As back-then Arbiter of The East Pacific, I want to point a paragraph that stands untrue:

"Interfering in The East Pacific’s judicial system in 2025, with the aim of protecting the political stature and Delegate candidacy of an entryist based in Lone Wolves United,"

If this point refers to Xoriet talking to Bachtendekuppen (which the prosecution used in the trial and inflated into foreign interference), here's a denying statement from Arbiter Bachtendekuppen who was the target of said "interference":

https://forum.theeastpacific.com/t/appe ... up/18869/7

Bachtendekuppen: "[...] While I did have a conversation with Xoriet during the trial period, the prosecution’s characterization of this (as an attempt to influence the outcome of the trial and to persuade me of the defendant’s character) overstates what occurred.[...]"

There's enough merit and the repeal is strong as it is, without the need to add falsified information - which has been debunked - into it.

The team on this is going to defer to AMOM, but two things in the meantime:

1. Thanks for waiting until after it was submitted after weeks to bring this up!

2. It’s incredibly naive to view Bach saying that as an exoneration of Xoriet’s actions. She discussed her decision to reach out to Bach in the Senate (as documented in my January 4 leaks), and she was attempting to persuade him of Jo’s respect to the GCRs. That’s clearly interference, that she didn’t explicit say it was doesn’t make it less so.

It does feel a little presumptuous to wait until the draft is submitted to post your concerns. I understand that not everybody has time to constantly check the SC forums, but Dmitri ran this thread on a normal drafting schedule. Those who want their input to affect the substance of drafts likely to pass ought to make a point of visiting the SC forums at least semi-regularly.

If we’re listing titles: as a current Arbiter and the current Viceroy of TEP’s court, and aside as an observer of the plainly obvious, I cannot imagine any universe where DMing a standing Arbiter for the first time in years to vouch for your LWU protege while he is on trial for treason in TEP is NOT “interference”, regardless of anyone’s official opinions expressed at the time. Opinions possibly expressed in order to protect court procedure from complete derailment, which may have been one of Xoriet’s goals when she perpetrated this action. It’s not “falsified”, it’s not “debunked” - this happened. And it’s worth mentioning in the repeal.

The Rogue Council Of Aristokuvaa speaks in unison

Our Rogue Nation, unfamiliar with the history here due to Our prolonged isolationist policy, has been enlightened over the course of this forum. Trusting in the good faith of the Assembly, its elected officials, and Our fellow Ambassadors, We accept the history and facts presented, and appalled by the behavior described therein must AGREE with and vote FOR this resolution; The such described Nation is no longer worthy of praise by this Assembly.

Highest seems to be 96.9% so far.

I offer my utmost support for this effort to repeal Commend Xoriet. In a perfect world, I would personally thank each and every person who has voted in favor of this resolution.

For far too long, we have all tolerated the intolerable: the idea that Xoriet is commendable. Almost all of us have a personal experience at this point. Here is mine.

On October 24, 2025, I was screamed at by Evil Wolf in the NPO’s Discord voice chat. Xoriet, Director of Community Moderation, briefly joined, left without intervening, and later returned an 15 minutes later only to shut down the call and accuse me of flaming a server member when I was, rather, calmly disagreeing with his points.

I was stripped of my Pacifican mask, lost voice chat privileges, and received a week-long timeout. Evil Wolf, meanwhile, retained his privileges for hours until I complained to Callisto about the disparity in treatment.

Although Evil Wolf was eventually banned following pressure from Lazarus, that ban was rescinded on December 26, 2025, shortly after Repeal Commend Evil Wolf passed the Security Council. Despite raising the matter directly with then-Emperor Syberis, Evil Wolf remains in the NPO’s Discord server to this day.

I also reject the suggestion that Xoriet’s position outside “NS Leadership” somehow exempts her from criticism. The NPO cannot exercise authority over NationStates players through its community officials and then invoke internal organizational distinctions to shield those officials from accountability. I am a NationStates player first and foremost, and I judge Xoriet by her conduct toward me and others in this community.

I reject the excuses, the shifting justifications, and the attempts to evade accountability. Commendation should mean something. I cannot accept that Xoriet’s conduct, both specified in this repeal and outside of matters of international policy, merits one, and I urge others to support its repeal.

Very Respectfully,
Domais

For. I'd add an "about time, too" if it weren't so overdue at this point.

Having been most active in Gameplay around the time when relations between The East Pacific and The West Pacific fractured, in no small part due to her actions, the only other thing I have to say is that I'm glad that TEP and TWP have since reconciled (including today's treaty!), undoing a lot of the damage that she has done to both regions.

Unless stated otherwise, nothing I say should be construed as being the opinion of The East Pacific.

First of all, I would like to thank those who have voted for the repeal of the Resolution. Without you, this would not have been possible
Secondly, I would like to thank my fellow co-authors Cretox, Feux, and Bran as well as the rest of the members of the drafting team, AMOM and Rhaza.
Their valuable assistance has certainly helped me to polish my initial draft into the version that was passed in the Security Council.

Now, for those who may know my history. Why did I, a former Senator and native of the Pacific chose to push my efforts in repealing Xoriet's Commendation?
It is simple; Xoriet's actions have shown that not only did she lie to me, but to many others as well throughout her career.
She was once a person that I saw as one of my mentors in this game, and to see the revelations that shows her actions as someone that is not trustworthy, was something that never sat right with me.
I may not be able to change the past, but I can most certainly change my future, and repealing the commendation of someone I used to trust was one of the things I can control, and I have the voters and the drafting team to thank for this.

I chose to reject being someone else's flower that is grown only for someone else's nourishment. I refuse to take part in their Scarlet Letter, I am no longer your puppet, and I am done giving my consent to their mistakes.

This verdict of over 10,000 voters is unanimous; her behaviour is not deserving of being recognised by the World Assembly.
