News flash kid, he doesn't care for you anymore, he hates you why else would he push you and the others away, now this maybe too much for you to take but.......It's the truth."

"Shit," that's all she had to say. She crawled into a nearby corner, put her head down as if in a tornado drill, and stayed there, waiting for it...

"Lied to me"? IJ asked curiously.

"Lied to you. Everything they promise is a lie. Power, fame, riches, being spared. You'll either be gassed or taken and twisted until you're no longer yourself. They've done it before, once upon a time." Swift remembered the used innocents who had attacked the building.

"And all I have is your word for it. Right". IJ sighed. "I offered my services for power and wealth. Acceptance in a new society". Said IJ.

The User looked between Naomi and Superbia. "Naomi...don't do it....he may be scum, but that's all. He's not worth it. Please." She said, stepping back a bit.

Swith sighed. "It was a lie. I'm sorry that she played you that way."

Naomi stood and walked towards Superbia, her eyes lacking any semblance of normalcy. Her voice was soft and flat. "Little demon, so great in your hell... and yet you tend bar for us and get by on tips from lustful, used up whores."

Being way past her bed time IJ passed out right there in the straps. For one is is normally out by 9:00PM this was a rare occurence. (Night)

Torii could hear some gunfire off in the distance. She unclasped the latch on her holster and out a hand on her pistol.

"Sorry, but I uh.....should probably be packing up about now. Nice meeting you though!".

She then cautiously entered the building and went to look for a room for the night.

She went to the spare room and dug around the closet until she found her favorite blanket. She curled up and fell fast asleep.

Secondly, I think Swith should have called you Babylon.. Babylon the Great, the mother of harlots and of the abominations of the Earth." *With that, knowing that he had really kicked the hornet's nest, he gave off a demonic laugh before falling back into a portal*

This can be heard loudly from Sergei's apartment.

Giovenith stayed silent, but contemplated the insult in her head.

The Whore of Babylon... what a truly terrible thing to say... And destructive. The Great Whore was said to be a sign of the Apocalypse in the Christian pantheon's belief. Such a comparison, especially after how Naomi had been acting... it sent shivers up her back.

Naomi turned away. The words didn't even register. She knelt down next to Bran and held him, staring at the wall and humming tonelessly.

"I shall go as well," said Giovenith, getting up and walking toward the door. "... I'm sorry, Naomi." She said before she went off into the darkness of the hall... what she was sorry for, probably none would tell.

Naomi felt them leave. She wasn't able to lift Bran by herself, and he didn't have an apartment to return to. She pushed herself around him so she could cradle his head and torso in her arms. She heard doors close.

"Enter into your chambers, and shut your doors: hide until the indignation be overpast..."

[Cerillium]

Ceril returned to devastation. He knelt and examined Bran. His scans picked up augmentations. The Drone Empire had been busy. He accessed the security system and found it set to deny Bran entry.

Spiffy. Just what I need.

He entered the bomb shelter. "Wake the fuck up," he opened Rylli's bedroom door. He patiently waited for her to clear the sleep from her brain.

"Your boyfriend is upstairs. The Drone Empire has altered him; he won't be able to come down here. He requires your attention upstairs."

Without waiting, he returned to Naomi and Bran. Naomi appeared catatonic.

"Hey. Annoying little godling."

"He was right. I'm the Whore of Babylon. I herald," she said, staring at the wall.
