1. Ahh, one of my favorite works is Bridge to Terabithia. I am guessing many of us works in this manner, and are kings and queens of our own world! Yeah, that novel was pretty darn fun to read. :3 If you mean media in other forms, I listen to Michael Jackson A LOT as a kid!

I do not intend to finish PALISADE for something like a year, at the least, given that I've now got something like twelve different projects within it, varying from a PMC that's really just a dictatorship run off exporting mercenaries to a sharecropping state in spess that makes its profits off being the interplanetary equivalent of Sears-Roebuck to a psychopath with survivor's guilt ranting into the void about crisp white sheets nothing in particular to a college course of all things. Despite the fact it won't be finished for a while, though, I'm eager to use it in F7 threads given that I think some of the characters I've come up with for it are pretty out there and should be interesting to show, and I'm not really happy with leaving it in such a barebones state. If I get the first two nations done, or at least their leader factbooks done, I'll be happy. Also, I find it an appealing challenge to work with, both from a technical and a literary perspective. As I said above I intend to work more on KG once I've finished with FREERANGE and the PMC, then to return to PALISADE and work more on it.

None of my projects are ever done; I like to think of them as dynamic worlds, and as long as there's room to expand on them I'll have plans to do so. I've just gotten a little distracted by another project, is all.

Why did you choose your flag?

Well, I guess I just wanted to make one that combined classical Hittite iconography with Orthodox symbolism. Other than that, I just tried to make one that was a little more ornate than the ones I normally make, so I added the little crosses to each of the corners.

Yah, I guess I really do just like the boxy outline-thing? I think it's just a thing I do to fill empty space, and I think? it adds a more... banner -like appearance? If that's the right word... Honestly, it's probably just because that's the easiest shape to make even and symmetrical on Paint, since bars, crosses, and tri-colors are pretty hard (at least for me) to get just right.

Quarvian: Eh... I don't think I really have one. For either of your questions. Like, I can't settle on a "favorite" if I tried, and all my favorites are crapsack semi-dystopias no one in their right mind would ever want to live in. If that makes sense.

If I do decide to use a leader, they likely won't be a great figure as politics in Tohorin is set to be widely influenced by regionalism. Even a centralized religious figurehead and/or monarch would only serve as a spokesperson for a sort of confederacy or federation led by strongmen and landlords whom are kept at bay using a "constitution" in which they promise not to kill each other.

So yeah, at the moment, I'm just concerned with macro-scale worldbuilding. /SKIP ME

3. I checked them out, they have a really nice sound. It sounds more of a name a punk or hardcore band would have though which I find amusing.

About how much land does Dagine actually control? Also, how does its economy work on the international stage? Does it have access to many natural resources or is it mainly trade based? I assume the latter since it's mainly artificial islands. Finally, does Dagine have a proper defense force or does it rely on diplomacy to avoid conflict?
