What is the state of religious freedom in YN? Religious communities other than the state religion are granted the full freedom of worship, however, they don't receive any financial support from the government and they are not represented in the official state ceremonies. However, there is a few centuries old law that forbids specifically Protestants from owning land in Medwedgrad. This controversial law is often attacked by liberal media and politicians.

Does YN have a state religion? Yes, the Free State's official religion is Roman Catholicism.
If so, does your government's laws and legislature rely mostly or entirely on that religion's ideas? That is up to debate. The usage of the word "mostly" makes this question speculative; the government of Limburg closely cooperates with the dioceses of Roermond and Hasselt to ensure that the majority religion is represented in the people's government, and it upholds the expectations and morals of the devout public in its policies.
What is the biggest religion in YN? Roman Catholicism
Is your populace religious? Mostly. Secularism, including Atheism and Agnosticism is publicly frowned upon, and organizations that seek to contaminate atheism often receive public funding.
What is the state of religious freedom in YN? There are no official laws against not being Catholic. However, remnants of "Dutch imperialism" are heavily clamped down upon, and protestants are prosecuted and killed for treason and collaboration with the enemy. Islam, despite not being officially illegal, has no influence or momentum in Limburgic society. There are currently no active mosques anywhere in the Free State, and most Muslims were deported following a set of Home Security reforms in the late 2010s. It is very difficult for non-Christians to apply for citizenship or asylum. There has never been a considerable influence of Eastern Orthodoxy within the Free State, and as such there are no churches that support this religion.
If your majority religion tolerates the concept or idea, answer with O. If not, answer with X. Note that this doesn't apply to the populace as a whole; this only refers to the followers of the biggest religion in YN. Comments welcome.
Atheism: [X], The dioceses of Roermond and Hasselt have a conservative and righteous view on Atheism; Some Catholics in the Free State do not believe in the Second Vatican Council, and thus believe that atheism and religious freedom goes against church teaching. Despite what the 'church leadership' in Rome claim, the dioceses mostly remain quiet on tolerating atheism, but covertly support the government in anti-atheist measures and programs.
People not in your religion: [X]
Polygamy: [X], Polygamy is heavily frowned down upon and seen as a sin by Catholics.
Pornography: [X], in accordance with the Anti-Zionist foreign policy as implemented by the Free State, major online distributors of pornography have been banned, and are only accessible via VPN (VPN networks in the Free State are currently illegal). Smaller, regional producers and distributors are persecuted, and those found producing filth can be arrested for breaking decency laws set up in 2018.
Homosexuality: [X]
The rest of the LGBT community: [X] The issue with homosexuality, as the Free State sees it, is that sodomy is inherently sinful and unproductive, and that it leads to individualisation and anti-state terrorism.
Sodomy: [X] Catholics are opposed to sodomy.
Insobriety: [O] The consumption of alcohol in public is illegal. Public drunkenness is also illegal, and despite the fact that it is legally acceptable to consume as much alcohol as you like within your own home, the government has been trying to limit such acts to promote healthier lifestyles and decrease alcoholism.
Fornication: [O] Fornication is frowned upon, adultery is illegal.
Stem cell research: [X]
Science in general: [O] Limburgic scientific communities are taught to act in accordance with the law, and thus have to abstain from ungodly acts.
Abortion: [X] Abortion is completely banned within the Free State.
Contraception: [X] Contraception is illegal, but there is a fairly sizeable black market for such products.
Women leading in your religion: [X] The Catholic Church currently does not allow women to be ordained as priests or take up leading positions within the church.
Men leading in your religion: [O] Men, if they have been called up to do so by God, are allowed to join the Catholic Church and become part of the respected clergy.

Does YN have a state religion?
The State Religion of the Satavakal Kingdom is the Kantakaki faith, also known by the other names of 'Faith of the Fountains', 'the Fountains of Light' and 'Kantakaki Ivi'.

If so, does your government's laws and legislature rely mostly or entirely on that religion's ideas?
The foundation of the Satavakal Kingdom, as well as the various Kingdoms prior within Kantani history, rests almost in entirety upon the base offered by the Kantakaki faith.

What is the biggest religion in YN (not including atheism)?
The Kantakaki faith is the largest religion within the Satavakal Kingdom. It is adhered to by a vast majority of the inhabitants.

Is your populace religious?
Most, if questioned, would say they adhere to the faith, though the level of adherence can vary quite wildly, from simply engaging in the ritual cleanliness stipulated by the faith to engaging actively in the more spiritualistic side of the faith.

What is the state of religious freedom in YN?
Freedom of religion is, in theory, guaranteed. However, the further into the conservative portions of the Kingdom you travel, the most conservative areas including the Eastern Highlands, Great Peninsula and the Western Marches, the more likely you are to encounter religious fanaticism.

If your majority religion tolerates the concept or idea, answer with O. If not, answer with X. Note that this doesn't apply to the populace as a whole; this only refers to the followers of the biggest religion in YN. Comments welcome.

Is there any other information needed to be aware?
There are some highly progressive fragments of the Kantakaki faith, largely hailing from Satavakal itself, Ikavamasani, Xiamanas or Satakavamal, which seek to become more accepting of others. These largely coincide with the most progressive sectors in the Satavakal Kingdom itself, however.

'Kantani Civilisation' is not the official name of the state. That's just a placeholder so that, if and when the dynasty changes, I can change the Kingdom name to match.

Does YN have a state religion? Officially speaking White Sun is a secular nation, there was a period however from 1856 to 1972 when the nation's 'official' religion was a version of Shinto-Buddhism endorsed by the government. This is no longer the case.
If so, does your government's laws and legislature rely mostly or entirely on that religion's ideas? The Civil Code of the White Sun Empire was amended to reflect the secularization of the nation in 1973, disestablishing the existence of a state-religion.

Does YN have a state religion? No.
If so, does your government's laws and legislature rely mostly or entirely on that religion's ideas? However, many laws have been passed because certain politicians were religious.
What is the biggest religion in YN (not including atheism)? Judaism, at 40% of the population. The biggest denomination of Judaism in Ruritane is Reform Judaism.
Is your populace religious? They aren't atheist, but they aren't fundamentalist, either. Ruritanaises believe in G-d, but they are French.
What is the state of religious freedom in YN? Very good. There are lots of other religions in Ruritane, and no one cares what your religion is unless you belong to an evil cult.
If your majority religion tolerates the concept or idea, answer with O. If not, answer with X. Note that this doesn't apply to the populace as a whole; this only refers to the followers of the biggest religion in YN. Comments welcome.
The followers of Reform Judaism in Ruritane are somehow more reformist than their rabbis, so...

People not in your religion: [O] Despite the whole "chosen people" thing.

Does YN have a state religion? This depends on what one means by state religion. The official religion of the Free Land is Roman Catholicism, but it doesn't receive any legal favors above other religions. We are certainly not a theocracy. It is the official religion only as an acknowledgement that the Catholic Church performs a lot of vital functions in the Free Land.
If so, does your government's laws and legislature rely mostly or entirely on that religion's ideas? Not that much, really. The two are rather separate spheres. The government runs the military and provides school vouchers, and not much else. The church takes care of the poor, provides for the education of most Antityranicals, etc, though it does not by any means have a monopoly on these things. The government does not legislate Catholic morality, except for banning abortion.
What is the biggest religion in YN (not including atheism)? Roman Catholicism
Is your populace religious? Very much so.
What is the state of religious freedom in YN? It is guaranteed, and there are not any religions whatsoever, even violent ones, which are banned.
If your majority religion tolerates the concept or idea, answer with O. If not, answer with X. Note that this doesn't apply to the populace as a whole; this only refers to the followers of the biggest religion in YN. Comments welcome.
Since you are not exactly clear on what "toleration" means, I'm going to note a few things next to each category. Firstly, I will note whether or not religious people believe that this action should be legal. This I will mark with a 1. Secondly, I will note whether or not they believe a certain action is sinful. This I will mark with a 2. I will also mark actions with multiple X's, or multiple O's, depending on how strongly these positions are held, on a scale of one to five (note that a single [O] often means disapproval without strict moral opposition, something like a distaste). Some of these topics, such as LGBT (a very broad label indeed) will require a number of different rankings for each. I'll try to be thorough, but we'll see how it works.

Atheism: 1. Considered downright crazy, but certainly legally tolerated. [OOO]
2. Most Catholics in the Free Land hold strong Atheism to be not in reality the intellectual rejection of the idea of God, but an intentional hatred of the idea of good, which they rank as an [XX]. Agnosticism and agnostic atheism, however, are generally considered at least genuine intelectual positions, even if problematic, and so rank between [O] and [OO]

People not in your religion: 1. [OOOO]
2. Depends on the religion. Most don't have a real problem with many other Christian denominations, but most will agree that certain religions, such as Islam, are sinful. So anywhere from [OOO] to [XX].

Polygamy: 1. This is a major cause of disagreement. Nonetheless, there are many good Catholics who supported its legalization. So I'll give it an [O]
2. Is thought of by most as not only sinful, but also an affront to the ideal of chivalry. [XXX]

Pornography: 1. Another major cause of disagreement, since pretty much every good Catholic despises pornography, but most people in the Free Land are quite libertarian by international standards. The general consensus is that adults ought be free, but strongly discouraged, from creating and watching pornography. [O]
2. Both production and consumption are strongly hated by nearly every religious person. [Somewhere between XXX and XXXX]

Homosexuality: 1. There are very, very few Catholics who believe it ought be illegal. [OOOO]
2. This depends upon what element of homosexuality one is talking about. Homosexuality itself, namely, the sexual attraction of men to men, or women to women, is not considered sinful, so to that, I'll give a [OOOO]. Acting upon this desire, however, is considered sinful. While actions such as holding hands or even kissing between two members of the same gender are typically considered unsinful, and would be assigned a [O], sexual intercourse between such a couple would be looked upon as sin [XX].

The rest of the LGBT community: 1. Catholics don't recognize transgenderism as a thing, and do not believe the government should officially acknowledge what they view as fantasies. However, most don't believe there should be any legal prohibition on men acting like women, and vice versa. So there, one might place an [O]. The various alphabet soup of sexual attractions are considered on par with homosexuality, and as such, receive a [OOOO]. Nearly all Catholics in the Free Land have no problem whatsoever with people who were born intersex, or otherwise were not physically born male or female due to genetic anomalies [OOOO].
2. Those who identify as transgender are often merely considered misguided and foolish [O], but depending on the steps they take towards conforming to their identified gender rather than their birth gender, these steps may be considered [X], [XX], or in very rare cases [XXX]. Bisexual actions are treated the same as heterosexual actions if with a member of the opposite sex, and the same as homosexual actions if with a member of the same sex ([OOOO] for mere attraction, [O] for non-sexual romance, [XX] for sex). In other words, bisexuals with opposite sex partners are treated as regular heterosexuals, and bisexuals with same sex partners are treated as regular homosexuals. The same goes for pansexuals, polysexuals, etc. This, combined with the fact that Catholics don't recognize transgenderism, means that if a biological male is in a relationship with a biological female who identifies as a male, or vice versa, most, though not all, Catholics consider this a heterosexual relationship. It is worth nothing, however, that many Catholics don't believe one should be married to one who thinks he or she is the same sex as his or her partner. Attraction between the two is considered a [OOOO], non-sexual romance is considered [OOO], and sex within marriage is considered [OO] (for sex outside of marriage, see fornication). While it is agreed by all but the most conservative of Catholics that there is nothing wrong with physically being intersex [OOOO], and most are perfectly okay with accepting the chosen gender of such a person, so long as he or she does not change it more than once or twice in his or her life (The extent to which this is tolerated is nowhere near agreed upon. Many hold that a hermaphrodite may decide to be called by whatever pronoun he or she wishes at any given time, many hold that his or her wish does not matter, and they ought be called by appearance. Opinions are so varied that I won't even attempt to put a label on this, but generally it is agreed that if the individual in question has surgery to become physically male, or physically female, such ought be treated as his or her gender), there is a great deal of disagreement as to the moral laws surrounding hermaphrodites having romantic relationships. Some argue that a hermaphrodite can morally marry either a male or a female. Some hold that it is best that hermaphrodites don't get romantically involved at all, and that if they do, they ought marry someone of the opposite sex as they appear. All in all, hermaphrodites marrying someone who is of a different gender than they appear to be is considered somewhere between an [OOO] and an [OOOO], and them marrying someone who is of the same gender as they appear to be is considered to be between a [OO] and a [O]. But these are nowhere near set in stone. I probably left something or other out, but this is all I can think of.

Sodomy: 1. Nobody in the Free Land but a fringe, radical few hyper-conservative Catholics actually believe this seriously ought to be outlawed and enforced.[Considered between OOOO and OOOOO].
2. So long as it is within heterosexual marriage, most don't really care, and if they do consider it sinful, they consider it among the very most minor of sexual sins. There is, however, a sizable minority which holds that it is a sin on par with contraception or homosexual intercourse. Overall, I'd give sodomy within a heterosexual marriage an [O], and a very low one at that. Homosexual sodomy is covered above. I will cover heterosexual sodomy outside of marriage in fornication.

Insobriety: 1. No serious Catholic in the Free Land with any internet presence whatsoever holds that drunkenness should be illegal [OOOOO]. In the case of insobriety from drugs, however, there are a wide variety of positions, depending on the drug. The average position of marijuana and drugs like it is between [OOOO] and [OOO]. For drugs which are dangerous, such as cocaine, heroin, etc, the position is [O].
2. Most Catholics believe there is a time and a place where insobriety is okay, but that insobriety outside of these times and places is wrong. In the right time and place, I'd give it an [OO], and outside of that time and place, I'd give it somewhere between [X] and [XX]. Use of marijuana would be an [O] in private, and an [X] in public, while lethal drugs would be an [XXX] either way.

Fornication: 1. Between consenting adults, most agree that extramarital sex ought to be legal, so long as it is not prostitution [OOOO]. Prostitution is universally despised, but to ban it is seen as an improper government intrusion, so [O]. Sex between two consenting teenagers is seen as the height of foolishness, but it is nonetheless largely understood that illegalizing this would cause more problems than it would solve, so this ranks between [OO] and [OOO]. On the legal field, consensual sex between a teenager and an adult, depending on the circumstance, ranges from about [O] (if the teenager is over 16, and the adult is under 21) to a high [XXX] (If between a teenager younger than 16, and an adult older than 30).
2. The level of moral disapproval of heterosexual fornication between consenting adults varies, depending on the scenario. If non-sodimous, and between two individuals who plan upon getting married and spending their life together, this is a weak [X]. If one or both of these criteria are not fulfilled, this is a [XX]. In the context of an abusive or toxic relationship, this is a [XXX]. In the case of prostitution, there may be extenuating circumstances for the prostitute herself, if she is absolutely no other way of earning money. In this case, the result would be an [X]. If she has another way of earning money which simply isn't as profitable, it would probably be a [XX]. If she chose to be a prostitute partially for the sake of pleasure, she would be guilty of a [XXX]. However, the customer of a prostitute is considered absolute scum, deserving a high [XXXX]. Sex between teenagers generally is a [XX], though sometimes a [XXX].

1. Stem cell research: 1. Almost nobody opposes research on stem cells not harvested from the destruction of human embryos [OOOO], while almost everyone opposes embryonic stem cell research as murderous [XXXX].
2. Same as above.

Science in general: 1. Total approval with the exception of a few fields like human cloning [OOOO]
2. Same as above.

Abortion: 1. Abortion is considered murder, although many are in favor in most cases of some degree of clemency for the mother who procures one [XXX] though there is usually little mercy for abortion providers. [XXXXX]
2. Is considered worse than most murder, because the target is an innocent child. [XXXX] for the mother who procures an abortion, [XXXXX] for the abortion provider.

Contraception: 1. This is an extraordinarily hot topic in the Free Land, one which is debated immensely. At this point, the consensus is [O] for most contraceptives, though most were nominally illegal just a few months ago (but never enforced). Post-intercourse contraceptives are still banned, because of their potential to actually kill an embryo [XXX].
2. Regular contraceptives are seen as an attempt to separate sex from both commitment and reproduction, and as such are looked upon as wrong, and a [XX]. Post-intercourse contraceptives are not only seen as that, but also as reckless endangerment, because there is a potential a human embryo is destroyed, which would be manslaughter. As such, it is typically seen as a [XXX], if not worse.

Women leading in your religion: 1. N/A
2. This depends on what is meant by "leading." The majority of teachers and principals of Catholic schools are women. As in most parts of the world, there are more religious sisters than priests, and, of course, women can be heads of religious orders, not to mention informal leadership, such as that of St. Catherine of Siena. However, they cannot be priests, bishops, or pope, or heads of male religious orders.

Men leading in your religion: 1. N/A
2. Men cannot be heads of female religious orders, but are eligible for pretty much any other position of leadership in the church.

Is there any other information needed to be aware?
I'm pretty sure this is already more than enough.

Is this too much info? Probably.

Does YN have a state religion? No, the Federation of Lillorainen is secularized, albeit some states have religious/spiritual advisors in their local governments.
If so, does your government's laws and legislature rely mostly or entirely on that religion's ideas? Not really.
What is the biggest religion in YN (not including atheism)? Norse Paganism (>80% of the population).
Is your populace religious? Pretty much so, even though Temple attendance has declined a bit over the last few decades.
What is the state of religious freedom in YN? Freedom of Religion is granted by constitution, even though Lillorainen doesn't really have a history of discriminating against people based on their faith (save for the era during and immediately after the Crusades in the 13th and 14th century).
If your majority religion tolerates the concept or idea, answer with O. If not, answer with X. Note that this doesn't apply to the populace as a whole; this only refers to the followers of the biggest religion in YN. Comments welcome.

If so, does your government's laws and legislature rely mostly or entirely on that religion's ideas? Yes.

Atheism: [X]
People not in your religion: It depends. Tolerated denominations outside the Catholic Church are Eastern/Oriental Orthodox, Anglicans/Episcopals, Methodists and certain Pentecostals (however these denominations must not be liberally deceived and perverted). Certain forms of Judaism are tolerated too. Other religions and heretic denominations are outlawed.
Polygamy: [X]
Pornography: [X]
Homosexuality: [X] There are no homosexuals in Terabithya in the first place.
The rest of the LGBT community: [X]
Sodomy: [X]
Insobriety: It depends on what would happen. If nothing bad happens it's allowed.
Fornication: [X]
Stem cell research: [X]
Science in general: This question doesn't make sense. Science confirms Scripture (such as Creation science) and disproves liberal scientific theories. Those theories are forbidden to be spread, they're a lie.
Abortion: [X] Fully illegal.
Contraception: [X] Fully illegal except for Coitus interruptus.
Women leading in your religion: [X]
Men leading in your religion: [O]
Is there any other information needed to be aware? There is little sin in Terabithya which is located on a planet near the edge of space, close to Heaven.
