Yelisey sighed at those wings, finally coming out from behind the cover of his coat and sat down in the sand. "I might as well get acquainted with the people here," he muttered. "I haven't seen anyone in so long. I kind of miss the insanity, as ridiculous as that sounds." He wasn't talking to himself, per se; he was talking to Yevan, who was happily listening in his own little pocket of Yelisey's mind. He was a great listener, truly. He just didn't give the best advise...

"Interesting . . ." Kei said, watching him watch her wings.

Sighing, for about the millionth time, Yelisey laid his coat on the sand and laid down on it, watching the clouds and enjoying the peace. Of course, there would hardly be any peace for long, he'd learned this the hard way. And so he'd savor it while he could. "That cloud looks like my uncle, Boris," he said to no one in particular, looking at no cloud in particular.

Klanov stirred. His head was pounding, and he felt really weird. "Where.....am I.......ugh...." He just felt wrong. All sorts of wrong. He couldn't even remember what had happened last night. His core drill was not on him, and therefor, could not tell his mother whether or not he was in danger. He opened his eyes.

*Over the island, Mai was flying over getting a good look at the lay out of the land below. She then looked up in the sky to see a spaceship, bigger than the moon, appear orbitting the earth. On the side of the vessel was the word WAR painted red on it's side. A few seconds later, the same ship jumpped just as quickly as it appeared.*

*Alek walked in to the kitchen to see Bran and Naomi talking.* "Mornin, you two." * He smiled, clueless to what the two were discussing.*

"I just don't know anymore, the lines have been blurred for me ever since I moved here and I hate it!" Bran yelled, just mad in general. "I need some time to think, and I shouln't need to deal with this shit right after my wedding either."

Bran sat back in his chair, crying.

"Will you help me?" He sobbed, not sure what to make of his life anymore.

"Help you? Do what? Kill Thriller? No. If Thriller dies... she has no reason to remain neutral. Do you honestly think NVE's weapon could harm all gods? I tired to show him his miscalculation. It was when Gio's sister arrived. We were at the helicopter and he was bragging. I told him to use it on me. I wanted to show him the truth. But he wouldn't. And now... Bran, think back on all your history with Swith and with me. Has she ever taken any action to harm you or your nation? Has she ever plotted to kill anyone because they might stand in her way."

She sighed and put her hand on his shoulder. "No immortal emperor. A god returned to extract vengeance. Tens of thousands of Cerils bent on crushing humanity before it can evolve and oppose her in the very distant future. The only thing halting that is Thriller himself, and our love for him. She left to save him and to keep his mind pure. But if Kei kills Thriller, humanity will be obliterated. I can't allow that. I must protect humanity. I have to. I'm incapable of hatred. I'm only love."

"Bran, I have to put my love for all humanity over the love I have for you. I have to stop that demon's plot."

She turned as Aleki entered the hut. "Go, and quickly. Tell the Emperor he's in grave danger. Someone seeks to assassinate him. Tell him not to be a stubborn or proud fool... his Naomi senses his demise. All of time will be altered if he dies."

Katya was strolling the beach as usual, singing to herself. Torii stumbled out of the jungle with a rifle slung over one shoulder, and several dead animals under the other.

"Looks like a good dinner, eh?", She said to herself.

Kei walked off, contently whistling to herself. Her plans were falling right into place, the world would be safe for her Children at last if the Raptors completed their mission.

Naomi shook her head at Aleki's statement.

"Bran, I'll help you. But we're running out of time. NVE has all the time in the universe."

I know Kei has the BranRiech's best interests at heart and shouldn't be harmed just because of her devotion, but the united humanity thing happens far in the future. Perhaps she can be persuaded with words? She's intelligent enough to understand. I won't lie to you, though. I don't trust anyone who would plot to kill someone. And," she looked away again, "I'm shocked that you would go along with it."

What surprises me is that you didn't die, in fact your system accepted his organs. It seems you haven't lost your free-will either. This is all very curious." Evil Gretta said.
