"Because I didn't have any money and he was an ass," he said, again, shrugging.

Tipper nodded her head at that. "It would be blasphemy," she explained. "The defect isn't actually a defect. My sight was taken because another gift was given. We don't see it as a curse but as the greatest of blessings. I also can not have surgery performed on me. My body knits too quickly. I'm fashioned to be flawless. (With AETEN's approval)
The train turned out to be a blocky, substantial thing inside a blocky void. A staggeringly large number of white-armored figures, several cargo pallets, and a few light vehicles here and there throughout the length of the transport system. Ozzall led Dora onto one of the compartments.
The repulsorlifts activated with a low thrumming that made Dora bite her tongue and glance sideways at the Stormtrooper, and then they were in motion. The blur racing by was reminiscent of a power-enhanced run. It came to a stop, though, in a chamber almost as large as the boat bay. Some budging and commotion occurred as a number of the troops exited with the vehicles, as did the clone and the PI.

Excuse me, sir. Seeing as how the V.P. is such a V.I.P., shouldn't we keep the P.C. on the Q.T.? 'Cause if it leaks to the V.C. he could end up M.I.A., and then we'd all be put out in K.P.

Easily more massive than the AT-AT's, tanks could be seen being driven up ramps into the bellies of the hulking behemoths of durasteel.
Turning to Dora while rubbing her shoulder Ozzall's eyes could be seen staring hungrily at the Juggernauts, obviously wanting the ability to command one.

The overwhelming weight of metal held her attention. She'd seen things like them in the siege engines and warships of past wars, but she'd naturally never witnessed ordnance on this scale. A tank or an AT-AT probably was comparable to an aircraft carrier in mass, she estimated.
"Those things look like they could shake a building down to powder and shadows," she answered. "Will you ever get to run one of them?"

Thus, able to pull rank and do whatever the hell I want lest a high ranking Sith says otherwise."

She screwed up her face and concentrated. One wing disappeared with a pop followed by the second wing. A small golden band appeared above her head and landed on top with a heavy "thunk".

Of course you could also whack the guy above you and cover it up, but I'm not one for backstabbing. So when another major wars comes up- I'll be leading from the front and engaging the enemy personally- as always. Dangerous, but it's fun as hell and a nice way to earn medals. Preferably not the ones for getting a leg blown off."
Ozzall then led Dora back to the train, stepping onto a recently arrived car along with a hundred other soldiers dressed in a variety of uniforms and armor.

"Very nice," she smiled. "I could live with this." The clean lines and simple style felt cozy to her. "I suppose we just need a few things? Other than a bed, maybe a table and some chairs? A comfy couch?"
