Personification Life - IC Part III

[Dabfia]

A tree branch bends down. Malu sits down on the branch. The branch then bends back up, Malu smiles happily staring out at the ocean. Her crab jumped off her shoulder and onto the branch, it too was also looking out at the ocean.

[Swith Witherward]

"It's quite alright. I'm sorry I struck you," Swith said, touching her nose to heal it.

"Oh right, that." Lidev said as she rubbed her nose.

Swith nodded at her. "Do you want to help me protect a Chinchilla from velociraptors... and himself... if you don't have other plans? I'm rather fond of him, you see, because he's refreshingly odd."

Naomi giggled at Thriller. "It's just so weird looking. I think I like the metal suit better."

[Monfrox]

"Well, Torii just went inside with Mon and the User, so sure. I think that'd be nice." Lidev said honestly.

Swith grinned and took hold of Lediv's hand, wrapping the universe around them. Her keen supernatural eyes and nose would allow her to feel what others couldn't... the glorious wash of colors and smells, each more pleasing to the senses than the next. It was a dizzying flight through a fractal universe that ended on the trail behind Thriller and Naomi. The physical world looked dull in comparison. Swith smiled at Lidev and let her hand go.

"Thriller! Naughty chinchilla! You left without me."

Gretta quietly growled, "I will see that offer and raise him pay with Nazi Gold" She offered. "But that is the exact same pay, only in stolen gold. If I continue to workk for you guys, I want Nonique to be safe, and for you to quit intruding on my personal life." Fortu said. Gretta was now looking angry. "Grrrr...Fine, you win. We can't let you be against us, self-sabotage is the worst threat to our plans. But don't think for a second that I approve of this." She said.

Monique snatched up a notepad and pen and wrote down the terms. "Sign here, Ms. Gretta. I'll see to it that you get the original document once copies have been made. Mr. Fortu, you'll need to sign as well."

Gretta scrawed her signature, if you could call it that, her signature looked like a random scribble in contrast to Fortu's neat penmanship. "You are lucky that Fortu likes you, otherwise I would have killed you by now." Gretta said through her teeth, she made a low growling sound. "Do you have to be so hostile?" Fortu said.

"You do?"* he replied with a grin* "Then you must love the feeling of cild steel than soft cuddly fur."

Gretta scrawed her signature, if you could call it that, her signature looked like a random scribble in contrast to Fortu's neat penmanship. "You are lucky that Fortu likes you, otherwise I would have killed you by now." Gretta said through her teeth, she made a low growling sound. "Do you have to be so hostile?" Fortu said.

"It's okay, Fortu, I don't mind," Monique said, carefully folding the contract and tucking it away. She smiled at him to let him know she wasn't afraid... and wasn't about to bail on him just because Gretta loathed her.

Swith's grin widened. "I can't melt into walls while in my matrix, although I can make my form a little blurry and hard to spot. I wish I could just teleport like Tsu without spending any energy at all. Ideal!"

Naomi was blushing furiously over the "cold steel" comment, despite Swith's glare at her. "Honestly, Thriller, I didn't think you'd leave before I was back."

[Dabfia]

"Malu." A voice that only Malu can hear says. "Yes?" She says. Malu suddenly disappears.

[Monfrox]

"I still don't know how she does that. She needs to cure her fear of me, though. It's very misplaced. There are worse things to be afraid of than me." Lidev said. "Although, that being said, my demon form is a bit...hair raising to say the least..."

Naomi was blushing furiously over the "cold steel" comment, despite Swith's glare at her. "Honestly, Thriller, I didn't think you'd leave before I was back."

"I got bored, I mean, what do ya want me to do, fix my genetic dial? Well actually I could have done that."

"I still don't know how she does that. She needs to cure her fear of me, though. It's very misplaced. There are worse things to be afraid of than me." Lidev said. "Although, that being said, my demon form is a bit...hair raising to say the least..."

Swith picked Thriller up and hugged him. "Mmmmmmmm. Here," she said, passing him to Lidev, "have you ever felt anything so damn soft? He should be illegal."

"Why haven't fixed your device yet?" she asked him.

Coming across a group of people, I cleared my throat. "Does anyone have a set of spare clothing?" I didn't ordinarily mind being uncovered, but it really was getting a bit cold.

"Because it's only the human one that doesn't work, plus I don't run the risk of turning wild. So, why fix it now?"* he rubbed his face against Lidev*

"I'm sure it's not because we're also giving you so much attention either." Lidev replied.

"Now that that is take care of, do ou mind telling me why you two have our tourist trap?" Gretta asked.

"Improvements for better performance. You would be able to accommodate more tourists and charge a steeper price with the proper upgrades in place," Monique said.

"Oooooooo~" She held him up high and then nuzzled their noses. "It's like the User's cat ears~!" She said as she brought the chinchilla down and held it, stroking it softly.

"I know! This should be a sin," Swith said, gently taking Thriller back and snuggling with him before handing him to Lidev again. "I could almost fall in love with him if he stayed that way a while," she laughed, "but I also could almost make him into a coat."

Naomi, deprived of something soft to hug, slunk back through the bushes.

I whistled, sharply. "Hey! Over here!" Really, was it so hard to notice a nude shivering woman standing alarmingly close?

My eyes started tingling, then burning.

Oh no, not again.

"I'm sure it's not because we're also giving you so much attention either." Lidev replied.

"Well..... that's only a small 10% on why I haven't fixed it, plus I didn't even try out the other three I have."

"Well I might be stuck like this if my dial breaks on me, but it won't so im good."

Primordial was waiting on the beach with a large metal case. He was worried which was an emotion that he didn't expirence often and that worried him further.

"Oooooo...I wouldn't mind you staying like this. I'm sure Swith wouldn't either. Or Naomi. Speaking of which, come over here." Lidev called to Naomi. She then leaned to Swith. "What about that girl over there. With no clothes." She asked, wondering what she was doing.

"It doesn't matter, we take all their money when we kill them." Gretta said and left to find "Arthur" talking to Tesla about his accidental time machine. Twain way spying on some sunbathers.

"Oooooo...I wouldn't mind you staying like this. I'm sure Swith wouldn't either. Or Naomi. Speaking of which, come over here." Lidev called to Naomi. She then leaned to Swith. "What about that girl over there. With no clothes." She asked, wondering what she was doing.

Swith glanced at the nude girl. "On this island... why am I not surprised?" she whispered to Lidev.

"Hello, can we help you?" she called to the girl.

Naomi returned to the group, wary of the new person. She raised her head and sniffed the air. "Swith, iteration," she said.

Monique waited until Gretta was out of sight and then she squealed and wrapped Fortu into an intense hug, kissing him. "Finally! The respect you deserve!" she said after a moment, "although I can't say that they'll stick to the agreement. Do you think they will?"
