Surprised and disappointed upon hearing recent news that the leaders of Yohannes, through their satellite nation of Isabella van der Feltz have committed grave offences resulting in their banishment from many regions.

I have a list of small corrections. Each clause doesn’t constitute a full sentence; they should end with commas or semicolons. Conversely, the final clause, with the “hereby repeals”, should end with a full stop, because it marks the end of the proposal. In the first clause, you are referencing the “nation of Yohannes”, so you should have “its diplomatic efforts” rather than “their diplomatic efforts”, referring to a single nation. It’s fine elsewhere, because you are referring to the “leaders of Yohannes”, which is plural. There should be “being revoked” rather than “revoked” in the third clause. I find the fifth clause a little unnecessary for my tastes, but it isn’t wrong, so that’s more of a personal preference.

I’m not aware of any details of what seems to have happened, but I can trust the judgements of those who have supported this repeal enough to do the same.

Not to start a threadjack, but do you have evidence that the claim is false? As to the main point I have been convinced by the replies as well as further conversation I had with Syberis privately, but I'm not seeing the reason to conclusively state that Yohannes' claim is a lie.

Abstain. I'm unaware of what this nation has done and I'm not about to vote in favor of this resolution because everyone else is privy to knowledge that I don't have. My own research hasn't discovered much, and since a moderator has previously removed posts discussing the allegations, I'm left clueless as to what these "grave offenses" are. I will change this if I'm able to find out more.

Until someone tells me what "unspeakable" evil this nation committed I will not be in support of this. It is against basic rights for people to punish him for things they do not know are true, let alone not know in general. Of course, if what they did does come to light, I will of course act accordingly but due to the current situation I cannot support this.
