A knock could be heard at the door, Bran was standing outside wondering what all the sounds of suffering were about.

"OUCH! Yes, we met when Mr.West was too busy!" Tesla screamed, joulted by the shock.

Naomi's face became sad. "We will never meet. All the choices you've made, all the deeds you've done, all were influenced by the moments prior to each action. You won't be you anymore."

She sat on the floor and studied his face. "Why not just bring her here? To now? At the moment her soul slips into the umbra."

*Thriller laughed* "You think I would be stupid and not find a way to keep myself the way i am today?" *He stood up, walked out of the room and then came back with a few scrolls, books, and blueprints* "I will give these to myself after my daughter is safe." *he said with a smile* "Even better, I can rewrite the Templar dream, and possibly save many lives that would have been lost in my blind rage."

"A madman walked into a hut and killed a farmer, his wife and son. The remaining son was tending goats in the field. He returned to find his family dead. He gave the goats away because he was too young to remain on his own, and then he traveled to the city, where he apprenticed for an old swordsmith. In time, he mastered the skill necessary to earn a living on his own and he found a new apprentice for his master. He discovered that the king was in need of an armorer, and so he went to the castle and was able to procure work. Over the span of two years, he worked hard. All the realm praised his skill and all of the soldiers bore his armor and carried his swords. The king, appreciating his work, asked him to fashion a silver locket for his daughter because it was her birthday. The princess, upon receiving the locket, went to find the man who fashioned it, and fell in love with him. The king granted the man his daughter's hand."

Naomi sighed. "A family would have starved if not for the gift of goats. The old swordsmith wouldn't have been spared much work if not for the boy, and if not for the new apprentice found. The soldiers would have gone to battle with inadequate armor and swords and perhaps the realm would have been lost. And the princess would have never discovered the man who would please her heart most. All was possible because a madman walked into a hut."

Naomi began to get angry. "I'm tired of losing friends to time travel. I'm the one who sits with a guilty conscious because I knew better but never acted to stop them.
