This is also not me intentionally delaying in order to allow someone outside of the 3 brackets to edit their factbooks. Just my awful habit and my non-existent sleep cycle, I apologise for the inconsistency in start/end.

As for Khor's factbook, I am aware of the changes done very recently within the bracket. This is done without bias, and as I have stated a while back, i.e. if you really urgently must edit, you can tell me and I will consider it. Khor did grammatical and spelling changes and as such, is in accordance with the contest! ♥

Within 3 brackets, reach out to me if you really need to change something. Outside of this, feel free to change it, BUT not retcon or rework the whole thing. Edits must retain how the factbook looks like when you enter it. ^^

God damnit I should've taken more time to update. Anyway, just as a heads-up for anyone reading mine - sections of the factbook that have a big [OOC: Outdated] disclaimer on them are largely non-canon. That applies to the entire section, though some bits are slightly more accurate to current unwritten canon than others - to rank them in order of most accurate to least, it'd be Political Opinions > Personal Life > Reign > Ascendance, though none of them are actually fully applicable. I'm aware this makes its content rather disjointed, but do bear with me.

On another note, I'm sure some of you might notice that it was just edited today - don't worry about me being disqualified or anything, I asked Val for permission beforehand and it was a pretty minor wording change.

With all that said, best of luck to Bloodshade, and I'm looking forward to seeing how this turns out and what people have to say about the contestants.

Actually, that's a lie. I'm voting for Vic as ol' Empy's factbook has to be viewed on 67% resolution on Chrome to not run off the edge, and on principle I dislike that immensely. Compatibility is the other thing besides grammar I'm an anally-specific pedant about. Other than that he'd have my vote by virtue of the more creative formatting, despite how WIP his factbook is. The character-writing seems to be top-notch for the both of them, though.

Honestly, Diarcesia, I really like the font you've used for Arkess' section headers, and I'll definitely look into nabbing that. It's a short but pretty solid factbook, I think.

Not only you got the content, but it's well-written, high quality stuff.

Another edit: The tradeoff for my section headers is that I can't do pretty infoboxes without hiding them in a spoiler.

I was low-key hoping for the last match to end up with a tie, but I'll take it. Still a shame that Victoria won't be making it into the second round - all I can say is that I'm definitely honoured to have won against such a well-done factbook. Who knows, maybe this way I'll eventually end up pitted against Ambrosia, that'd make for quite the showdown.

Regarding the current matchup, I'll be giving my vote to Ari. It goes far more in depth into so many more aspects of her than Arkess' does, and just generally does a better and more thorough job of establishing the character in question, from her personality and worldview to her upbringing and accomplishments. The presentation also has an edge - the header is especially nice - though in some regards I do prefer Arkess' mainly because it has a greater proportion of visual content. Ari's factbook is really striking at the top, then from the end of the infobox down to the trivia section all that goes away. I can't really blame KG, though, finding appropriate images to use is a struggle I relate to all-too-well.

Small and minor changes have been made to the brackets in order to account for Empirical Switzerland being gone, and Greatdux seeming to go into a retcon, i.e. their only entry no longer exists. In the meantime, the rest of the brackets will go accordingly as planned with no reshuffling done.

Hey, I might have missed it, but how are ties gonna be handled in that factbook competition? I only ask cuz Kal’shazzar’s profile wound up with a tie, if I recall.

The tied factbooks will not be eliminated and instead both will go over to the next round either as a three-way, or if the randomiser is feeling generous, they might be up against other entries instead of the same one as the previous round.

If there are lack of votes, for instance, only winning by 2-1 (way too few total votes to declare a win), I have the decision to more or less let it go again for the second round.

Yeah, that's definitely a problem I've noticed. I've some ideas how to fix it but I'm not sure if, for instance, [tab] code can indent [background-block] code. If it can I think I can add colorful headers that correct that at least.
