Alatoma has five political parties, with the largest two splitting 75% of the house, currently. The two major parties are the Conservative Party (Right Leaning) with 45% of the house and the Worker's Party (Left-Leaning) having 30% of the house. The minor parties are the Founders' Party (Libertarian) with 15% of the house, the Welfare Party (Socialist) with 5% of the house, and the People's Party (Apolitical) with 5%. The People's Party calls for citizens to ignore party lines and vote on each issue individually.

Lancov has a multi-party system. The Liberal Party, Progressive-Conservative Party, and the Social Democrat Party are the Big 3, with the National Union and Green Party trailing behind. The Liberal Party is center-right, the PCP is center-left, and the Social Democrat Party is leftist. The National Union has both conservative and nationalist wings, and the Green Party is left-wing environmentalist.

The United Federation has a dominant party system that is dominated by the left-wing Progressive-Democratic Party. The United Federation does not prohibit formation of opposition parties but the fact that the politics are heavily influenced by socialist ideas makes it hard for the right-wing parties to gain traction.

One party, which is the Strazhnist Doctrine.

Yes, Doctrine, much like the US Constitution or the Communist Manifesto of all the communist governments throughout history. It is an ideology closely observed by the Big MT think tank which is an oligarchy of the nations top minds that run the country.

Basically, when Big MT needs to figure out a system, method, or decision, they will closely follow the Strazhnist Doctrine as a guide.

The Free Republics has a multi-party system.

Until around 20 years ago, the Liberals, Moderates and Conservatives formed what was effectively a 3 party system with a number of other parties having some representation in the Assembly but no realistic hope of reaching the last round of the consul elections. Then, the center collapsed and its been a free for all since then. First, Venicio Piazza of the Radical Alliance (OOC: a libertarian party) defeated the establishment parties. The following election, the Party for National Greatness (OOC: Nationalists who were borderline fascists) and the Holy Party (OOC: A Theocratic party run by the Church of Saintland) reached the final round with the Holy Party stealing the election with crooked voting machines. Then the Progressives battled an independent named Kaleb O'Reilly (OOC: basically a parody of Donald Trump who was being mind-controlled by an artificial intelligence that was actually an evil god from another universe). After O'Reilly's impeachment, we had an election where the Liberty Party (OOC: also a libertarian party though they emphasize social issues) battled the Radical Alliance. Most recently, the Liberty Party reached the final round against an independent who was endorsed by Responsible Progress (a splinter of the Progressive Party that is socially conservative and economically leftist). This year, the favorites to reach the final round are Golden Age (OOC: an outwardly progressive party that is secretly backed by militarists) and Common Good (OOC: The Holy Party in a secular facade).

In short, the Republican political system is extremely fluid with very large fluctuations in party support from election to election as public opinion shifts. It should also be noted that these parties do not necessarily exist at the republic level and are only really parties at the Federation level. The Assembly uses proportional representation with an extremely low threshold. The Senate uses life terms with each republic entitled to appoint a new senator every 2 years. The Assembly and Senate both meet inside the New Legislative Building which, due to the fact that there are thousands of republics, is roughly the size of a professional indoor sports arena (in a country where indoor sports are popular). The consuls are elected to 8 year terms every 4 years (though one election happened a year early because Consul Piazza was assassinated during the first half of his term and the senior consul also died, of natural causes) using a 3 round system. In the first round, all candidates with under 10% of the vote are eliminated. In the second round, any candidate finishing below 2nd place is eliminated. The third round is a head to head race. However, any candidate that gets a majority of the votes cast in the first or second round wins outright without further rounds of voting. The entire system is basically set up to produce a multi-party system so its baffling to political scientists that the 3 party system held up for so long.

We have a multi-party system. In the lower house, of the 150 seats, it is distributed as follows:

Social Democratic League: 63 seats (42%)
Liberal Party: 30 seats (20%)
Nationalist Council for Prosperity: 24 seats (16%)
Communist Party: 15 seats (10%)
National People's Syndicate: 9 seats (6%)
Independant/Non-partisan: 9 seats (6%)

Current president belongs to the Social Democratic League, and is in a governing coalition with the Liberal Party

We have a one-party system, but many ideologies exist within the Republican Party.

There are the Liberals and Old Republicans, who are the more moderate factions and can be compared to European Liberal and Labor Parties.

Then there are more extreme groups like the Theocrats and Vanguardists, who are basically Space ISIS and Space Soviets.

A dominant-party multi-party system, with the dominant party really being a left-wing ruling coalition between the Revolutionary Workers' Party, Cybernetic Socialist Party, and the Postscarcitarians (think like the Zeitgeist Movement, the Technocracy Movement etc.). The Green Party and Social Democrats are smaller and independent from any coalition, however the Greens work with other Green parties in other countries.
Some odd 65 years ago, when the RWP first got into power, they quickly consolidated, which mostly was the almost immediate transition from a social democracy to a socialist economy, nationalizing all enterprises to reformat them into workers' collectives.
They also cracked down on the few right-wing parties, the Liberals, Fascists, and Monarchists. This was a purge of their party as a legitimate organization, or in other words, a stripping of their party status.
Of these three, the liberals had the largest pre-purge membership, which was close to that of the Socdems or Greens, maybe a little larger, but their membership, while already dwindling because of the Socdems' popularity (they used to be bigger- Pre-Revolution, the Socdems were the ruling party for a while) stealing the Liberals' thunder, as the Liberals were the ruling party at the beginning of Modern Groraŋh history (which means that their policies were responsible for the crisis at the time, a contributing factor to their decline).
The fascists were always a small fringe movement. The purge did not affect their numbers much, other than crippling their potential to grow larger. Fun fact: their national in-group is linguistic (which could be argued that it counts as civic), rather than ethnic or religious. Within their ranks, however, are a few Blue Nationalists, whom scapegoat the Salvatores because they think the Salvatores are the same aliens that abducted and experimented on their ancestors.
The Monarchists were always a puppet of the Wends from the onset. Membership is a tiny fringe, most of which are probably not even Groraŋh citizens or residents, if you compare membership numbers to the tiny amount whom attend their rallies. Another clue to their status as a foreign front organization is them not even making an attempt to appeal to any traditional Groraŋh culture.

Have yet to build this part beyond Council Elections, so here it goes:

Each electiion cycle (8 years) there is a vote to choose between 4 councils heads, and the council. There are two rounds of voting, the first being by person, for the COuncil Head, usually the most heated part of the season, and second, the nine remaining candidates per party battle for a seat in the council, composed of 25 people. This last part, people are generally calmer.
Partem de natura et logicam (Kómma tis fýsis kai tis logikís, Nature and Logic Party) - people whose main focus is "natural logic"
Pars solis et foris (Kómma tou iliakoú fotós kai tou exoterikoú, Sunlight and Outdoors Party) - people whose main focus are events and festivities, not a popular choice, but they do get 3-6 seats sometimes, which does help since the country has a culture of festivities.
Pars autem mathematica (Kómma mathimatikón, Mathematics Party) - people who aim to deconstruct each problem into a mathematical model and solve every problem using mathematical (or more recently, computational) thinking.
Pars autem oritur philosophicam scientiam (Kómma filosofikís sképsis, Philosophical Thinking Party) - people whose whole government agenda relies on philosophy and the process of philosophical thinking.

Because of a big culture with regards to elections, there are common words in Giapoagnos that refer to these parties, and some even to the system as a whole.
Common monikers/nicknames people use, along with acronyms used: (Most common speech is done in Latin, but some areas speak primarily Greek)
"Natura" while still refers to "nature", can be used to describe a oerson who is part of PNL(Partem de natura et logicam)
-> Julius est a natura (Julius is a Natura)
"Sofor" can be used to refer to the PSF(Pars solis et foris) as a whole.
"Mate" (mah-teh) can be used when talking about people who are part of the PaM (Pars autem mathematica)
System terms:
"Misce et par" or "Anakatepse kai tairiaxe" refers to the Mix and Match style of council Elections.
"Furi" "Chorís títlo" Untitled - a slight demeaning term used by critics of the current leader, who opts to have no title
IC: Giapoagnos is a modern philosophical society whose leaders and prominent people are
philosophers and scientists.
There is an entertainment industry, but somewhat minimal.
Common languages are Greek and Latin, with 80% speaking both fluently.

It is common for college students to take two to three majors and a dash of minors.

Common food is grilled cheese, and fried chicken.

Glakta has an entirely non-partisan system. The key to any government position is the General Aptitude Test (GAT), that tests the applicants capabilities and, to a lesser extent, their political reliability. Any citizen that passes the GAT will receive aristokratos ("the best") status, which is required to obtain any position of power. Applicants taking the GAT select one or more (preferentially) positions they would like to apply for, and then these positions are filled preferentially from higher to lower GAT grades. In practice, this system ensures not only the hiring of the most qualified people, but also the dominance of conservative candidates loyal to the imperial political system.

The Emperor rules for life and is chosen by and from all aristokratos citizens. The Emperor also has the power to appoint many government positions, but still all appointed citizens must have passed the GAT beforehand.

Calliana has a de jure multi-party system and currently has four parties represented in its national legislature: The National Revolutionary Party (Populists), The Free Republican Union (Social Democrats), Bloc of National Minorities (Eco-Socialists and Indigenous Rights Activists), and the Communist Party (Leninists).

That being said, the nation has a de facto dominant-party system, under the National Revolutionary Party (otherwise known as the NRP or the Nationalists). The Nationalists took power rather recently, but inherited power from the now-defunct Democratic Party, the sole ruling party in Calliana following the end of the Civil War.

The Baybli Arab Republic is, according to the terms of the 1992 Constitution, a non-partisan socialist republic. However, almost all deputies to the Baybli People's Congress are members of the Arab Socialist Republican Party, as is President Mohammed Hashmi.

In the aftermath of the 1959 Baybli Revolution, a group of junior officers seized power in the Kingdom of Baybl and created a republic in the Arab socialist tradition of Egyptian president Gamal Abdel Nasser. All members of the contemporary Chamber of Deputies were elected as members of the Arab Socialist Republican Party from the 1960 elections to the signing of the 1968 constitution. In that year, in line with the government's effort to promote close ties with the USSR and the leftist Syrian government of Salah Jadid, seats were reserved for an opposition comprised mostly of the Baybli Communist Party and the pro-Syrian Ba'athist Party. After the fall of Jadid in 1970, the pro-Syrian Ba'athists were largely folded into the ASRP, with the Communists still forming an influential opposition.

In 1992, with the fall of the USSR and many other allies of Baybl's left-wing government, reforms were made to modernize the country while maintaining its secular, socialist system. Therefore the BAR is currently a non-partisan system on paper, while remaining a one-party state in reality.

The Democratic Republic of Moscareinas has a multiparty system as of March 2020, with 13 officially recognized political parties (and ten with representation in parliament, colloquially known as the Pale).

The two-party coalition of the Democratic Progressives and Moscan Greens held the 84 seats in the 168-member legislature from September 2013 through February 29, 2020, when the ailing prime minister Evangeline K. McDowell, member of the Pale for Le Creuset, formally submitted her resignation to President A. Gunaserakan; she would die of the novel coronavirus a week later. Following the lockdown imposed on the Aurora and Tago Gracias archipelagoes and the first wholly online election in the nation's history, both initiated by President Gunaserakan using the reverse powers granted him by the Constitution of Moscareinas, the coalition was defeated by a resurgent Conservative Party headed by Sabrina Isola Ajami, member of the Pale for Moroni, taking 108 seats, the first time a single party managed to capture more than a hundred seats since 1937, when Moscareinas was still a British Commonwealth state.

From the 1970s to the 2010s, Appalachia was, at the federal level at least, a dominant-party system. The Mountain Alliance maintained an absolute majority in both chambers of the Legislature and held the Presidency. The Alliance is an economically centrist, socially liberal, and isolationist party.

However, over the past several years the Alliance has waned in power, and Appalachia's other two major parties - the democratic socialist Union Party and the conservative Heritage Party - have grown, as both young and rural voters (respectively) tire of the Alliance's history of corruption. At both the federal and local level the Alliance has been caught vote buying, taking bribes, and engaging in outright voter intimidation. Other issues fueling the decline of the Alliance include economic stagnation and the nation's lower standard of living compared to its neighbors.

The Mountain Alliance still holds the presidency and the majority in the Assembly (the lower chamber), but the Senate has been divided since last year, which has brought the legislature to a virtual standstill. Many polls indicate the Union Party has a good chance of winning the upcoming Presidential election.

The Front for Democratic Civilization is made up of eighteen parties, making up nearly 39% of the Federal Council. Another 22% are independents unaffiliated, of which 14% caucus with the Front, forming a coalition government. The largest opposition is a coalition of about ten syncretic, nationalist parties called the Eurasianist Front comprising 14% of the Federal Council, followed by the liberal-conservative Renewed Values Alliance, consisting of four parties, at 9%, and three parties unaffiliated with any alliance.

In all, there are 35 parties in the Federal Council. None hold more than 10% of the seats, except the Libertarian Insurrectionary Movement, the flagship party of the FDC, which has 26% of the seats. The rest are small and eitber aligned with the LIM or ideologically fractured, making the Free Territory technically a dominant party state, despite the heavily fractured environment of its politics.
