Yeah. I'd like, ideally, to have it be first of October, since there's a few things going on behind the scenes that would tie into it a bit, but that's not a must.

Tilt, CreepFest will be one night. It might happen 26 Oct, which is the Sat before Halloween, since people might want to go out Halloween night. Then again, if there's a school dance, we could run into scheduling conflicts.

It's an encapsulated event that will flow pretty quickly. Slow posters might have a hard time keeping up. We're not looking for lengthy replies, but replies that contain a bit about what the character is feeling (or fearing) and any important actions (like running for their lives). Anything that happens during Creepfest won't become canon so characters who gain powers or die won't be that way once the Creepfest is over. It's a grimdark event... with a twist. The purpose isn't to spook the character... the purpose is to give you, the player, the creeps as you sit in front of your monitor. All other stories will be on pause that night and the thread completely dedicated to the event.
