"Actually, I have a second recommendation; Sultan Mehmet of the Ottoman Caliphate. Guy kidnaps royalty and rapes them. Think you'd want him gone too?" Celaeno chuckled.
Witheare's face returned back to that which looked merely uncanny, rather than the glaring blue skull it was a moment ago. Her needle disappeared into the shadows, and she began feasting upon the cadaver like a voracious scavenger.
"I already had a correspondent warn me about Blekkenhorst." Witheare said, between bites. "He was causing harm, and he was not useful to my agenda. Seeing him for myself, I did not believe Blekkenhorst could be deradicalized. So I disposed of him. It is simple, utilitarianism at work; his power and matter is put to better use this way. But I am going to keep my promise... I will destroy it all, until there is no one left to put another person like him in power."
"Hmm... Someone like that could be repurposed, either as a recruit, or as dust." Witheare said, standing up. "I don't have enough room to finish off Blekkenhorst myself. Maybe plant his body in a park, to grow a tree or something for the people he so hated."
"Maybe we'll add insult to injury or something. Blekkenhorst obviously deserved the last fate, but we should look to something to compensate, but at the same time not cause too much blood... maybe you can have him put in stocks inside his own capital for the rest of his life or something? Maybe reincarnate him as something like a slug or a pig? Or how about putting him inside a punching bag or a training dummy for the recruits in my army." Celaeno offered as she listed off the punishments. "Pieter was tortured in a physically painful sense last time, so maybe this time we should humiliate him so badly he'll be stripped of any self-confidence he had. Emotional pain can sometimes be even worse than physical."
"But may I ask; do you really have to kill off the entire populace? Why not kill all the generals and officers, loyalists and supporters, and as for the civilians, we can show them what the Ryk did, and if they still follow through, that's when you can take them down. Worked for Germany in WWII. We haven't had another Hitler since." Eliah suggested
