The People's Republic of Krasnostav is set amongst three mountain ranges. Isolation and surrounding wilderness always made it a place for outlaws, marauders or political opponents, thus it's no coincidence that it became the last stand of the capitalist insurgents during the civil war of the 1990's. The slops of the Black Mountains saw some of the fiercest engagements in the whole conflict. After the civil war was over, Ygor Kasmula formed a new governing body and slowly but surely brought Krasnostav back to its glorious state.

Varijnland started out as Anglo-Norse colonies called Vinland and Markland in the mid to late 8th century AD, it's founder was said to be a Norwegian Viking named Guðrun Geirmunðsson. During this time, trade between the colonies and Northern Europe as well as Iceland and Greenland were busy and more and more settlers emigrated here, including the powerful King of Wessex, Æthelwulf in his later years. As Vinland developed into a powerful medieval Kingdom, it's population exploded. During the 1600's the Dutch has arrived with thousands of people to start their own colony (Varijnland) in this area of North America, surprisingly, they were not met with violence by the Anglo Norse and were embraced. As the centuries rolled by, Vinland and Varijnland were united and became one of the worlds Greatest colonial superpowers along with the United Kingdom, Denmark and France.

Then we moved to Sapphire, became an upstart, learnt how to fight again. Then got stuck in a really long counter-insurgency war across the region.

Eventually this alliance between the Confederacy and the surrounding territories would be strengthened and a single united federal republic was formed.
