I've been here longer than Aks, and he's still improved far faster than I have, I'd say. Although I was here back when PL wasn't really for mentoring RP'ers. I have improved though, I'd like to think. I believe I have.

Its actually gotten me more interested in writing in general(I used to think of it as a chore, but now its becoming more fun for me!) and I think that Its becoming easier for me to think of interesting ideas without help, as well. Which is awesome. I used to have such a problem as a younger guy when I had to think of ideas for writing essays and stories for school. I always freaked out and blanked, so I usually had to get the help of my parents....


But I think I'd be a dragon, not a turtle...... considering I've finally decided on my fursona(the furry version of myself, for people who aren't familiar with the term) and written out details for it. Its a Wolf-dragon mix!


@Bran:Well, to be fair, I had rping experience prior to NS. It just took me a while to get used to creative writing like this, since I hadn't been doing any rping for years. So it was more just remembering old skill, then improving upon it. I was inspired by Gio, Swith, and all the other great people here.

That's why I voted for them in the P2TM award thing.

Although I'm hooked now, it can be really fun. I'll probably never get on the same level as the people who deserve the nominations in that thread though.

Me: Cool! Do you ever like imagine going into that one show?
Friend: A few times!
Me: Awesome! What are you like in there?
Friend: Oh, I'm like the new girl, and cool, and don't take nothing from nobody!
Me: Totally sweet! I'm like, the super nice girl who is also crazy and has all kinds of weapons. (I remind you we were only 10 years old. This sounded genius in our heads.)
Friend: Oh my gosh! You gotta like, tell me about that sometime!
Me: I should! And you should like, tell me about your stuff too!
Friend: OH MY GOSH! Wouldn't it be cool if cartoon-us met and went on adventures together!

And it became a hobby between us for days, until I moved away, and found out, "Hey, apparently people do stuff like that on the internet too!" and it became a slow process from being a stupid free-for-all, fantasy second life, shameless wish-fulfillment game to serious writing.

Gio, if only you did that before there even was RP, that'd be a perfect story explaining where RP'ing originated from.

I only started RP'ing when people from the "Meanwhile in your nation" thread got sick of having pointless wars with eachother and One-Up battles, so they scaled them down into characters and made PL. I, feeling left out that I wasn't invited (Because god dammit, I did One-Upping too!), asked Dab if he'd accept apps, and there I went.
