The unsteady ceasefire in effect in China was yet again put to risk today as the Three Rings Army (Chinese: 三環軍, san huan chun) set to storm the city of Kweiyang. Hsiuyang Chiang led his forces, more than 32,000 strong, directly towards the city from the north, hoping to overwhelm its defenses. The Self-Defense League (Chinese: 自衛聯盟, Suwei lianmeng) militia present in the city put up more resistance than he expected, using recently-purchased American M777 howitzers to deadly effect, killing nearly 1,600 before the attacking forces were routed and withdrew to the countryside. Hsiuyang Chiang was found among the dead and dying bodies of the attackers by SDL trooper sergeant Hsuegang Shen during post-battle mop up operations, who proceeded to finish him off with a bullet to the back of the head. "A mercy kill", Shen assured, a claim that this reporter is willing to believe, having seen photos of the late warlord's condition before his untimely death.

Kweiyang, the largest city capital of the province of Kweichow, has been held by the government of China since the 2016 Southwest Offensive led by the former Imperial government dislodged Chiang's Three Rings Army from that province, and had been repeatedly contested by the aforementioned warlord, suspected to be armed and equipped by the Russian Union State, to no avail. This attack comes in violation of a general ceasefire declared by most Chinese warlords -Chiang included- upon the declaration of war on Japan by the coalition of cliques that made Free China. Though it was meant to remain in effect only until Chinese liberation, there had been no major violation of the ceasefire even after March 2022. Chinese president Guanyu Duan has condemned the Three Rings Army for this "gross violation of the spirit of the ceasefire". Negotiations to reintegrate the many regional cliques back into the United Provinces has been ongoing since March 18.

Divouga, Guadalupador- Following several high-profile departures, the Boycott, Divestment and Sanction campaign against Janpia seems doomed to fail. A campaign started by the Marajarbian Federation to politically persuade Janpia and by extension, the Kalisight Treaty Organization into dropping sanctions against it. Initially it found support among six signatories, all of them allies of the Marajarbian Federation, but over the course of several weeks the signatories gradually left the campaign leaving as of the writing this article three signatories not including Marajarbia. On the contrary, the Marajarbian Federation's and UADC's international unpopularity has earned the Reichstadt Treaty Coalition many more supporters including alleged unofficial support from Guadalupador itself, one of the first countries to enact interdiction orders against GENA/UADC flagged ships in territorial waters.
The UADC is in a similar state of collapse as is described by some analysts through its sheer inaction in aiding one of its member-states, Muqaddasia. Following the preemptive defensive action against the Muqaddasi Navy near Yugova Island, an unrelated coalition of nations known as the Western Entente began a military campaign against the Medinaist Republic of Muqaddasia. The nations cited deep and severe grievances as to their justification for invading Muqaddasia. UADC has been paralyzed by inaction on the issue of the invasion of Muqaddasia as the Marajarbian Federation as of the time of writing this article refuses to send any significant aid to Muqaddasia, nor are there any real discussions within the decision-making body of the UADC as a motion to discuss the issue is not making any headway.

Liberal Party Candidate Iago Íase and People's Forum Candidate Silvia Rothrigese

Ahebre candidate Iago Íase will face the TP's Silvia Rothrigese in a presidential run-off on September 19 after leading the first round on Monday with 32.2% of the vote, ahead of Rothrigese (29.1%) and third placed Elias Conçalose (27.4), according to exit polls. Some 118.8 million voters were called to the polls for Monday's first round. By 5pm, 74 percent of registered voters had cast a ballot, down 3.2 points on the previous election in 2017. 5 candidates from left to right were on the ballot for the first round. The two finalists will vie for Scotatrova's top job in two weeks' time, on September 19. Íase and Rothrigese's strong showing on Monday, which saw an approximately 68% voter turnout (lower than the 77% who voted in the first round in 2017), signaled a rebuke of the political establishment that has dominated Scotatrovian politics in recent years. It is the first time since 2002 and 1997 that an Ahebre candidate and female candidate respectively qualify to the second round runoff. Despite the popularity of outgoing President Gavriel Marquesa, his party's (HEIS) candidate, Elias Conçalose, couldn't pull through as his last-minute surge in the polls wasn’t enough to propel him to the second round, he still managed to claim 27.4 percent of the vote. Conçalose enjoyed a comfortable lead early on in his campaign, but support wavered after his candidacy was embroiled by allegations he misused public funds to pay family members for parliamentary work they are alleged not to have performed. Conçalose denied any wrongdoing, although the launch of a formal investigation into him prompted several of his allies to quit his campaign.

The Quomuniste and Equioloquie Cristiane candidates Xavier Stevase and Xerarthe Ramon came in last of the main contenders, each winning 7.2% and 4.1% of the vote respectively. The advancement of Íase and Rothrigese will certainly have an impact on their ability to govern once they make it into the presidential palace. In October, about one month after the presidential contest, Scotatrovian voters will return to the polls to elect members of Parliament as the first round of legislative elections will commence on October 3, along with gubernatorial elections, and many state and local elections. This election is particularly important because whoever becomes President almost always comes from the party that controls Parliament and, at present, HEIS commands a plurality with 184 seats across both houses of Parliament. Íase and Rothrigese now have two weeks ahead of the runoff to court the voters who backed their former competitors, as well as the estimated one-fourth of Scotatrovian voters who are still undecided. Issues such as national security, further European integration and the economy will likely remain at the forefront of the contest.

Certification of the results of the Presidential Election
Today, the Ministry of Elections of The Federation of The Omahan States, as well as the Legislatures of all 14 states and republics, have officialized the results of the 2022 Omahan Statesian Presidential Election, where Natalia Poklonskaya 'survived' the first round with 50.08% of the vote, meaning that a second round will not be occuring. Here are the results:

Natalia Poklonskaya won 50.08% of the votes, Amber Heard won 23.79% of the votes, Brian Roberts won 10.96% of the votes, Chloé Amalie Dubois won 4.62% of the votes, Jonas Kiminijinai won 2.50% of the votes, Jiminjingi Batulijanjiomin won 2.20% of the votes, Michael R. Socialist Federal Republic of the Aquaria An Open Letter to the Former Democratic Federal Republic of Aursi To whom it may concern, Regarding the recent statement made by President Ariza Inshirah regarding her recent decision to restore the monarchy, posing as the new monarch of Aursi, the Federal Government of Aquaria would like to express their concern over the political situation in Aursi, or should we say, concerned about the restoration of a dictatorship. We would like to inform the Aursian government that it is unacceptable for a monarchy to reappear and bind the Aursian people. While according to the Aursian Times, the decision is made through a referendum, where all citizens are allowed to vote, the result is still quite unknown if valid, due to a lack of data on the number of people who voted, where are all the districts holding the vote, and most importantly, what is your definition of people. The number of people who participated in the referendum is not enough to represent the entire population of 80 million Aursians, which means that the referendum is not organized according to the will of the people. If the government does not have sufficient evidence of the validity of the referendum, the Aquaria, or in the worst case, all member countries of the Kalisight Treaty Organization, may take action regarding the restoration of the Aursian monarchy which is proved as an anti-democracy action. According to the Treaty of Aurtumn, which was the treaty signed by the representative of the Marajarbian Federation, the Medinanist Republic of Muqaddasia, the Janpian United Revolutionary States, the Socialist Federative Republic of Aquaria, and finally Aursi under a temporary government, Aursi shall never be an absolute monarchy again, nor a one-party state or a dictatorship. While the creation of a constitutional monarchy with a democratic parliament may not be against the treaty, the creation of an absolute monarchy will be against it. The Aquaria would continue to observe whether the human rights and political rights of the people in Aursi deteriorate due to the restoration of the monarchy. At that time, we can say with certainty that the Aursian government has offended article 5 of the Treaty of Aurtumn for being a dictatorship, which may cause an intervention on the matter. HEATED ARGUMENT IN THE FEDERATED LEGISLATURE OVER MILITARY USE

The 68^th session of the year for the 3^rd Legislatuive Assembly of The Federated Legislature of The Federation of The Omahan States. it is the first to include members of the newly admitted state of Omahan Bigtopia.

Tensions have been flaring between the members of the legislature and President Natalia Poklonskaya over the continued use for over 3 months of The Armed Forces of The Federation of The Omahan States. Conflicts have included: War in Bigtopia, Ngai Quyhni-Blackacran War, and the intervention in the Blackacran civil war. President Poklonskaya was seeking the approval of The Federated Legislature to send The Ground Forces of The Federation of The Omahan States into Lilliputia, to help ally Smalltopia. The President has sent The Naval and Aereal Forces to both interventions, as well as The Special Operations Authority of The Federation of The Omahan States.

The President asked for the approval of the use of the main forces, justifying it by saying "The Federation of The Omahan States has a duty of defending the interests that it has. Such include the liberty of other nations, elimination of threats, and defending our allies". She had an exchange with the leader of the Liberation Party, Chloé Amalie Dubois, which said "this use of military force has led to many crises in other nations, because of presidential ambitions". Poklonskaya further added, "we have fought for this nation, we have to stay together as one!".

Long time no see readers! On a normal day, I would've talked about International Incidents, National Informations, Political Scandals and everything like that. But today, today is no normal day. Aursi might have to experience what it had experienced earlier. Pain, Suffering. Aursi has been invaded by the KTO. Led by the Aquarians. Let me explain how everything happened.

Few days earlier, the Aquarian Government expressed concern over the legality of the Monarchist Referendum and the establishment of the Crown. Their main claims were, Aursi was becoming a dictatorship, it was breaking the Treaty of Aurtumn, Aursi was frauding elections and what not.

As many of you can understand, all of this is nothing but rubbish. Aursi wasn't breaking the Treaty of Aurtumn in any sort of way. The treaty said that after the war, Aursi wouldn't be influenced by any other nation. The Treaty of Aurtumn prohibited the creation of an 'Absolute Monarchy'. And did we do that? Absolutely not. They said, we were becoming a Dictatorship, well, I don't understand in which dictatorship the queen has no power and the Democratic, elected Parliament rules. But still, Aursi gave a Calm answer to those damn Aquarians.

2 days ago, The Aquarian Government published an ultimatum saying, if Her Majesty Queen Ariza Inshirah I doesn't step down and abolish the monarchy within 48 hours, KTO will be forced to take a Military step. Aursi became based. They denied the ultimatum and said, we will go to war if necessary. The Aursian Military even started to mobilize. I along with many Aursians thought that, Those bastards are too big of a Coward and Stupid to invade.

But today morning, many ships of KTO allies were seen leaving their ports, which is a hint towards an imminent invasion. There also has been rumors that the Aquarian Government has called the Aursian Ambassador to The Aquaria, Ms. Apu Valo. The whole world now knows about the invasion. Aursi has been invaded.

My opinion? I believe Aursi has the capability to win a war. We just need an incredible mindset and moral support from the Public. We can win, We will win.

Outgoing House Majority Leader Björnsdóttir condemns Baku for recent Azerbaijan-Armenia border skirmishes

EREVAN - Imperial House of Representatives Speaker Ingrid Björnsdóttir on Sunday strongly condemned what she said were 'the most unlawful of' border attacks by Azerbaijan on Armenia, using a visit to the long-since Russian puppet to pledge American support for its sovereignty. Björnsdóttir's controversial visit to Armenia has been used to strengthen ties between Erevan and Washington. Speaking in the ancient city of Erevan, Björnsdóttir said her visit had significance following "the deadly, most unlawful of attacks by the Baku Clique on Armenian soil", a conflict that began earlier in 2021 when Azeri National Army soldiers invaded and occupied the disputed territory of Artsakh, a region with an Armenian majority that Baku lays a claim on. The most recent of these clashes occurred two weeks ago, in which more 19 soldiers, 18 of them from Baku, were killed. "The nation I speak for strongly condemns these attacks," Björnsdóttir said besides Armenian PM Mourad Ardashessian who last week expressed unhappiness with the Russian response to Erevan's request for help. Björnsdóttir, who had angered Japan with a trip to Korea and celebrating the 'proud Korean nation and people', said it was clear that "any conflict between Erevan and Baku is by its nature Baku's fault, and there must be recognition of that."

Björnsdóttir's visit and remarks drew a strong rebuke from Baku. "These unsubstantiated and unfair accusations levelled by that bitch are unacceptable," an official statement from the Azeri Foreign Ministry states, "it is a serious blow to the efforts to bring peace to the war-torn lands of Western Caucasus, and the relations of our proud nation and those American dogs." Later, Baku summoned Hrodbert Baldwinsson May, the American minister plenipotentiary to Azerbaijan. Though the Imperial State Department has held Azerbaijan to have sole responsibility towards the ongoing conflict since the Artsakh War of 2021, the House Speaker's condemnation is the strongest made by any American official yet. The most recent escalation of the conflict began when Azerbaijan shelled twelve Armenian border towns shortly after the midnight of Sep 13. Though most Azeri drones were shot down by Armenian air force, the large caliber guns claimed 3 civilian lives. In response, Armenia deployed troops to the border, leading to the current border skirmishes.

Russia, which had repeatedly condemned Björnsdóttir's visit to Korea, considers the Caucasus to be 'its very backyard' and bristles at what it casts as American meddling in the region. However, despite being Armenia's largest ally and long considered its de facto master, Russia's response to the current border skirmishes, as well as the earlier Artsakh War, were 'completely lackluster'. Despite having a major base in northern Armenia, when Armenia appealed for help in Sep 13, Russia decided only to send a monitoring mission, leading to PM Ardashessian's dissatisfaction and request for a visit by American officials. Several other Parliamentarians, including Matteos Sarkissian and several other Armenian-American House Representatives, have also said America must do 'whatever it can' to be more supportive of Armenia's plights and combat Azeri encroachment in the region. The Empire, Björnsdóttir said, listens to Armenia about what its defense needs are, and wishes to help where possible. She further said "It is interesting that they asked their so-called ally for help and all they got from that relationship was monitors there to see what Azerbaijan will do, rather than the protection they clearly need. We have to see what happens next."

CERTIFIED RESULTS OF THE LEGISLATIVE ELECTIONS OF THE FEDERATED LEGISLATURE

The Election of The New Legislative Assembly Features the addition of Omahan Bigtopia, which allocated an additional 104 out of the new 105 seats in Parliament. The Confederationist Party of Natalia Poklonskaya gained majority again, but it formed a coalition with The Libertarian Party to achieve the 353 seat majority threshold. The New Assembly will elect leadership in a few hours.

As voters chose the President again, voters also participated in local and Federal Legislative elections, where the governing party gained 179 seats, and came back to power.
President Natalia Poklonskaya has stated,

We have achieved the majority Omahan Statesians wanted, and my government will work for the improvement of conditions in Omaha. Our focus is always the Omahan Statesian, so the party platform will be: (1) reducing taxes, (2) securing the security of the nation abroad, (3) ending all active military conflicts, and (4) providing a better nation for all Omahan Statesians.

The Ministry of Elections of The Federation of The Omahan States has released a seat share of all the states and republics, as according to the constitution. Each member represents 4,838,612 Omahan Statesians.

STUNNING TURN OF EVENTS AS NEW PRESIDENT OF THE FEDERATED LEGISLATURE IS ELECTED




As The Federated Legislature gathered to elect a new President, a message has been sent to President Poklonskaya over the fight about the use of the military.
The Federated Legislature was expected to vote Diana Morant, a close friend of Natalia Poklonskaya, as President of The Federated Legislature of The Federation of The Omahan States, for the second time. The Legislators instead voted for fellow Confederationist Josh Hawley, of George. The Narrow vote proved a surprise, but the most surprising factor is that 250 out of the 344 members of the Confederationist Party voted for Hawley, compared to 144 for Morant.

New Names for Government Institutions?

CALOMARDE - New year new changes! After the seventh Committee of Representatives assemble since the government is formed for a new mandate, President Felicity Silvestri tasked the Committee to start a referendum in following days about the changes in names of the government institutions. "We are moving forward into the future and out institution names are severely outdated compared to other nations. Its not an easy change to make but we need to adapt out lexicon to the times we live in." said President Silvestri while talking about the referendum suggestion.

To change names of institutions is not just the effort of all departments to make new plates but all the documents that are currently in circulation to change names too which would require to pull away all the documents, not just government ones but all personal as well as we for sure wouldn't like to have "Chamber of Travel" on our passports if the new name might be "Department of Travel and Infrastructure". On the bright side the name change might solidify the usage of domestic lexicon and ideological closeness to what people feel and our institutions provide out identification documents for me. However, we can't but wonder if the name changes are really necessary in the gram scheme of things?

INTERVIEW WITH PRESIDENT POKLONSKAYA ABOUT CURRENT ISSUES

President Natalia Poklonskaya met with Minister of State News and Bulletins Jennifer Psaki

Good to meet with you President Poklonskaya. Today there have arisen a few situations that your government is taking care of. First is the protests in The Temporary Occupation Zone of Blackacre by The Federation of The Omahan States; Second is the deadlock in the Federated Legislature over military action. How are you planning to address these issues?

To address the first issue. I have met with the leaders of the coalition which constitutes the government, and we have come up with the following: We will be holding an election in The temporary Occupied Territories of Blackacre to establish what the popular opinion is: do they want to re-join Blackacre, do they want to be independent, or do they want to join The Federation of The Omahan States. We discussed these various options to the fullest extent, and we have considered all options available since we have established military bases in the Elviran Islands. The elections would take place within the archipielago we have occupied, as well as parts of the territory claimed by Ngai Quyhn, since there has been a resistance to the integration. I can assure every Omahan Statesian, that our efforts made in the Elviran Islands will be accomplished, even if we have to recognize them as another country.
On the second issue. I have addressed the leaderships of the government and opposition, and we are close to making a deal. I have defended the use of Omahan Statesian troops which have: (1) guaranteed the safety of the sea access by The Federation of The Omahan States; (2) adding Omahan Bigtopia into The Federation of The Omahan States. We have also created the Oceanic Alliance of Nations, which has ensured the security of our area. Current military conflicts with Omahan Statesian troops include: The Civil War in Blackacre, and The Smalltopian-Lilliputian border conflict, in which we have intervened due to the explosion in Omaha by the Lilliputian Freedom Fighters. I have assured the Federated Legislature that once these conflicts are over, we will reduce the frequency of military use.

Psaki further asked:

What is your plan for the economy amid sanctions from The United States of Aaral? They announced sanctions following militarty action in Lilliputia. Do you think that is why the Legislative Assembly wants to limit military action?

Poklonskaya replied:

Well, the sanctions imposed by our largest vehicle trade partner has affected the automobile manufacturing industry, but not too much. With projects to revitalize roads, infrastructure, and other projects we have been able to make up for these losses, and now Omahan Statesians make more money after taxes than before. OMAHAN STATESIANS VOTE TO BECOME KINGDOM

After Joint Resolution 1 of the 4th Legislative Assembly of The Federated Legislature, the legislature approved a referendum asking Omahan Statesians two questions on whether The Omahan States should become a Kingdom.
Voters were faced with the following questions:

Question 1: Should the Federation of The Omahan States adopt a Monarchy system?

Question 2: Should President Natalia V. Poklonskaya become the Monarch of The Omahan States, shall question 1 be accepted?

This comes after discussions on what to do regarding the military situation in Blackacre, and Lilliputia, since it was argued that because of the Federated system, some representatives of each state threatened to move a vote to change the system, preferrably to allow some states more autonomy.

Question 2: Should President Natalia V. Poklonskaya become the Monarch of The Omahan States, shall question 1 be accepted?

Voting was seen in surprising proportions. Question 1 received overwhelming support, with a 272,757,648 yes-no vote difference. Question 2 on the other hand showed a more close result, suggesting that many Omahan Statesians did not support President Natalia Poklonskaya in what was her fourth general election; it had a a 56,180,336 yes-no vote difference. The Republic of Vominjin had the most astounding vote result, as it had a 99.58% voter turnout, and it reported: Question 1: 3% yes, 97% no; Question 2; 0.98% yes, 99.02% no.

Joint Resolution 1 includes the procedures should the questions be approved. The Federation of The Omahan States has to change its name to The Kingdom of The Omahan States. President Natalia Poklonskaya will now become Queen Natalia Poklonskaya, which will have absolute powers over the government and foreign relations. The Federated Legislature will remain, and will have the same functions as have been prescribed in the Constitution. The main difference in this change is that Natalia Poklonskaya will have the position without the need for re-election, and the Presdient of The Federated Legislature will have the responsibilities to notify the Monarch of all law changes, which the Monarch can accept or deny into law.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has to notify all nations dealing with The Omahan States of the change.

Long ago, there was an Aursian Civil War. It was among the most horrifying wars in human history. People claim that the conflict in Gyzantia was extremely awful, however, the Aursian Civil War, which is frequently contrasted with the Tzakistani Civil War, was significantly more horrific. There were numerous ups and downs during the week-long negotiation. When a settlement was finally made, Janpia then vowed to initiate a nuclear war. It is, however, a thing of the past. but something similar occurred just recently. Many have dubbed the invasion by the Kalisight Treaty Organization as the "Illegal Invasion of Aursi." Aursi and their allies won this battle and began the bargaining. However, despite the fact that the negotiations lasted for a week, they went far more smoothly because of shared perspectives and KTO's disadvantages. Authorities have kept the Treaty a secret for unknown reasons. The Temporary Chancellor Serik Ulyanov proclaimed this to be the start of the Second Aursian Era (2AE). He stated, "A provision in the treaty states that the monarchy would be restored and will be headed by the former princess and current queen Mrinmoy because she was the rightful heir to the throne prior to the monarchy's abolition. The new Chancellor election will take place very shortly. I'm grateful." We'll have to wait and watch how this choice plays out, even though Mrinmoy enjoys strong public support.

Princess Mrinmoy became Queen with Prince Sanehito of Nifon set to become King-Consort and Duke of Aursi City after the Treaty Negotiation ended and All nations agreed to set up a Constitutional Monarchy. Rumors say KTO agreed due to a Nifonese becoming King-Consort. This is being celebrated as the start of the 2nd Aursian Era (2AE).

Previously, Aursi was a third-world nation ruled by the ruthless tyrant Fiedro Chatista, who had little interest in seeing the country progress. However, after Aursia staged the Coup of the Century and became the Empress of Aursi, the situation significantly improved. It realized its capacity. The monarchy had to be overthrown after it was decimated by a civil war that was fueled by several countries throughout the world. There was a time when the country was a republic, but the present Queen Mother Ariza Inshirah restored the monarchy after that. But shortly thereafter, the Kalisight Treaty Organization, or KTO for short, launched an invasion known as the "Illegal Invasion of Aursi." Ariza Inshirah committed suicide as a result, hurting Aursi. But after some discussion, everyone decided to restore a constitutional monarchy, which was presided over by Princess Mrinmoy, who was then the heir apparent, and Prince of Nifon Sanehito. The King-Consort of Aursi and Duke of Aursi City is now Prince Sanehito of Nifon and Princess Mrinmoy is now the Queen of Aursi. Later, Princess Mrinmoy declared, "I will dedicate my life to the service of Aursi and I will create Aursi the most prosperous nation in the world."

The Negotiations between the participants of the war and Aursi ended yesterday, so the election was held. The elections were a close one, but Drew Tate became the next Chancellor with a vote of 51%. Serik Ulyanov had a vote of 45% while Jacob Detterson and Voladimir Kormiya received 3% and 1% votes respectively. Here shown in a chart-

The elections this era, weren't like the other ones. Previously, the United Aursian Party dominated under Aursia. Then the other candidates from UAP also dominated due to no good competitors coming from the Aursian Communist Party and the Aursian Democratic Party. But this year, a new party was formed by popular celebrity Drew Tate. His party quickly gained the supports of male people. The votes were very clear among demographics. The Liberal Party led by Drew Tate almost had a 100% vote from male people, and the UAP almost had a 100% female voters. This type of thing to happen was expected by many intellient people. This diversity was shown from an online video where a couple was featured. The man said they will vote for Tate whereas his partner said she would vote for Serik Ulyanov. Serik Ulyanov would later say, “I don't know how this happened. But this happened, I don't have anything to do. Whoever the people choose.” before resigning as the Leader of the United Aursian Party. This has created a gap which will most likely be replaced by Aursia until a person fit enough is chosen to be the next leader. The Communist Party leader, Voladimir Kormiya said, “The pepol uf Aursi heb ben brenoased bai dos baafuns. Ve heb tu restablesh da dictetursip uf da pruletariet.” Jacob Detterson, leader of the Aursian Democratic Party wished to remain silent, although it is rumored that he is thinking about resigning or has already resigned. After all of this, Drew Tate gave his speech to the Aursian People.

Huge Native Island Discovered!

Aursi has always witnessed other countries exploring new territory. Aursi, however, was unable to do so. But yesterday Aursi found in the Aursian Sea a gigantic island, about the size of Madagascar. Because Aursi has a powerful navy and frequently conducts patrols across the Aursian Sea, this is shocking. The primary account of a crash was given by a survivor. When a violent storm struck and left them stranded on an island, about 45 people were cruising through the sea. Despite having weapons, the waves washed them away. Natives from the forest would emerge and attempt to kill them. On the island, 39 of them have been verified dead, and 3 more were killed on the way back by the barbaric throwing of stones. President Felicity Silvestri Passed Away

CALOMARDE - After being rushed to the Federal Hospital of Equai two days earlier following president Silvetri's sudden collapse during the 6th Congress of the Committee of Representatives. Second Round of Presidential Debates Take Place, Smith to Win Second Term?

RIVERFORT - The second round of presidential debates took place throughout the afternoon between the 4 presidential candidates, namely the incumbent Smith, and the opponents Castor Kwong from the Sovereigns, Raymond Hwang from the Liberals and Junius Ho from the Nationals. Of which, Smith and Kwong are predicted to take the biggest shares of the votes, taking 38.4% and 34.7% in the first round respectively. Smith's support grew slightly from 37.9%, but so did Kwong from 34.0%.

The debate began with a question on water security for the nation. Smith started with a call to introduce more desalination as a long-term solution, while offering water rationing, import with nearby nations and increased proliferation of saltwater flushing as short-term solutions. This was mostly agreed by Hwang, who also offered a plan to introduce a water footprint system.

Meanwhile, Kwong and Ho had differing opinons. Kwong argues that Nacrad need not worry as well drilling and cloud seeding ought to alleviate the issue, and that importing water from neighbouring nations or Indochina is "not far from our reaches", while Ho reiterates that the water shortage is not a problem at this stage, and that farming applications should be prioritised over industrial ones.

Smith, meanwhile, reiterated the rate of which the youth report difficulty in finding accommodation and the home dwelling rate, both of which was lowered. Smith used such data to demonstrate that the policy helps increase social mobility, especially in developing areas like Kongsi. The policy was then recommended to stay as-is. Smith rebutted Ho's accusation, and claimed that Ho was being "a xenophobic homophobe", further reiterating that public housing is a way for rural youth to move to somewhere closer to job opportunities and to better their village. Meanwhile, Hwang declined to speak. Smith also argued against Kwong's accusation of inexperience, and claimed that "an engineer can contribute to society in ways more than one - unlike your degrees in social science and law".

The final highlight of of the debate is a question raised by a member of the audience on the Pride Month Shooting in the University of Nacrad in June. While Smith and Hwang are shared in their expression of grief and support for the students and lecturer, and gave similar comments as to the state of inclusion in the nation namely the difference between the Pearl River Delta core and the outlying states, Ho and Kwong once again disagree.

Kwong took a more neutral stance, and while condemning the shooters and expressing grief for the injured and killed, he also condemned the WTA members who retrieved firearms and shot back. He claims that "some members of the LGBTQ+ community take it one step too far" and "try to shove it down people's throats - that's why some people lost it". Meanwhile, Ho claims that "the lecurers and students deserve it", elaborating that "the LGBT is a filthy community that should not exist... they are an abomination in Nacrad."

Post-debate polling indicates that, out of Smith (SDL), Kwong (Sovereign), Hwang (Liberal) and Ho (National), the first-round vote rates are 38.4%, 34.7%, 18.7% and 8.2% respectively, while the runoff rounds place Smith at 52-58% of the total vote, earning a second term in office if ratios remain roughly the same.

UNIVERSITY OF NACRAD - A Transgender Day of Rememberance gathering held by the Queer and Sexuality Alliance (QSA) with collaboration with the University of Nacrad's Student Union was disrupted when a gunman opened fire from the nearby Wong Chong Lai Wah Building. The assailiant is believed to act alone, but had been radicalised by online groups. He admits to be associated with the same group that the shooting at Colorado Springs' queer club is instigated by.

The TDOR gathering had been held as a continuous basis between 2 pm and 7 pm Nacradian time, which is designed to cater to most students' on-campus schedules. Events such as speeches, sharing sessions and performances were held, including a sharing from professor Ramona Pagilawan who was injured at the earlier school shooting in early June and was left unharmed this time. Reportedly, at around 3:30 pm Nacrad Standard Time, gunshots were heard during a band performance towards the crowd that had gathered in the square, spilling out onto University Street and Millenium Street which were major pedestrian throughfares in the campus.

"I thought those were drums and I didn't run until people started dropping next to me," said Phoebe Yeung, a student in law. Police were called first at 3:31, stating that "gunshots are heard, probably from a building", and a call about 40 seconds later confirmed it to be on the 4th floor of Wong Chong Lai Wah Complex. According to police reports, the assailant who carried an AR-15 and 239 rounds of ammunition was reached at room 409 of the complex at 3:42 pm, who surrendered without resistance.

The arrested, who claims to be an unemployed alumni of the University of Nacrad, is identified as Samuel Kwong. He admits to illegally importing his firearms and ammunition, and that he has been inspired by the various acts of mass shooting against LGBTQ+ people compounded with his desire to "take out the trash" of his alma matar. He further admits that he had talked with the assailant of the Colorado Springs shooting through online media and coordinated their attacks on similar dates.

Reportedly, the campus police which had been stationed in light of the previous shooting fired back, but were unable to hit the assailant. One police member was killed. The campus security unit expressed "profound disappointment" in their failure to stop the assailant, who admitted to smuggling a deconstructed AR-15 and ammunition in his backpack, from being able to set up his vantage point. The campus police pledged to improve security and screening methods around "gatherings of politicised groups".

The injured were transported to the nearby King Edward VII Hospital. As of writing this article, 3 were in critical condition but the rest are in stable condition.

During the final Presidential debates in Chinese University Riverfort, the topic was brought up and a minute of silence was observed. When asked to give an opinion, all candidates expressed their condolences towards those who are injured or died, with Smith calling for better education as a long-term solution. However, Junius Ho from the National Party, in much controversy, stated that "As much as I offer my condolences, they [those gathering for TDOR] shouldn't shove this ideology down students' throats... They should know where they belong, namely the closet, and not the very middle of the campus". The QSA and the Committee of Gender Equality and Diversity both lodged their strongest condemnation against Ho.
