It roused itself and swept back a fiendish extremity, bitch slapping the girl into unconsciousness and thereby sparing her life. Not amused, it keened to the two who could see it, the silly twat has hidden cybernetics. Do you have any idea how much shit these people have protecting this damn apartment? Small whisps began to curl off the presence and it wheezed from pain.


Swith opened her eyes and groaned in discomfort. The girl's form shifted gently and her nose fractured.

"I don't alter timelines like everyone else," Swith explained hoarsely, "and don't ask me to explain why she went from near-death to her current state. I suggest we find a way to restrain her before she awakens." She wobbled over to the chair and sat down with a thwump, vowing to never try to break into the apartment from the outside.
