Not too surprising. Admittedly, there isn't a lot of diversity in firearms-related anime.

Well, Russia isn't going to be entering the desert to battle it out any time soon, so they don't need to issue a UCP or Multicam pattern. I mean the last time they issued would a desert uniform was that khaki tan they used in the 70/80s.

The modern UCP, I don't think will be of any use in an environment like a large plain or green forest.

Out of curiosity, I had a buddy of mine who owns a MARPAT pattern uniform go out into a field with me a few weeks ago. I had another one of my buddies put on my ACU. They both walked off and went down in opposite directions while I wasn't looking (I will admit I counted, grown men playing hide and go seek in military uniforms )

Anyway, I spotted the UCP every time. MARPAT was much, much harder. Granted, the grass is nice and green here for the brief window until the drought kicks in again, but still. UCP is mediocre everywhere, instead of being good somewhere.

My skin kinda crawls when I wear it. The ACU isn't even comfortable. I genuinely prefer this Serbian uniform that may or may not have been procured by a cousin of mine during the Kosovo War. Taking stuff from the enemy kinda runs in the family...

My other cousin was born in a tiny little hospital over an hour away from here, because it was the first day of Desert Storm and my paranoid redneck uncle refused to go into Houston. He was convinced the Iraqis were going to smuggle chemical weapons into the port somehow.
