Armament of the support version of the giant Poseidon Class Ekranoplane I've been working on. The Kraken Class Think of it as a LCT(R) on steriods, its practically a flying arsenal ship.Fitted with hundreds of rocket launch tubes, and an advanced communications and sensor suite it is the ultimate in modern Missile Spam . The launch tubes almost completely replace the upperdeck, and the added weight decreases the range and scraps the cargo capacity of the parent class.

Main change from last time is that I scaled back everything. I looked up and revised the weights of the armament. As it was I had each rocket weighing only a few pounds. As it is now I've got a slightly more realistic weight of ~2 tons for the 6000mm rockets and 1 ton for the 300mm Rockets. Overall this gives a weight of 616 tons (Not including mountings yet but I don;t think those would weigh more then a 10 or 20 tons total), which although cutting the amount of fuel carried and eliminating any chance of carrying cargo, makes it seems like the current load out is doable. Although I still haven't factored in the fire control and targeting radars and such. How many tons would those weigh? I'm thinking only 1 or 2 dozen tops which would keep it manageable. All of this still allows for a sizable fuel load of over 300 tons without topping the MTOW of the base Poseidon Class.

Here's the rough outline of the payload, any suggestions on how well the mix is I have, and any ideas for better ones.

Standard load:4 Scout UAVs, 8 AshMs, 20 Land Attack Cruise Missiles Missiles, 60 Super Heavy Artillery Rockets with assorted payloads (Essentially Tactical Ballistic Missiles)

Standard load:24 WP Smoke Screens, 200 Cluster Warheads, 124 Thermobaric Warheads, 84 HE Warheads

What would be the drawbacks of using only more lightly armored vehicles for favor of upping anti-armor weaponry at all levels?

For example, MBTs would be a rare sight, if seen at all. However, IFVs would be the mainstay armored vehicles.

Doctrine would be like this; AT Infantry transported by heavy IFVs spearheading assaults while at the flanks are vehicles that fill a tank-destroyer role (preferably something like a Wiesel with 4 or more AT missiles).

The terrain of my country is heavily mountainous, barring urban areas. The rest is plains.
