There have been at least two previous repeals of C&Cs for off-site behaviour that fell far below the standards acceptable to the community. So precedents have already been set.

Another explanation: Yohannes is a well-known figure in NS for more than a decade and has been commended for almost as long. If they see a "Repeal Commend Yohannes" in their SC queue, they're bound to ask why and get infolved.

That assumes the voter has the information at hand to vote and chooses not to vote. If I were uninformed and cannot reasonably get that information, I would rather not vote. Speaking up and acting on impulse is not always good, for who knows if you were mislead?
