"Because it matters to me if you're unhappy, and because you should be happy," Naomi smiled. She stepped closer to Mai, though not close enough to be threatening. She examined the structure of her face, at least what little of it could be seen, and her hardware. "You know, you're pretty," she smiled, "at least, for a cyborg sort of being. I know a really ugly one, although his appearance sort of grows on you after a while. I'm glad you're free to walk around and be your own being now."

She followed Mai's directions and found the tree.

"I am glad too, i'm also glad that I do not sound like a damn machine, even though I am an A.I., still, this is the greatest gift I have been given, then again, it's the only gift that has been given to me." *She opened the door to the workshop and pointed towards the tree* "And thank you for the compliment."

"She is new. Well, somewhat. How long have you been here?" The User asked. Lilly thought it over for a moment as she held onto the User's arm. "About a month or so." She said in response.

"How could we miss that? We don't recall trying to eat her a month ago or being told not to eat her." NVE said and looked at his flamethrower.

Lilly frowned. "...I'm sorry?" She asked, a look of concern on her face with her eyes still closed. The User leaned over to NVE. "You know all Froxian citizens are off limits to you, under penalty of Lidev, Mon, Klanov, and I." She whispered before leaning away. "She's been inside, hanging around. Keeping Samantha company. You know. She did help with the Christmas feast, however."

Inside of her apartment room, Ilgniwz was inside of her second previously-empty room, which now looks exactly like a planning and strategy room she created from drawings and various of other art. She sat down on her chair and folded her fingers, looking over at a document titled "TOP SECRET". Pulling them, she begun to look inside, which contained her "plans" to take over the world, but they appear to be focusing on a certain little country on the Rhine. Giving a devious smile, she said, "Now... what plan should I attempt first..."

You know. She did help with the Christmas feast, however."

"Who is Samantha?" Gretta asked. "What just happened? Did we travel to a parallel universe when we got drunk?" NVE said and checked a device. "Nope, still the same universe." he added and pocketed the device.

She had knitted the scarf that morning from red yarn, although it lacked Swith's warmth enchantment, she had done a bit of charm to it herself. "Your lens won't fog if you're wearing this and come in from the cold," she said. It was the same enchantment she had used for Ceril and for Fortu's scarf because he wore glasses.

Freelance, of course, so you won't be clashing with your contract with NVE." She looked at the wording on his files and said "Oh! Nice!"

"She's another citizen from the Outer Territories." The User said. "And so terribly shy." Lilly added.

"What's the matter? We won't bite." NVE joked and laughed with Gretta. "So what did you think of our gift?" Gretta asked.

After hitting the beach, the two realized that they should've stayed with Naomi. They started back for the place but changed back right in the middle of the beach, not having their clothes on, they quickly bolted towards the water.

Bran and Rylli quickly changed into Mer and swam towards Swith's compound to retreive their clothes, Rylli was still without a top though . . .

"Swith prefers exotic beans," Naomi said, "although I like cappuccinos and lattes. We're limited on tea at the moment. Earl Grey, Lemon Zinger and I think some regular old Lipton are what's left."

"A new casino," Monique said. "The job should pay enough for us to put back into researching the self-cooking lobsters. My associates are already bringing in some of the best grifters and card sharks out there. What they really need is someone to hack the slots. Most casinos don't keep enough cash on hand to pay out more than one or two massive jackpots. The odds aren't likely that more than two will hit in the same night. If five hit, the casino wouldn't be able to make payment, and if three of those five were the mega-million slots, the casino would be bankrupt. Also, they need someone to keep security busy, which is where I come in. I thought you might like to take a crack at hacking the slots?"
