The Daemonness looked at Tristan, slightly confused, and giggled a little.

"Oh, but where's the fun in that? This is the first human I've ever seen! I'm not letting him go that easily, even if his dancing's boring," she pouted, looking at the redhead and smiling enthusiastically.

"You don't dance with a sword pointed at your partner's throat!" Aldraniri protested, which seemed to genuinely surprise his assailant.

"But I had heard saying you were going to dance was part of what mortals call the smacking chat they exchange before they start trying to attack each other! Isn't that what we're doing?" she asked, her grip faltering for a moment on the black magic sword pointed at Aldraniri. The redhead suppressed a snarl of frustration, feeling anger and rage welling up in his soul. He didn't have time for this! The evildoers were getting away, and his path was blocked by this hell-spawn ditz! The boy felt his blood begin to boil as the Daemonness continued prattling on to Tristan as well, "And I can't let you two scurry off! I have orders to kill or detain any intruders! Or something like that...eh, it was harsh stuff, and I don't want to get in trouble again and get stuck scrubbing the Toilets of Darkness for a month again-"

"LISOETTE! Stop playing with your food, idiot," a smooth, oily voice hissed, as another Daemonne was now standing in the tunnel the Daemoness had charged out of, looking quite different. It was obviously male, with slicked back hair the colour of a moonless light pulled into a ponytail, flawless skin that was unnervingly pale, snake-like red eyes, dressed like a nobleman going for a nightime walk in his forest. "Honestly, you're an embarrassment to the race. Kill the feeble human boy already and knock out the Elemental!" He continued to bark, frightening the Daemoness, which confused Aldraniri. Of course, his confusion at the Daemoness apparently being bad at her job quickly gave way to panic about the execution order Lisoette's boss had given.

"I'm sorry," the Daemoness whispered to Aldraniri, before swinging wide at the redhead. Her aim was off, barely making contact with his skin and missing any vital areas. However, it was sufficient to cause some bleeding across a good swath of his chest. It was an odd sensation for Aldraniri, really. He had never sustained any major wounds in his life, the sort that mangled up the skin and caused the blood to rain upon the earth. Come to think of it, Aldraniri struggled to think of any time he had received a cut. The sight of his blood was an alien one, initially because of how novel a sensation it was, before he noticed something else about the ichor soaking into his white shirt.

His blood was blue.

The Daemonne didn't seem to notice this snarling in frustration and cursing at the Daemoness as he moved his right hand back, his black cape fluttering slightly. "If you want something done right you do it yourself," he hissed, as the gloved hand began charging up dark magic. "Now, die."

Time seemed to slow down to a trickle once again for Aldraniri as the beam of dark energy began to launch from the Daemonne's outstretched palm. He suddenly had the same flashback as when the corrupted thing in the castle attacked him, though things began to change rapidly. The Deirboare became even more monstrous, growing a beautiful, terrifying face and rearing up on hind legs, turning into a gigantic demon. It leered down at the little boy in the flowers, raising a leg up and bringing it crushing down on him.

ARISE. The sky trembled as the voice shouted through Aldraniri's dream, and the flowers all began changing to red roses.

Aldraniri's tiny arms raised themselves above his head, and his hands held up the giant monster's foot, struggling against the inconceivable burden. Awaken, my scion. Deny your birthright no more, and burn this evil before you! RISE, SON OF ALSVIDSTER!

And suddenly Aldraniri felt like a tiny boy no more. He threw off the monster's foot, knocking it over and standing back up straight, growing taller and taller until he towered above the giant. Wings of flame sprouted from his back and a halo of fire crowned his head, almost like the depictions of Pryastar he had seen in Haventown's cathedral and the shrine Master Jarnsmon kept. Aldraniri looked down upon his foe and grinned as he felt indescribable power coursing through his veins. The monster roared only once, before Aldraniri plucked the very Sun from the sky itself and brought it crashing down on his enemy. His vision ended in a brilliant deluge of flame, suddenly bringing him back to reality.

Aldraniri felt as if all his passion and anger and fear were pooling up in his left hand, causing it to suddenly flare up with a fever. He felt as if he were on the verge of being crushed underfoot, when the deep, fiery voice from his vision spoke once more. ROAR.

The redhead took a single step forward, planting his foot firmly on the ground as his perception of time began to return to normal, and jabbed his left fist forward. For a split moment Aldraniri felt nothing but utter calmness, before he felt a spark catching in every fibre of his being. And then came forth one of the most glorious sights he had ever seen: fire from his hand. The jet of flame blossomed instantaneously, filling up the entire tunnel and pushing back the darkness, blasting the Daemonne in the searing glory of Pryastar. The Daemoness that had been fighting Aldraniri dispelled her sword, nervously backing away from Aldraniri.

"Please don't hurt me! I'm sorry I turned your shirt blue!" she squeaked, before running down the tunnel in the direction Aldraniri had seen the Watchtower people go. Aldraniri watched her flee, breathing a little heavily and pressing his right hand to his chest.

"Should we go after her, do you think?" the Fire Elemental asked Tristan.

Constaniana wrote:"Should we go after her, do you think?" the Fire Elemental asked Tristan.

Tristan, upon hearing Aldraniri addressing him, looked at him. He then looked at the tunnel the Daemonne had been standing in moments ago, and then at the path which the Daemonness and the Watchtower cultists had used to run away. His gaze went back and forth between these three things for a while, no answer coming.

"...Uh... I... Ah..." Tristan tried to say something, but his mind was still confused.

"Just ignore everything you saw and think logically! Think logically!" He berated himself in his mind, forcing himself to react. He shook his head and then looked at Aldraniri again.

"Ah... You should probably go and have someone try to heal your wound." He said, pointing at his chest, though being careful not to touch it. If he disliked being dirty, then he sure didn't want to touch any blood, and if he didn't want to touch any blood he sure didn't want to touch that blue thing, whatever it was. He supposed it was still blood, but he had no idea.

"And I'll go and make sure they don't follow us, okay? Don't worry about me, I won't take long." He said, trying to smile and put on a brave face.

It wasn't working.

What he thought of and said next made it that much more obvious.

"B-but if for some reason, the statue I gave you breaks... R-run away." He said, immediately regretting thinking of that possibility. It really didn't help.

But either way, he turned around and looked at the tunnel the Daemonne had come from first. Thinking that it wasn't wise to leave it open, he focused and exhaled more white mist, before outstretching his hand, commanding it to solidify into a barrier of ice which sealed that entrance. With that done, he exhaled again, releasing even more mist, but this time, instead of having it do something, he simply kept it around himself as an aura of sorts. And then, cloaked in his aura of icy fog, he warily walked down the tunnel everyone had used to flee. He hoped there weren't any more crystal demons around. If he found another one of those out here alone, he was... What was the word Gallians used?

Screwed.

Aldraniri stood there a for a few moments as Tristan ventured down the tunnel in pursuit of the Daemoness and Watchtower cultists, wondering whether to try catching up to him. However, the Galllian's wound was starting to pain him, and he figured his fire magic would get in the way of Tristan's ice, so he decided to it was best to leave the chase in the naive foreigner's hands. Aldraniri thought he heard a faint thumping sound from the tunnel Tristan had sealed off, and stopped for several moments to see if it occurred again, but a distinct lack of sound from behind the wall of ice led the lad to conclude it must have been his imagination, and he began walking back towards the room where the group was.

Fortunately for Tristan, there were no more Crystal Demons to interrupt him as he went after the enemy, and he soon came upon a chamber filled with the sounds of battle. There were several more Watchtower members present than Aldraniri had first seen coming this direction, and they were engaged in fierce combat with Lisoette, who was far more competent in battle than her airheaded demeanour would suggest. Three Watchtower knights rushed towards her with claymores drawn, only to get slammed back by a multitude of crackling black swords the Daemoness summoned, which she followed with lightning bolts. The Watchtower members were in the process of retreating into a door like the one Tristan and his friends had come through.

"I never really appreciated that sort of sentiment," Richard replied, rolling his eyes at Eric, "It's like a deer complaining that it can't fly with the eagles. But yeah, you're probably right about the bones thing."

Stealthy as a mouse (The north might not teach one much in the way of human society, but it gave one the ability to avoid being mauled by a bear), Tristan approached the chamber from where sounds of clashing swords echoed, hiding behind an actual boulder to avoid being seen by whoever was in that place fighting. Peeking out furtively from behind his rock, Tristan analyzed the scene. There was the blonde demon girl with the violet eyes and odd wings that had attacked Aldraniri earlier, apparently reluctantly from what he had been able to see, though he wasn't certain. What was her name, Lis... Something? Whatever. He had in all honesty not paid too mucuh attention to that, his mind was already rather deep in the realms of confusion by then.

There were also a lot of cultist soldiers there, though all things considered they seemed less shady than the two bastards whose hands he had found himself in the need to slit for the greater good. He couldn't see the yellow-eyed woman anywhere, so he figured she had already run away. The door was right there, after all, and while she seemed to be good with whatever she used against Aldraniri, she didn't exactly come off as gallant. And her cylinders were cheap.

Now, the thing Tristan had to do now was to figure out what the hell he was going to do here, but for some reason his mind kept going back to the same thing, and he couldn't for his life understand why. Until he figured it out, that is.

"Cylinders!" Tristan thought to himself. "I'm a genius!"

Taking off his backpack, he began rummaging through it in order to find what he had been looking for, until he finally did. It was, to put it simply, a black cylinder he had the decency of keeping for a couple weeks after it was entrusted to him at the Galloping Mare. He didn't know why he had been holding on to this thing for so long when he couldn't eat it or sell it, but he figured it would finally be useful to him here.

Thus, he stood up from his hiding spot and, hoping it worked automatically or some such thing, tossed it straight into the battlefield.

The cylinder clanged on the stone floor, going off almost immediately after that. White gas began to whoosh out, causing more panic among the already alarmed Watchtower forces. Coughing and wheezing the remainder of the Watchtower knights abandoned their efforts to slay Lisoette, bolting towards the door before they succumbed to the sleep-inducing toxins and were left behind to avoid the Daemoness following the others through. Their full plate armour allowed the knights to reduce their exposure to the gas, a protection Lisoette was sorely lacking. The young Daemoness staggered around, trying to continue her attacks in vain. Lightning bolts struck the walls and ceiling and magic swords briefly popped into existence before spluttering out after a few moments. She managed to land a hit on a few of the remaining Watchtower members as they tried to flee to the portal, luckily landing her swords in the gaps in their armour. For all their talk of saving mankind, the comrades of the wounded knights were perfectly willing to leave them behind to avoid further combat with the Daemonness.

Lisoette turned from looking at the door and prone Watchtower agents when she smelled a slightly familiar smell behind her, glancing around the room in confusion. She looked fairly drowsy, as would have been expected of something that had just received a blast of sleeping gas in her face, but the compounds obviously had different effects upon Daemonnic bodies. Lisoette's face was flushed as well, and she had trouble walking in a straight line.

"Whahatwas that stuff?..." the young Daemoness asked to nobody in particular, before tripping on her own feet and tumbling to the floor, "Ow! Stupihidi Wutchtuwers...I'll lightningupyour bums, ye...bums..." Lisoette's "smacking chat" hadn't been too great when she was sober, and whatever the gas was doing to her mind certainly wasn't helping.

After having tossed his projectile into the fray, Tristan nearly immediately crouched behind the rock again, returning to his hiding spot, though his head remained visible as he continued observing what happened from there. The Watchtower cultists seemed to be affected by the white gas coming out of the cylinder, though they still managed to dart towards the door that led out of the Inferno, since they seemed to know what the gas was. Maybe, just maybe, they would recognize it as one of those things the yellow-eyed woman used and blame her for what was going on? He doubted it would happen, but maybe it would, and that would certainly serve her well. Maybe they would even blame them for the soldiers that were left behind? Although... He didn't really want to have them weighing on his conscience and- Oh, the girl stopped attacking them. That was good. She was now looking in his general direction, though, so he had to be careful. His white hair was probably noticeable against the Inferno backdrop, but she was, apparently, a bit too drowsy to notice, and she soon tripped on her own feet anyway, so she was probably not going to see him anytime soon. Still, though, the gas seemed to be affecting her rather oddly, maybe because she had wings and that kind of thing, so he figured he might as well try to help her. It was true that she hurt Aldraniri, but she did apologize and everything. As far as he could appreciate, in Gallian societies that was enough for people to forgive others for most any offense, though sometimes it happened reluctantly.

In any case, she didn't seem nearly as imposing as before, what with being on the floor and everything.

"...Are you alright?" He asked from behind his rock.

"Wha?" Lisoette asked, struggling for several moments to stand back up and failing, finally settling for sitting on the floor, "Yeah, I thinkim fine. My head feels funny and my chest is all itchy for some reason, but other than tha everything's super over here! Thaks for asking, Mr. Rock!" She replied cheerfully, crawling over to Tristan's hiding place, completely ignoring the Ice Elemental at first as she touched the boulder. "Mr. Rock? Are you still there?" Lisoette asked, looking at Tristan for a moment before realization spread across her face.

"Oh! The rock wasn't talking! It was you again...what's your face....err..." Lisoette frowned a little, reaching out and poking Tristan's face a few times as her eyelids drooped slightly, "I thought you said you were leaving with your friend? Did you come back to talk to me?" The Daemoness asked, blushing and poking him a bit more.

Aldraniri heard Eric's voice calling out, and ran down the tunnel towards it. "Hullo there, Eric! Tristan ran down the tunnel after a Daemoness and more of the Watchtower cultists. I would have gone with him, but he said I should get this checked out by someone else," the redhead explained, glancing down at the blue bloodstain on his shirt, "Oh, and look what I can do now!" Aldraniri said eagerly, snapping his fingers and summoning fire in his hand.

"Cool, isn't it?" The lad asked, grinning.

Tristan stayed behind his rock as the winged girl tried to stand up and failed quite a bit. That was probably because of the gas working oddly. None of the cultists ever really acted like that, stumbling around and talking weird, after all.

The gas was probably also the reason she thought at first that the one talking to her was the rock he was hiding behind, but at least she was fine. As far as she knew, anyway, because thinking a rock is talking to you is probably not a sign of being fine. Regardless, he tensed up a little when she crawled over to him. She certainly didn't look as threatening as before, and even made him feel a little bad for whatever the hell the gas had done to her, but there was always the possibility of her doing some magic trick to hurt him.

And then, she started poking him in the face.

"Umm... Tristan." The white-haired Elemental said after seeing her struggle to remember him, not knowing what else to say. He hadn't expected her to remember, anyway, because he really didn't even tell her his name. "And... Well, we were going to leave but then you hurt my friend so I came here to make sure no one followed us back to the exit to try to hurt anyone else." He explained. "But that mean guy was forcing you to do that, right? You don't seem bad. You even apologized."

"Step away from the boy, chicken lady."

The sword of Belle Lame scraping the floor echoed as Eric stumbled onto quite the unusual scene.

"Don't think I'm afraid to cut down an angel. Cause I'm not. Especially if you're here for me. I'm not ready to cash my check just yet."

He spun his sword around and pointed it at her.

"Now back up."

Tristan noticed footsteps behind him and looked there, only to see Eric approaching and then pointing his sword at the girl. He just blinked a few times at this before speaking.

"Put that down, Mr. Eric." He said. "She's obviously not a chicken."

Aldraniri thought the old man would have been more interested in the fact that he could summon fire from his fingertips now. Then again, perhaps Eric's senility prevented him from getting very excited about things anymore. Aldraniri continued down the tunnel and returned to the room containing the Inferno's keystone, looking at the fallen Crystal Demon with fascination.

"I missed killing a giant monster? No fair!" He complained, announcing his presence.

"Yes, well perhaps that will serve as an incentive to discourage you from recklessly charging off in the fu-by the gods, what happened to you?" Kroisoto said, his voice filling with alarm as he turned to look at Aldraniri and saw the blue bloodstain on his shirt, "Have you been hiding the fact that you're an Elemental this whole time?"

"What? No," Aldraniri responded, "I was going after the Watchtower wench when this Daemoness came at me with magic swords and scratched me open a bit. This other Daemonne, who I'm assuming was her boss or something like that, got mad at her for not killing me and shot dark magic at me. I had this bloody weird dream before I could suddenly shoot fire out of my hands. I drove the Daemonnes off and Tristan went down the tunnel to make sure there weren't more of them coming to attack us or something," the lad explained, before gleefully cloaking his hands in flame again, smiling from ear to ear.

"That's a little odd. Magic normally manifests itself a lot sooner," Richard pointed out, to which Aldry merely shrugged.

Lisoette looked at Eric in confusion, scooting behind Tristan and poking his face a few more times to reassure herself.

"I'm not a duck or a chicken or a sucky bus!" She pouted, before continuing, "What is a duck and a chicken and a sucky bus? You're kinda scary. You remind me of Veganiz. You're not going to try forcing me to clean toilets or stab Tristan's friend, are you?" The girl leaned in towards Tristan.

"Your bludding friend isnae going to come back here and do the flamey thing with the whooshy hands magic on his stupud face, is he?" She whispered groggily.

"Erm..." Tristan was more or less at a loss of what to say after seeing the exchange between Eric and Lisoette. The former was obviously impatient, and the latter sounded a bit scared. The Ice Elemental glanced at Eric once before turning back to the girl. "...No, don't worry. I know what it's like to be forced to do something against your will. Nobody's gonna do that." He assured her. "And... Well, he might do that some other time but I doubt he will do it to you, I should be able to convince him of that." He stated.

Then, he stood up and dusted himself off a bit. "Anyway, we should really go. One of the people we're traveling with wants to collapse this place and it is probably not a good idea to stay here once that happens, so why don't you come with us? I'll explain everything to the others. Eric's mean, but he doesn't seem to mind, so the others shouldn't either." He said, before offering her a hand to help her up. "Here, let me help you."

"Oh-ho. Tristan, you dog you."

Eric stifled a snicker as Tristan offered to help her up.

"I get it now. The heart wants what it wants. Who am I to judge? If you and featherbed here need a few minutes alone, I won't intrude. Just be quick about it."

He meandered back the way he came, chuckling as he walked.

Tristan heard Eric call him dog and snicker and glanced at him, confused. Dog? Why dog? Did he smell? No, that wasn't it. Tristan was tidy, damn it, and he hardly if ever sweated, being cold most of the time. But he was also fairly certain he didn't look like a dog, so Eric's comment was rather out of place as far as he was concerned. Besides, whatever would they need a few minutes alone for? He was trying to get her to come along, not stay there while the whole Inferno crumbled, and he certainly didn't feel too eager to stay there himself, even if she wanted to. And what did hearts of all things have to do with any of this?

Figuring Eric was just using those weird and impossible to understand phrases Richard had called "metaphors", Tristan gave a mental shrug and turned back to Lisoette.

"...I don't know what all that was about, but hurry up and come along." He told her.

"Yay!" Lisoette cried cheerfully, grabbing onto the Ice Elemental's hand after a few missed swipes and pulling herself back onto her feet. "Yeah, collapsing sounds no fun. Wait, do you still need a way out of here? I knows where there's another one of the doorey thingmies!" She exclaimed triumphantly, tottering towards the way they had come into the room. "You dunt want to go through that door there that the grey people went through, 'cuz they'd probably try stabbing and stuff since they're meany heads. But I know there's another exity door! Follow me!"

Lisoette managed to have enough coordination to walk out the room, heading down another passageway (Infernos had a lot of passageways) and coming into an empty room holding another one of the arcane metal doors, though this one was noticeably larger and had runes carved above it.

"It says Eri....Erihull...Erinall...something. I don't remember the exact name, but I heard others talking about, saying it was some major Galllian port, whatever that means. But it's a way out of here, which is good," the Daemoness explained cheerfully.

For someone who couldn't stand up on her own and needed several tries to take his hand, Tristan thought that Lisoette was doing admirably, seeing how she managed to head out of the room and into the hallway, and, furthermore, lead him all the way to another one of the Inferno's exit doors. During the short trip there he didn't say anything. He knew already where one of the exits was, and he also knew that before he left he had to go back and tell the others to take the keystone and them come along, but it wouldn't hurt to see another one of the possible exits. Maybe it would be better to go through this one, and the path to the other might collapse or something. And she was right that going through the exit the Watchtower cultists used was a bad idea. They could be waiting on the other side for all he knew.

Once they reached the door, Tristan turned to his companion and nodded. "Yeah, that's a good thing. Thanks for showing me. But we can't go yet, I have to go get my friends, and we probably need to do something about your wings as well or people might get scared or act mean like Eric did." The Ice Elemental explained, before wondering what to do about that, scratching his head. "...But I guess we can worry about that when we're outside." He reasoned, leading her back out of the room. "For now just follow me, we have to go back to the others." He told her as he began heading back to the keystone chamber, leaving a trail of ice behind him, both as a guide and as a means to move faster if it was necessary.

"Guys?" Tristan called out as he approached the keystone chamber.

"Oh? Back already Tristan?" Aldraniri asked as Tristan came back into the keystone chamber, not noticing Natalie creeping into the room. "So, did you-" the boy stopped speaking for a few moments as Lisoette slid in behind Tristan, "What's she doing here?" Aldraniri spluttered. Lisoette had folded her wings in, making them practically unnoticeable, though her pointed ears still gave away the fact that she wasn't human.

"You lot can yammer on and play with magic swords later. We've finally got everyone here, and we already know where the exit is, so let's take the damn keystone out and blow this waffle stand," Richard snapped, walking over to the black diamond and giving it a tug, though it remained in the pedestal, "Stupid things used to come out a lot easier," he complained, before the arcane gemstone finally popped out. Immediately following this, black lightning bolts shot out in random directions from the pedestal, striking the wall above the doorway the group had initially come through, causing it to cave in. Richard swore and frantically looked around for a few moments as a dreadful noise began reverberating through the cavern. "Well, this Inferno is coming down a lot faster than the other ones I've been in. You kids didn't find another exit by any chance, did you?"

"Ooh! I did!" Lisoette piped up.

"Great. Show us to it," Richard barked. As I don't feel like waiting around for posts saying "And they ran", the group safely reached the door Lisoette had shown Tristan, and went through it. The group emerged in a ruin underground. The floor appeared to be a plain grey stone, though the crimson hue of the portal behind them skewed with that fact. Richard looked at the metal door in approval as the red runes on it faded away, leaving the sliver of sunlight ahead as the only source of illumination in the room.

"What's that up ahead?" Lisoette asked, sounding a tad more sober. The Daemoness skipped ahead of the group, stumbling once or twice and bounding the crumbling stairway out of the ruined room. A few seconds later a cry of surprise and alarm sounded from upstairs. Not bothering to draw the sword he still had on his person and simply cloaking his forearms in fire, Richard went after Lisoette, expecting to encounter a monster of some sort. Instead, all he saw around him was a ruined castle courtyard being reclaimed by nature, with grass and even well-developed trees breaking through the cobblestone. The Halvefori saw the strange girl blinking and rubbing her eyes a lot as she gawked at her surroundings, amazed at even the most mundane piece of grass. The sun was still in the sky, though it seemed to past midday, and Richard wasn't sure where to begin in attempting to figure out where they had landed, as it obviously wasn't the port of Erilhall.

"Well...ain't this something...hang on. I need to mark that I've been here."

Drawing his whittling knife, Eric approached the nearest tree and commenced carving something in it.

"Eric...Lumen...Was...Here. Done."

He stuffed his knife away, admiring his work.

"Kind of a thing I do. 'Eric Lumen Was Here' is carved several places on several different countries. I'm hoping it becomes some weird folk legend one day."

Finally outside of the Inferno, Tristan felt relieved at last. Now that he was back in Gallia, at least there would be no more giant crystal demons or red-skinned warriors trying to hurt him or his friends. Sure, there were still those Watchtower cultists out there, somewhere, and Gallians, he told himself for the hundredth time, were weird, but, all things considered, being out here was much better than being back there. Tristan took one last look at the door, which no longer seemed to have any power, and then finally decided to head towards the light, which in this context meant following Richard and the others out of the ruins.

Looking around, all Tristan saw was a ruined castle slowly transitioning into a forest. Upon realizing this, suddenly a slight feeling of apprehension entered his mind. Irrational as it may have been, he did not like castles, as he had made evident back at the castle near Balclyde, before he got sick and had to stay behind for a while. Seeking to distract himself, the white-haired Elemental walked up to Lisoette, who seemed to be quite interested in something, and followed her gaze with curiosity. But after doing this for a while he found absolutely nothing that would cause the same impression to him as it did to her. Sure, he had been surprised as much as she had been or perhaps more the first time he saw, well, vegetation. But by now, while it still weirded him out a little, he was more or less used to it.

So instead of looking for something where there was nothing, the boy addressed Richard. "Where are we?" He asked. "Liso... Err... Lis here said that the door led to... Erihull or something. Is this it?" He asked, having at first tried and failed to remember the girl's name. "And do we have to stay here?"

"Wait...I think I've heard about that. One time I when I was in Tyrnâth there was this funny little story the inhabitants of this old town called Haraldsholm told people to make sure they kept the communal plumbing system left over from the days of Galllian Empire clean. They said if someone clogged one of the pipes up then a mysterious warrior named The Loo-Man would come punish you," said Richard, before Tristan spoke to him. Turning to look at the Ice Elemental, Richard shook his head.

"No, you don't have to worry about staying here too long. I'd enjoy hanging around to explore an abandoned castle that has an Inferno entrance beneath it, but I figure I've been dragging you lot around with me enough," said the Halvefori, "Besides, I've got stuff of my own to take care of now that the trail I had on those Watchtower crazies has gone cold, and it isn't really interesting stuff to get others involved in.

As to your initial question, no, this most certainly isn't Erilhall, unless Inferno portals now come with some wacky time travel nonsense. My guess is that the portal just sent us near Erilhall, perhaps to give Tenaembra's commanders a chance to properly organize their forces before attacking, and it would be difficult to set an Inferno door up in an urban area like Erilhall without being noticed. Anyway, Erilhall is a major port, so we'd hear a lot of seagulls and people such if we were there," Richard paused as the wind changed directions, taking a few deep sniffs of the air, "Salt. The sea. Well, we're fairly close, I'm sure," He paused again, glancing at the several castle towers still standing, though vines had claimed much of their surface. "I reckon one of those towers gives a good viewpoint. I'll be back in a little bit," Richard strolled over to the base of one of the grey spires, passing through the open doorway and began to ascend the staircase he found.

"I hope this place has less monsters than the last castle we were in," Kroie commented to Charlie as they emerged into the courtyard together, noticing Lisoette completely stop moving, locking eyes with a tiny wee rabbit no bigger than the palm of one's hand.
