Monique ran her heels off beside Fortu, her lungs aching from the fast pace. She drew ragged breaths, hoping to make the building's doors before she collapsed.

Fortu saw Monique falling behind, he grabbed her by the arm and pulled her along. He pulled her into the buildings doors and slamed the door shut just as the Antibodies reached it. The door couldn't close because some tentacle with electric tips were wedged in the doorway. "You okay Monique?" Fortu asked as he kept his weight against the door, trying to keep the Antibodies from entering.

The door couldn't close because some tentacle with electric tips were wedged in the doorway. "You okay Monique?" Fortu asked as he kept his weight against the door, trying to keep the Antibodies from entering.

"Holy... God," Monique pressed against the door next to Fortu, gasping for breath. "How... do we stop them... from coming... in?" She thought about it a moment, and screwed up her face with determination. "You're him, but cloned," she said. "And what he thinks is manifested here. Maybe if you think of something massive, like a big cartoon weight, we could take the thought bubble and use it to prop the door closed?" She shrugged, hoping he didn't think badly of her for her weird idea.

"Mati is the name she told you that night you stayed," Naomi whispered. "She told me she had told you her name. And Tze is her brother. To be accurate, the brother of her greater being. I need to find Swith."
