Benn30 (PMC roleplay OOC /open for signups)

Benn30. It is the most renown para-military organization on the planet. It has bases all around the globe. It functions as a country, but it isn't. The base located in Washington, sits atop a large hill. Luckily, the Americans were generous enough to let us rent the land.
Basic Overview: Benn30 was founded by Norris Bennett back in 2006. Benn30 has been fighting terrorists and doing defense jobs for countries around the world. It has gone for a seat on the UN, but it was rejected. Benn30 has grown up, and is being supported by all of NATO. The organization has a centralized government called The Council of the Strong. Here are the bases:
American Base:The American base is the main base. Here sits a mansion and training facility. The mansion sits atop a large hill. This is where all of the operatives congregate and start out. This base acts as the capital, it is the starting point of the operatives, and is where Norris still lives and trains.

Brazilian Base: This is a newly installed base in Brazil. It has been installed for training in the warm and moist environment. It acts as a guerrilla training base.

The base is man built and is designed for specialized operatives, who requested to be transferred
More bases maybe installed once the orgainzation grow and gains more money.

Benn30 is an RP I have been thinking up in my head for a few weeks now. I know this might be poorly organized, but life goes on. The main aspect of this RP is the life of your operative. Your operative will start out in the American base. He can range from being a new recruit to being a member of The Council of the Strong. The ranks are from private to colonel. There can only be 4-5 colonels. If you are going to be on The Council of the Strong, you are going to have to be very fit. The Council stays in America and are representatives of the organization. Norris Bennett leads the council. I will need a Co-Mod so I might telegram some one I trust to do the job well. So here's the app

He was a genius at almost every subject.When he finished high school he became interested in joining the army. He rose to the rank of colonel, and he set off with an honorable discharge. He moved his family to Washington so they could enjoy the nature. When Norris hit 35 he decided he would form an organization dedicated to defense. He named it after himself, and the age he had his son. Benn30. He has been leading the organization ever since. He has trained the officers himself, and now the officers are training the new recruits.
Reason to Join Up:He wanted to go back to the military lifestyle, but he wanted to be with his family at the same time.

Terrorism is on the rise, and Benn30 hasn't been out there to stop it.So Norris figured he just had to reorganize the organization, that's when Bennett created the Council. Now, the missions are mainly about fighting terrorists. The missions are usually assigned by countries willing to pay, so the organisation is mostly mercenary. Also, it is defending Switzerland from outside dangers. So, I might incorporate a World War so the organisation will fight for the Swiss if they enter into the war.

The Swiss do have a standing army (and conscription of male citizens) despite a reduction in force a few years ago. They're fairly awesome on their own, but they don't take part in wars. They do peacekeeping missions, however, and they primarily defend the country. The English language web site can be found here. I like the rest of your concept, however.

Also, the Swiss criminal code makes it specifically illegal to serve as a mercenary (with an exception made for the Papal Guard). I am, however, interested if you could provide a little more detail.

Specifically: What background do most mercenaries have? Ex military? Ex special forces? Civilian?

Bio: Tomica was born in Sesvete, Croatia. He was very bad at almost every school subject, except for PE and maths. He joined the Croatian Armed Forces. His rank was very high, his rank was major commandant. But, after a classified incident known as The ANU Incident (in which no one got seriously hurt) he was downgraded to simply cadet. But, his close friend, who was also the general, said that a guy with his talent should join the Benn30.
Reason to Join Up: Two reasons: he loves working in the army and he wants to make up for his mistake.

A former member of the Austrian Jagdkommando, he was seriously injured in a parachute accident and released from active service. After recuperating and regaining much of his old strength, he took a job as a bodyguard for a wealthy Arab sheikh, but was fired after an incident in which his (slightly deranged) employer was throwing a tantrum and holding an AK-74 at the same time... a dangerous combination which caused him to knock the man out with a well-placed punch, and the sheikh to cancel his contract. Now fresh out of a job, he is hoping his notorious bad luck will not ruin another job opportunity.

Well, as the last sentence implies, he is fresh out of a job and soldiering is his profession. Plus, he did not want to take another bodyguard job. His last employer soured him on it. It was this, or the French Foreign Legion, and he thinks they are treated too much like cannon fodder.

They have access to anything that is legal on the market, but they barely use assault weapons, they mainly use pistols to train, and they use assault weapons on very violent missions

well, considering that they are a Privite military company, I think they would be using assault rifles most days .
