"Suit yourself," Swith said to Lucius cheerfully. "Superbia, there's a spare room down the hall. No bloody spears." She furrowed her brow. "So... what's the spear do?"

"Back to gift giving?" Naomi asked them.

"Yes! We shall give Thriller the gift of world peace!" Bran stated, marching towards the hut along wih Rylli.

Ceril waded across the path and entered the compound.

"Lucy, I'm home," he called tonelessly.

She glanced over and caught sight of Ceril. "In here."

Naomi picked up the bag and caught up with Bran and Rylli. "Let's try the workshop thing," she suggested, "Because I'm tired of carting around these gifts."

She hurried up the path and peeked into the space. "Sapphire? Priests? We have prezzies."

The User began walking off to the beach, being sure to avoid the water. She was joined by Lilly, would kept hold of her shoulder. Klanov was back in front of the hut, checking his rifle and scope sighting. Mon and Lidev were cooking dinner. And Samantha was playing video games in the living area.

Dab walks out of his lab, He finally got stuck all the ducklings in the closet. Except for one, that superglued itself to dab's head. "Damn you." He says to the duckling.

"The Spear of Destiny?!" Giovenith fell from a spot on the ceiling above, dropping an apple in the process.

Ceril caught her before she hit the floor.

Naomi picked up the bag and caught up with Bran and Rylli. "Let's try the workshop thing," she suggested, "Because I'm tired of carting around these gifts."

She hurried up the path and peeked into the space. "Sapphire? Priests? We have prezzies."

"Dang right we do." Bran said, preparing to pounce whoever they saw first.

"Lancea Longini," Swith said, "and holy relics are eternally abused in power plays, in my opinion. A single holy relic can make a king, and destroying a relic can break the same king."

Naomi shrieked and turned to face Mai. "Well, we have gifts for the priests. Do you want to hold on to them?" She felt a bit of pity for Mai, trapped in that body and unable to truly feel. It reminded her of Dani the first time Bones put her in organic form.

"Spear of Destiny!" repeated Giovenith, third time the charm. "Is that not what some people call it? The relic? Because of the rumors? Whoever wields the spear, has the power?"

"Really? Because when I had it when I was a mortal, I never felt any power."

"They are just rumors," she admitted. "That many people like Charlemagne, Napoleon, and possibly Hitler once had it."

Fearing for their fuzzy little lives, Bran and Rylli scampered out of the place and out to the beach.

The User looked at Gretta. "Aren't you going to open your's?" She asked, slowly unwrapping the paper.

"Sorry, I spaced out for amoment out of delight." NVE said and hugged the User. Gretta then opened her gift.

Naomi watched them go, understanding why they were spooked. She transformed back to her normal form, wrapping her clothing around her as she did.

"Well still, if those raptor touch it, i'll make them feel something worse than what hell could deliver." *Superbia laid on the ground looking at the ceiling with a smile on his face* "Except I have it, plus the nails. And I have been safe guarding them for almost 2 millenniums. "

"Because it matters to me if you're unhappy, and because you should be happy," Naomi smiled. She stepped closer to Mai, though not close enough to be threatening. She examined the structure of her face, at least what little of it could be seen, and her hardware. "You know, you're pretty," she smiled, "at least, for a cyborg sort of being. I know a really ugly one, although his appearance sort of grows on you after a while. I'm glad you're free to walk around and be your own being now."

She followed Mai's directions and found the tree.

"How could we miss that? We don't recall trying to eat her a month ago or being told not to eat her." NVE said and looked at his flamethrower.
