yeah while I love Synne's factbook for its creativeness, when I read factbooks, I want the information moreso than the designs. Montevento's makes it easier to get said information and there's more of it, so I'm voting for them

As always, Synne's factbook aesthetics are absolutely on point, but that's far from the only reason why I'm voting for them this round. Sure, Montevento's is more informative as an actual military factbook, and sure there's a lot of numbers being thrown around at the beginning of the Providence factbook, but after all that, the writing sections are just a lot more interesting to me on a conceptual level. Montevento's factbook is too standard for my tastes, while the Providence's descriptions make it so much more than just a battlecruiser, even a really big one with nonstandard dimensions and weird temporal properties. It uses the ridiculous size and weird physics of it not only to show how powerful a piece of military equipment it is, but also to showcase alien ecosystems and regions sprouting up along its mass, cultural perceptions of it, and incredibly unique technologies it uses. I can get why some people would vote for Montevento in this matchup, but for me personally, the Providence is an easy choice.

While looking at both factbooks, I'm going to go with Synne's due to the concept, writing and formatting at display. There's something about the aesthetic that Synne's gunning for which grabs my absolute attention. The art being used to depict every single aspect of the Providence is beautiful, suitable and fits the idea that I have whenever I think about SABER. My reasons are similar to that of Khoronzon's. The Providence is more than just a ship. It's an idea. I do appreciate Montevento's solid factbook design and approach but I personally have been leaning on creativity over convenience throughout the competition. That's just my personal opinion at least.

Both factbooks are great in their own ways, of course, but I personally believe Synne gets the edge.

Because NScode is a stubborn little fellow and does not do indenting very well I've used a sort of duct-tape method with floats and Unicode characters to make the upcoming factbook work.
90% zoom on firefox is what I made the thing to work with but it may differ with monitors so just try around until there's nothing randomly jutting out to the left or right edge of the screen.

Legally obligated to vote for Konrad, but here are my thoughts:

Svoboda's is longer and more creatively formatted. Some of the images don't work, and the way the [blocktext] and [sidebar] tags interact is a little jank, but overall it makes for a better, more eye-catching read. Khik'an's is good, but could stand to differentiate itself some more in terms of going beyond that simple Napoleonic Europa wiki-template. There's lots of little tricks you can add in to make it more unique.

Also certain aspects of Khik'an's factbook, such as the header in her sidebar, are unreadable in dark-mode, so there's that. Svoboda's is more functional across different themes.

I do think Svoboda's factbook could stand to have the font size shrunk just a little; as it is the page looks cramped and it's a little irritating, for me at least. But who knows? That could just be another part of the z o o m.
