, the fact that the creature had been so bold in his attempts to gleam information told him that Bane was perhaps becoming frustrated by the lack of substantial prey. Things were looking up, if this were true. Rash creatures made mistakes and revealed soft spots perfect for striking.

She considered the work she and Barox did to save the unborn Trisomy babies. Was it the same? Were they playing God and altering a child's fate without permission?
