Can't say that I remember them all that well. I keep meaning to find my old copies, but there are always new books to read

I do remember Sumer making a comment that Clancy doesn't attend proper military conferences because he'd be laughed out, though.

Actually, the distrust of Clancy is also strong on Tanknet, possibly due to a large number of rookie errors in his tank books.

Honestly depends on the book. Earlier he shows a pretty good understanding tactics, technology and other things. Later works not so much. Might have to do with the fact that he stopped writing them and handed his name of to other people.
