No. I don't want to improve my gaming experience and thus I'm selecting this option because you've pretty much boxed me in to it. I know I don't actually have to select anything anyway but I'm compelled to cast a vote. I know I can go to viewtopic.php?f=31&t=268404 if I really wanted to voice my opinion.

I'm leaving in a few minutes, too.

Say, I'd actually like to have some interaction with the slower characters, like Swith or Klaus. However, that's Torii (my fast-paced) and one of the Mods (slower, finer). Perhaps we could see some collabs between the "Slows" and "fasts", maybe helping with writing posts, or doing stories?

And Swith, do you think that Torii is pushing Swith out the picture? Is there a way we could remedy that, IC?
EDIT: goodnight!

Any of the other characters looking into what the hell the explosion was? Volturius might be peeking around at why ninety tonne bomb went off in the supposedly sleepy city.

Excuse me, sir. Seeing as how the V.P. is such a V.I.P., shouldn't we keep the P.C. on the Q.T.? 'Cause if it leaks to the V.C. he could end up M.I.A., and then we'd all be put out in K.P.

Sorry.

I'm tired. I try not to be rude, but AETEN saying that he only made most of his characters because he wanted to try them out pissed me off a bit. IT seems really stupid to me to do that, imo.....

Not that. People will likely be interested as to why a high-explosive randomly went off in their local park that would normally harken terrorism and a whole 'nother bag of goodies.

When a bomb goes off in central park, the police don't call it a day because there's a Yankee game.

Also, it's what I do. I can't visualize a character at all unless I physically RP them out. It's also why writing bio's can be hard unless I have a clear-as-day picture in my head.

For me, it's mechanics. Grammar and spelling. Professional hazard; I did the Scripps Howard National Spelling Bee a while back. It makes me come down hard on people who make errors in their posts. Just keep in mind, end of the day, PL is here to help you relax. It's just a game, and not anything to raise your blood pressure about. Hard sometimes - trust me, I know all too well. Give it a try, though.

Goodnight Gio!

Physical writing is a lost art. *nods*

Spell check is awesome. Man. Except when it's done in MS Office. All those colored squiggles drive my OCD mind nuts. I have to clear every single one and make the red X on the book go away.

People complain my handwriting is too small and sometimes too cursive. Fortunately I've only run into the situation where I can't read my own writing once.

And now, good night, everyone.

I hate spell check for how I have to constantly update it whenever I get a new computer. It considers nearly every complex latin-based name (especially prehistoric organisms).

I mean damn, I know some people don't know anything about Paleontology, but I would still expect my spell check to recognize Dilophosaurus by default. Oh yeah, and it recognizes Brontosaurus. Oh the lulz.

Also, I suffer from insomnia a lot, and when I'm tired and writing a physical paper, I'll often tap a word I misspelled wondering why spell check won't fix it.

I'd really want to break out of it, but the thing is, no one else ever goes with me to do it. It's like saying you're going to do something, you get three or four other people to go with, then when the time comes to actually go? You're the only one who actually does anything, or tries to. No one else ever seems to want to break out of it with me, or they do, but never get around to it. I feel like my characters are blinky's because no one gives them anything to do but float at the top of the bowl and act dead.

It's frustrating, because that makes me feel that it's all my characters are worth, just dead fish. No one gives Kei anything to do because I'm terrible with gods and such, I can see why no one gives Rylli anything to do, Bran? Well he's changing. He's actually got a job that matters now. Natiya as well, she's got nothing to do, and there's already much better soldiers than her.

Again, it all comes from the feeling that my characters feel too normal, that (To other people) it wouldn't be interesting to play with them at all because they can't really do anything unique to help in any situation. There's never anything that a superpowered-god can't beat that a simple mortal can, so naturally, people go to the superpowered-god characters to do things, because they'd seemingly be the best choice in any situation.

I like it, it's like my puppet, the RDA from Avatar, sort of.

I definitely would have thought of getting some weedkiller, if Natiya already hadn't left the scene. It's like getting ran over by a car, only to have someone tell you that there was a perfectly good sidewalk right nearby, after you get ran over. If a machete doesn't do anything to a simple plant, then what would your reasoning be? That you can go and get some Ortho to take care of it, or that it's a really tough plant and you should stay away?

Its a weed. And I never said it was immune to poisons. It is alive after all. You could kill anything living with enough poison....

And yes, it was a simple fix. I said so like 10 times already. Something very simple that anyone could get access to if they thought enough... and I like your puppet NVE!

That point is kind of up to you, Bran. For example: Natiya could be frustrated at the situation, do some brainstorming, and carefully run in with the idea, thus being a large part of solving the adventure. If handled well, it can work.

YEah. Since NAtiya's been gone for most of the fighting, you could say she ran off to go think of some way to destroy it without getting too close.....
