Brief Description and Status of Project (optional): 프로젝트씨노'未来 (Project Future City) began on September 3, 2003 when then president Hei Sogeki presented the idea to the KNC. On October 20, 2003 the KNC voted on the idea and Project Future City won with a majority vote. The city was planned to be built in the Maeru prefecture about 4 hours away from Songjirei and about 8 hours away from Misai. On April 10, 2004 construction began and by August 30, 2006 people were allowed to begin to move in. By July 4, 2009 the first, second, third, fourth, and fifth wards completed construction and on July 20, 2009 the Shiyori Corporation opened up there regional headquarters in the third ward. On January 1, 2010 the Sueri-Aijin Station opened and the sixth ward became accessible to the public. By 2012 the population exceeded 1 million people. The University of Jeosan opened on April 10, 2012. By 2013 the population reached 2 million. On March 5, 2014 Jeosan-Maega International Airport opened. On September 3, 2016 all taxis were required to be electric. On April 10, 2017 all buses were required to also be electric.
