Best you try that in World Market or International Incidents.

To my knowledge most of the expatriates were Irish and ended up fighting for the Union in units like the 69th New York Infantry Volunteers aka the Fighting 69th as this was only 8 years after the Great Famine had ended. But this is an alternative history RP idea so you could have an expat regiment from anywhere on either side.

This is actually a pretty nice idea. A cool deviation from conventional methods of RP storytelling.

I don't know anything about the internet, so I'd say it doesn't need people to keep it running.
Does need power though. Better fetch a lampshade.

Setting: 1930's Alternate History, recent leaps in engineering and architectural study have allowed both German and British mechanics to develop a new form of armored vehicle for the second world war. These "Walking Armored Vehicles" or WAV's have started to gain popularity amongst the rank and file soldiers, allowing for adaption to new environments and situations with little more than several hours in the workshop and the right weapons and parts. Studies on these WAV's have begun both in Japan and the United states, although the latter has little need for such tools of war and so said studies are minimal at best. With the war between the Chinese Communist party (CCP) and the Kuomintang (KMT) still raging strong, Japan has turned it's attention to other parts of South east Asia, planning to let the Chinese wear themselves out on civil war before formally declaring war.
Overview: At the beginning of the RP, as with the invention and development of tanks, these WAV's would be rather primitive. Suspension on these vehicles would only minimal arms and armor such as smaller autocannons or a pair of mid-sized caliber cannons (similar to the main guns on a tank) to be installed. However they would still be highly dangerous and even (as time went on) go on to completely replace most tracked vehicles (save those whom serve logistical purposes). Whether or not the RP stayed in the '40s or evolved into later years (and as such, allowed new technologies) I haven't decided yet, although I do know that each nation would most likely favor certain concepts;weapons and tactics as they did with tanks during the second world war. would also have to decide if players act as each nation or as individual crews (as it wouldn't be operated by just one man)
Once I have all the above-mentioned fine details hammered out I'd have it opened up, a general template would then be provided (What parts/equipment must exist on the vehicle, what weight limits the suspensions can hold etc.) for which players could design their own WAV and go to war against their foes. For those of you who have played it, this idea stems from an old PS2 game, Ring of Red, for those of you not familiar with the game, I'd advise you to take a lookover as this would give you an idea on how such vehicles would be (more or less) set up.

I was hopeing that this RP could kinda be an ongoing one instead of having a dramatic end but im open to ideas. TG me if you got any advice on how to get this rolling, thanks.

The big, bad original Dice RP is back in town. Well, sort of. I made a new Dice RP much in the vein of the original with all the quirkiness and wackiness of A Tale of Luck and Chance. So, if you like Dice RPs and miss the good ol' days, then come on down. It'll be just like how you remember it but better. If you haven't played a Dice RP before and want to see what it's all about, then this is the perfect chance to get into it as nothing is better at showing you what they're all about than the original.
So, come join this exciting new (yet old) RP!

Ring of Red? Sounds more like an Xbox 360 game HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
*ahem*
Just gauging interest for a decent strategy RP. The few out there as of late are abysmal in their quality. Run by fools, joined by noobs... I really want to try and get a "strategy RP boot camp" RP up at this point, so as to re-educate the ignorant masses. Any interest from decent AWRPers who can help moderate?

lately, RP are mostly made by nations from 2013. So, as to speak, yeah, the quality is low.

Olthar wasn't lying. She didn't want to have to continue writing in your RP, but still wanted to put up her RP that she had been working on for a long time. And besides, running a Dce RP takes a lot less effort, once you finish drawing up all the maps.
