Investing in wartorn areas is the best way to make allies, and prevent future political ailments. Good idea.

The Biscari Massacre in 1943, when US Soldiers opened fired on 71 Italians and 2 Germans, ended differently in Borgovia's universe. In this scenario, the United States only killed 2 Germans and 19 Italians. When nearby Borgovian troops heard gunfire, they rushed over thinking it's an enemy attack on the US-Borgovian base in Sicily. When they witnessed Italians getting killed, Borgovian troops tried to stop the Americans with General Vincente Estrada informing Patton of "needless blood lust towards an honorable, yet defeated enemy". Some Borgovian troops tried to cover the Italian POWs, and when Private Afonso Madureira was shot in the head trying to protect an Italian private, Borgovian troops, both Corpus "Private Arms" and Federal Troops, opened fire in what is seen as a small crossfire between two camps in heat. A total of 9 Americans and 7 Borgovians were hurt of which 3 Americans and 4 Borgovians died from their wounds, 2 Italians were shot but none were fatal in the crossfire.

Borgovians defended the Italians because in the 1940s, Italian-Borgovians make up the plurality of the population (29%) with Chinese, Spanish, French, Turkish, and Portuguese next in that order. Not to mention Borgovia see itself as the 'Fourth Rome' and has a strong affinity to Greece, Italy, Romania, France, Spain, Portugal, Latin America, etc the same way Americans & Brits have some respect for the Germans despite both nations being enemies. In fact, Borgovia tried to pull Spain (neutral but pro-Nazi), Romania, Japan, Thailand, and Italy from the Axis into the Allies since they refused to fight their former allies (Japan & Thailand who broke their Pacific Treaty with China and Vietnam) or "Cultural ancestors" (Romania, Italy, and Spain). Killing Nazis, Bulgarians, Finns, and Hungarians? Oh, they're all in, they'll party in the blood of whoever dare stand against the Fourth Rome. They'll backstab the Soviets and slaughter them too free of charge so long as Romania, Italy, Spain, Japan, and Thailand return to their embrace. It didn't happen, so all Borgovia can do is ensure not too much of Italy, Japan, Thailand, or Romania is destroyed.

Discussion between Borgovia and the United States closed the meetings with no repercussion on either camps.

I wouldn't blame you. It only makes sense to destroy those who stand in your way.

Since the world population is 36 billion in NT's AU, it's believable that there would be worldwide problems with food and clean water. This is actually not true, though this almost did happen in the late 1980s. To solve the problem of food scarcity, the Earth Nations(NT's AU equivalent of the UN) formed the EN Committee on Food & Clean Water Scarcity. To solve the problem of food scarcity, scientists from mostly Europe, Asia and North America developed new forms of wheat and rice that grow taller and produce many more grains. These wheat and rice plants can grow to around 2 meters tall. To solve the problem of water, the committee enacted funds for nations to build water purification plants, with the EN paying for up to 85% of the costs of building such plants. Many countries now had funding and resources to solve their food and water scarcity problems. By 1997, the problems of scarcity had been fixed, and the EN Committee on Food & Clean Water Scarcity was disbanded in 2009.

In 1964, the U.S. Supreme Court struck down all state laws banning interracial marriage in the Kattenby v. Delaware case. Back then, that state considered a marriage (granted in Las Palmeras) between a white man and one of our citizens to be illegal and it threatened the domestic arrangement of the Kattenby family, whose man came back to his country for a university job.

Despite it's huge impact in the USA, the case isn't seen as socially groundbreaking by current American liberals, as a major source of the legal victory was Dolores' supposed "whiteness": she had very pale skin and grey-colored eyes though she had other normal neko features (black hair, "somewhat slanted" eyes, sharp canines, the catlike-ears and a tail). Also, in contrast to previous cases over interracial marriages in the United States, the couple had a high social standing: Walter Kattenby was an academically-renowned archaeologist from a wealthy New England WASP (White Anglo-Saxon Protestant) family and Lady Dolores came from an impoverished but high-ranking aristocrat background.

In our universe, the IRL Australia is a nation called Athrenia, and it was colonised in the 1250s by a breakaway bunch of vikings from the North African homeland. They left seeking the Holy Land, realised that it didn't exist, and became a secular, multicultural, scandinavian liberal paradise. Kaedijork thus hates them, because Kaeds still think that they are inhabiting the holy land and are race traitors to the great Kaedish ethnicity by not believing. As such, there is an Israel-Palestine relationship between Athrenia and Kaedijork.

For context, the Holy Land is seen as the Apollus-on-earth, comparable to 'Heaven on Earth'. It is the land that the Sun God will descend to and create a worldly heaven for all whites and aryans in Ancient Kaedish scripture. The Holy Land originated as a concept when the nords basically got to North Afrika, started worshipping the Sun, and said "this desert is holy, but we must go hotter! The hotter the land the closer we are to the sun, and thus, the closer we are to Apollus."

The ship class itself comes in at 15600 meters long, and has a crew of about 9.8 million. In terms of on-board facilities, it offers full-scale hopsitals, hydroponic bays, small-towns, its own schooling system, and is comparable to an entire nation in terms of the services it offers. In terms of standardized armor protection, it makes use of an all-round total of 150 meters of Stellar-Titanium, of which 1 MM is equivalent to roughly 50 Meters of titanium- Or nearly ‭7,500,000‬ Meters of solid titanium, in equivalent. It also uses highly advanced shielding systems, which are capable of dissipating any energy-based attack... Which means that any attack ship? Will have to contend with it's incredible armor.

The spinal guns of the Fairfield are something to admire, by any measure. Twenty four guns- twelve of which run the length of the monstrous dreadnought. These twelve are 'conventional' planet crackers- Firing a monstrous 500 meter wide, 1500 meter long, shell at 45x FTL speeds. The material the shell are composed out of, Neutranium, had a density of 4555g/cm^3. The total weight is nearly 537,490,000,000‬ Metric Tonnes. The impact of one of these shells is nearly 1.63003e^24 Lbf- 528,208,396,347 Kilotons of TNT worth. One of these is enough to shatter a planet- Let alone 12.

Six more guns are heavy 'Valmir Principle' based weaponry- Capable of wiping out organic, and synthetic, life. These six guns fire energy at a ratio of 3.93003e^33 GigaWatts Per Second, each- Even one of these guns, let alone six, would be enough to swamp any kind of dreadnought of anything lesser than the Fairfield.

This is where the armament differed slightly more- Three guns were dedicated to anti-matter. Each one was terrifying capable- Parked far enough away, it would only take one gun to wipe out an entire sector of planets. The three guns, combined, could do enough damage to wipe out an entire galactic sector.

Then the final guns, the final three- They were specialized. Where-as all the other armament was non-tracking... The final three guns were miracles of engineering. Each one fired a so-called 'HyperFire' beam. The full damage of the final three guns had yet to be fully quantified- Nobody wants to unleash the monstrous guns at their full power. A single test firing, at 15% power, almost wiped out an entire galaxy. As such, guns are limited to 1-5% during combat firings- Which is rare. During, and after, firing, the energy composition of the shot can be modified, which allows the beam to 'turn'- In a massive degree. Unlike the limited 5-15 degrees that a conventional planet-cracker can turn. One of these shots, in tests, turned in a full 360 degree circle, and the rare combat-firing only confirms how terrifying these beams are.

In terms of other armament, the Fairfield makes use of it's quad-gun levels to octuple it's conventional gun-fire. Whereas a typical dreadnought of it's size would have 16, quad-barreled Cascade Guns- The Fairfield has over 100. Arrayed with 50 a side, the broadside firepower can decimate entire fleets. It's vast array of anti-frames, missiles, torpedo tubes, and electronic warfare systems also means it can hold off fleets.

In terms of speed, the Fairfield is also one of the fastest non-fighter craft in existence, with an average combat speed of 49.05% the speed of light- .0045% faster than many of it's counterparts.

Total production cost for a single Fairfield unit is 190,000,000 Trillion Stellar Credits- Or 15 times the amount of earth's yearly GDP.

Well, that's expensive. It's a spaceship that costs 15 times the Earth's daily GDP. What can I expect from a nation that spans multiple galaxies though?

The race that inhabited Earth before the current Era, Humanity, has surely impacted the modern livelihood of the world. However, the extent of the Human inpact of the planet goes much further than a majority of current day technology being inspired by Human technology, or just reverse-engineered.

The so-called Mega-Relics are just Human cities, settlements and villages that existed before or after the Great Decay. One of these Mega-Relics is the city of Colamba, in the ancient state of Ohaia, in the sole superpower of the Human world, the United States.

Other nations have their Mega-Relics, though, with Cesia being one of them. Vealia also has the most extensive array of Human technology, along with Londia and Fransa.

Ruins of past civilisations should at least scare your people the same way ruins of alien civilization should cause a scare of eventual human extinction being much nearer.

The fall of the Ottoman Empire in the 1920s was actually a horrendous event for many Slavic, Albanian, Azerbaijani, Kurdish, Yazidi, and Georgian minorities in Borgovia. In one post-war event, thousands to millions of Borgovians lost their rights overnight simply because they can no longer identify as "Ottoman-Borgovian" but rather as the aforementioned with only Armenians, Greeks, Arabs, Jews, and Turks being allowed to keep their "Civilised" racial caste. Overnight, marriages between a Turkish and Kurdish couples got annulled simply because marrying "subhumans" is illegal as it'll dilute the "genes of the civilised race".

Macedonians have to surrender their identity and be labeled as Greek, Albanians (with the help of the Japanese-Borgovian Corpus elite Nishimura) convinced the government they're Greco-Turks, Azerbaijanis identify themselves as Persians, and it was the Ethiopian-Borgovians that convinced the Corpus that Yazidis are a "Semitic Race" like the Mizrahi/Ashkenazi/Sephardi Jews or Arabs. Only then can those groups be later reclaim their former rights prior to the fall of the Ottoman Empire. Of all those groups, Albanians were the most privileged of the "ascended races" since they're the first, and a Corpus Board member who controls god-like influence over South America's media empires is married to an Albanian-Borgovian who taught mathematics. A practice of communal enclosure developed in Great Nortend from the 17th century, whereby the communal open fields of a manor were enclosed into individual farms, albeit still communally owned. These were allocated annually to the socagers of the manor, who thitherto had exercised the right of farming the communal fields in conjunction with the cottagers. Socagers still to-day are required to render a service to their lord, which may be in the form of labour on the lord’s fields, a fixed amount of produce or goods, or money payments.

Since enclosure, cottagers now are normally entitled to a percentage of the profits from the harvest, in return for their general labour on the fields, although as cottage tenure is not hereditary, entitlements can simply amount to a fixed 'wage'.

That is both fascinating and slightly ominous. I imagine being able to see anything would be tempting, but also be potentially annoying, like finding out your favorite show gets canceled after only one season, for example.

The Ormann is a gentle Arcadian herbivore, very similar to a cow, they even go moo. They have spread throughout the Empire, and are used as sources of meat and milk. Ormann can be easily distinguished from cows by the tiny tentacles which emerge from their mouths when feeding to more easily devour grass and herbs, and their unique defense mechanism; Ormann, to deal with Blacklight-enhanced predators, emit a very mild pheromone which calms and pacifies anything in the area, and some Imperial corporations have extracted these pheromones for use in stress relief products such as the painkiller Med-X. In addition, their milk has a mild calming effect, though this is removed from most milk before it is sold or used, though some brands retain this effect.
Ormann meat is a very common ingredient in Cybusian cuisine, all pheromones having been removed.

It definitely sounds like a very useful creature. Though its appearance is somewhat creepy, the pheromones it emits is most certainly something of great value. I can imagine it’s the most useful creature in the entire Empire.

It is roughly 85,000 strong and enjoys 3.5% of the government budget being allocated to its maintenance and development. I mean, it makes sense and all, with how massively conservatism, and nationalism, had caused... Well, quite the issue. But the sudden, and severe, socialist swing is rather abrupt- It does make sense, but so suddenly...? Somewhat terrifying.

The Concordat has long been a master of rapid deployment- Jump-drives let them deploy entire armies in mere hours, and re-locate entire frontlines in a day.

This drop, taking place from the depths of a MK-6 Troop Deployment Vessel, can deploy up to six infantry battalions in a single drop. Or two tank battalions, and four infantry battalions. Or three and three. Due to flying at heights of only 500 meters, it's shockingly hard to hit a TDV thundering by at Mach 30, and the air-to-ground time is incredibly short aswell. This makes a LAHO drop perfect for shock n' awe tactics. And when combined with formations, the drop-efficiency is essentially off the charts. Combined with the ability of an ODST drop, timed in perfect conjunction, you can overwhelm a hostile planet with more targeting signatures than any PDF can be expected to deal with in a short matter of minutes.

This gets even more terrifying when one properly weighs how many men a Battalion of infantry is- 800,000. A single TDV, dropping 6 full battalions, will drop 4,800,000‬ men in a single go. A full formation of 21, 41, 61, 81, and 101, can drop up to ‭100,800,000‬, ‭196,800,000‬, 292,800,000‬, 388,800,000‬, and ‭484,800,000‬ respectively... One can easily see why this massive rapid-deployment strategy is favored.

The fact that Dana Mercer, the Emperor's sister, likes her music a lot also helped increase her popularity in the Empire immensely.

One of the main things Kyria inherited from Old America is the veneration of the bald eagle. The bald eagle is not only the national animal, but its image is used in military and government logos and cultural iconography. It is also seen in a religious manner, with the Kyrian Phoenix being almost identical to the bald eagle.

Apart from a small number of religions (that, of course, have a large number of followers largely thanks to colonialism and imperialism), every religion believes that "other" gods can exist.
