Fortu covered the phone. "Six foot tall primates, and we got five minutes before the liquid nitrogen is released." he told Monique before going back to the call. "What kind of problems? And I heard they were dead." he told Nessle as he keept an eye on the primates outside.

"What? You want us to run from six foot tall primates... and while in hazmat suits?" Monique checked her ammo. "Okay, but it'll be messy. What happens if we stay when the liquid nitrogen is released?"

"Not necessarily so, Fortu," Nessle replied. "We have two from a different dimension. They are calling them "Good NVE" and "Good Gretta" although they seem no different than the ones from your current dimension. They seemed to have shorted out psychologically during a confrontation yesterday. We placed them in stasis and awoke them, but they've regressed."

Naomi traveled down the stairs and opened the lab door, glancing inside to see who was home. "Seems quiet," she said to Bran, Sapphire and Barox. "Just constructs. Follow me."

"No, though I'm sure if you dug long ago, you'd hit the underground caverns. But I'd rather not destroy our lawn," she walked around and inspected it. "And yes Rylli, you are right... I'm just a bit frustrated they're not answering my knocks."

Naomi traveled down the stairs and opened the lab door, glancing inside to see who was home. "Seems quiet," she said to Bran, Sapphire and Barox. "Just constructs. Follow me."

"Alright." Bran smiled. "This place cleans up pretty nice." He commented.

"No, though I'm sure if you dug long ago, you'd hit the underground caverns. But I'd rather not destroy our lawn," she walked around and inspected it. "And yes Rylli, you are right... I'm just a bit frustrated they're not answering my knocks."

"Want me to try?" Rylli asked, walking over to the door.

He pulled the hammer back on his revolver and stood near the door. He resumed talking on the phone. "Reression? Be more specific...and don't worry if you hear gunshots, I'm still listening." he told Nessle.

The raptors were trying to break a window by throwing lab equipment at it with their teeth.

"Constructs?" He asked, obviously Naomi was telling the truth with how much Bran knew of them.

She pointed to one of the constructs passing by. "That's a higher construct. They're genetically engineered. That's their lizard from. They have a human one that they can assume. This entire lab is part of a colony that Swith farted out her ass one day after deciding-"

Her eyes widened and she looked at the two dinosaurs behind the containment barrier. "Is that NVE and Gretta?" she asked, coming closer and tapping on the window. She wasn't afraid of them breaking out. It was built to withstand Eldritch as well as the Deadlies.

Nessle nodded to Naomi, "Yes, that's them," she whispered, covering the phone's mouthpiece with her hand. "I've got Fortu on the phone. "They're behaving like typical raptors, Fortu," she continued. "Aggressive and inquisitive, but not the refined spark we're so used to seeing from your people."

Lidev groaned and mumbled Torii's name.

Torii continued to shake Lidev, groaning from the pain.

"C'mon, dear....wake up, please?"

Lidev's eyes shot open. Her sclera was black and her eyes were slit; demonized. She grabbed Torii's collar and brought her to her face. "!tsixe ot desaec sah evol ot emoc evah uoy eno ehT" She muttered in a backwards, demonic voice. Suddenly, she let her go and inhaled sharply for about thirty seconds before she sat up and shook her head. She looked frightened. "Wha......where am I?" She asked.

Bran glanced at the two raptors, it was like someone had flipped the 'Factory default' button on them.

Torii was looking back at Lidev, her face showing a mixture of intense fear, confusion, and surprise. She was shaking as well. Her hood had been thrown back, but she quickly pulled it back on. If Lidev had looked, she would have seen a quick flash of burnt skin before Torii covered it.

"That's... really sad," Naomi said, noticing his glance. "I know they created hell yesterday, and tried to take over the world, but those two were alright in the end, and you did convince him to blow up the rocket."

"It's like they're not even there anymore, replaced by two unrelatable . . . Lizards." He muttered.

"I liked the Weirds, but this NVE was my first friend. I was created when when we had to go into his head to save Arthur, so this particular NVE matters most to me," Naomi said quietly.

"Sapphire, you're welcome to look around, if you both want."

"On the count of three. One...two...THREE!" Fortu said and kicked the door open and killed three of the primates and wounded the forth with shots from his revolver. There were still three coming at them. "Sounds like their brains have been overloaded and trying to reboot. Higher functions are disabled while they are recovering. They should come back in a while. Depends on what caused it. LOOK OUT!" Fortu said and reloaded before firing at a primate moving for Monique.

"That's... really sad," Naomi said, noticing his glance. "I know they created hell yesterday, and tried to take over the world, but those two were alright in the end, and you did convince him to blow up the rocket."

They continued to attack the glass.

"Pitiful . . ." Bran said, stepping back when something sharp came his way.

I stuck my head through the gap in the door. "Hi Kei. No trouble today, just offering my services as healer-in-a-pinch. Mind if I come in?"

"Sure . . . Lidev, Kei, there'sa visitor here for you."
