The Security Council,
Chronicling the story of Gagium, a complicated nation that sprang into existence in 2017. They first entered The League & Concord in 2020 and later triumphantly returned in 2023. Concurrent to their return in 2023, they helped The League silence a former rival, the Federation of Conservative Nations,
Initially hopeful for this nation’s future as they began their modern career in 2022 by participating in the anti-fascist invasion of Confederacy of Layem as a precursor event to their journey back to The League & Concord, aiding in destroying the Republic’s longtime enemy,
Concerned that upon reentry to The League, Gagium was swiftly elevated to Director of Culture. It was from there they orchestrated the spread of neo-moralist thought to the populace of The League & Concord through several wicked carnivals both during and following their tenure as Director, including:
- Overseeing festivals for the eighth, ninth, and tenth anniversary of The League & Concord’s founding, celebrating their own draconian regime and eventual rule through various contests, events, and displays honoring their own cult of personality,
- Subjecting various citizens of nations in The League & Concord to gruesome “hunger games” events with intricate maps and treasures throughout the arena, pitting comrades against one another to fight for Gagium’s amusement,
- Waging unjust war during the nuclear apocalypse by organizing the Patriot Missile Alliance, a faction comprised only of The League & Concord, where Gagium forced residents to fight a doomed war on their behalf, rather than join a typical multi-region faction,
Nauseated by Gagium’s later ascension as Consul of the Republic in January 2025 following the resignation of Quebecshire. This enabled Gagium to become one of the regions’ heads of state, greatly increasing their influence on the world stage and tightening their grip on the region,
Dismayed by Gagium’s military exploits, subverting a Defender region into a brutal and efficient war machine. Gagium swept over numerous regions, earning themselves the censure of being named “Raider of the Year” by the international community as a result of their most high-profile crimes,
- Their infamy as “the Butcher of Frutiger,” planning, supervising, and executing The League’s Defense Forces’ occupation of the small Frontier, leading to it becoming a trophy possession of their Consulate,
- Decimation of New Welgard, which was used to train officers under Gagium’s tutelage in the practices of military cruelty,
Recoiling at the diplomatic trickery accomplished by Gagium on the Consulate, where they successfully deceived several regions into entering formal treaties and memoranda with their government, notably:
- The Treaty of Delvin-Paluri with Talonia, acquired through backdoor negotiations between Gagium and Moukden and Kirin enabled by their unique relationship, leading the regions to enter a formal alliance which would see two autocracies collaborate on draconian governance and anti-Sinkerite discrimination,
- Twice as Bright with The West Pacific, a region which itself includes many condemned nations, this alliance allowing both regions to continue to zealously advance the dismantling of the General Assembly,
- Their key role in the diplomatic conversion of (and eventual alliance with) Starlight & Horizon, emboldening the neo-moralist and national sovereigntist movements by strategizing with allies on how to bring the regime into the fold of the new world order,
Loathing Gagium’s despotic magnum opus in New United Kingdom, where they oversaw the largest Frontier annexation to-date. Shortly after retiring as WA Delegate of The League under the pretext of enlisting to defend innocent nations, they entered New United Kingdom as Adieux and were installed by the outgoing leadership as “Vice Delegate” to enforce the region’s annexation into Concord. There, they silenced opposition and ensured the conquest was completed, never facing trial for their crimes,
Horrified by Gagium's pivotal role in a constitutional crisis in The League & Concord in June of 2026 which threatened to tear the republic asunder. When Gagium and their co-conspirators in the rogue Consulate were deposed by the Committee to Preserve the Republic, it was thought that the world would be safe from Gagium's machinations,
Shocked that Gagium would once again trade allegiances, aiding the new government of The League & Concord in various intelligence pursuits. Their work aided the Consulate in zealously identifying information leaks, pursuing subversives abroad, and ultimately bringing a close to the June constitutional crisis via reunification with Eladria under a common Republic,
Surmising that this nation’s path tells a fascinating story worthy of recognition, and that a condemnation is the most fitting form to define their memory,
Hereby condemns [nation=long]Gagium[/nation].
