While Israel and Iran have very good relations, especially in the context of other states in the Middle East, both know that their good relations have little to do with any actual diplomacy and all to do with the fact that while some states refuse to recognize Israel and while some other states recognize both Israel and Palestine, the State of Iran refuses to recognize an entity named "Palestine" and had actively bombed the territories held by various powers under the Palestinian Authority throughout 1990 and 2000s in heavy campaigns that would put the Coalition Bombings in Yemen to shame, and only stopped doing so when it helped Israel finally annex the territory in 2013.

The Patagonian equivalent to cowboys and Indians would have to be the Gauchos and the Mapuche tribals that inhabit the vast Pampas region with great soil for farming. The Gauchos are famed in Patagonian mythos and an integral part of Patagonian history next to 1920s radical anarchists and miners. The Gauchos roamed the land with their horses and built communities and farms before moving on to the next. They're skilled horsemen yet were unruly and like to live like freemen - refusing to bow to any state actor like the previous Argentine and Patagonian regimes. They have a mixed relationship with the Mapuches but it is not often that you see them live side by side in a community.

Gaucho culture experienced a revival after the Surrealist Revolution and the break down of society. All of a sudden, the Patron gave them guns and "mechanical horses" (yes, mechanical horses) to act as militias and defenders of the revolution. Now they could be seen roaming the Pampas wasteland and defending their own settlements from bandits. They would occasionally take part in Mapuche raids against Chilean border guards along the Chilean border to acquire supplies.

Despite the rapid development of state-of-the art Wireless Telegraphs and mobile radio devices, the military still makes heavy use of Heliographs. If all it would take for such technologies to become feasible were these small changes, we would certainly have them in the real world by now.

Borgovia used its history during WWII to argue against America's reopening of the economy with a "Who cares about the old and immunocompromised" attitude. One American camp want a haircut, others be damned. Others want old people to die because they're "in the way", mostly angry Millennial and Zoomers. GC Heralds had reportedly broken the table (literally) due to a sudden insight during the primaries.
SuperOwl XIII may feature the "3 teams per state" rule. It's expected that underperforming teams in states with fierce competition may try to relocate to other, more obscure states. Such an effect is believed to be beneficial for the development of intgaming in these states. Team naming conventions are expected to be relaxed as well.

The Space Race, in NT's timeline, was quite different from that of OTL. Instead of between 2 world powers, it was first between 4 factions/world powers, and between only 3 in the later years. The space race began with the US launching the first artificial satellite ever into orbit, the Explorer 1, on 31 Jan, 1958. This started the space race led to the other 3 world powers, New Transeurasia, the People's Republic of China, and the Western European powers, to start space programs of their own. New Transeurasia's AKI(Space Research Administration, Администрация Космических Исследований), formed in 1949 originally for studies in astronomy, had been reformed into the NTKA(New Transeurasian Space Administration, Новая Трансевразийская Космическая Администрация) in 1955 after the US's announcement of its intent of launching a satellite into space by 1957-1958. The NTKA launched a satellite of its' own, Sputnik 1, on 27 April, 1958. The next major developments in the Space Race weren't until 1960, when the People's Republic of China launched the Dōngdeyìzhì 1 satellite on 11 April.

New Transeurasia made a major advancement in the Space Race with the launch of the Zvezda 1 rocket on 12 April 1961, carrying the first human in space, Juri Gagarin in orbit around the Earth. Later that year, on 12 August, the UK, France, and West Germany formed the EMETO(European Military & Economic Treaty Organization) Space Organization, which was renamed to West European Space Organization in 1961. WESO launched its' first satellite, the Terra 1, on 7 January, 1962. The US was not far behind New Transeurasia in the Space Race, launching astronaut John Glenn into orbit around earth on 20 February, 1962. WESO quickly caught up with the US and NT, launching Géraud Deschain on the Europa 6 rocket into orbit around Earth on 19 July, 1962.

The first commercial satellite in space was the KS-1, launched on 27 June, 1962, by an agreement between the European Telephone Company(a predecessor of the Eurocom Group of now) and the NTKA. The US's first commercial satellite followed quickly. The Telstar 1 was launched into orbit by Bell Labs and NASA on 10 July, 1962. On 12 December, 1962, the PRC became the final world power to orbit a human around Earth, launching the Hóngsèxīng 4 rocket into orbit around Earth, carrying the first woman in space, Shí Zēng. The 4 major world powers were now all in the "Race to the Moon."

The Western European countries became the first countries to orbit a human around the moon, with the Solis 3 mission piloted by Damion Howe on 9 November 1965. On 31 January 1966, New Transeurasia became the first nation to achieve a soft landing on the Moon, with the Luna 9 unmanned mission. While there were multiple landings on the Moon prior to 1966(the first also being New Transeurasian, Luna 2), all were hard landings. Political instability in the PRC led China to halt its' space program in April of 1966, leaving the Space Race a competition between 3 factions/world powers: New Transeurasia, the USA, and Western Europe. There weren't any more developments in the Space Race until 1969, when the US's Apollo 11 mission won the Space Race, landing Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin on the moon on 20 July, 1969. The Space Race wasn't entirely over, though. While the USA definitely won the Space Race, there was still a space race between NT and Western European countries. New Transeurasia made its' own moon landing on 13 June, 1972 with the Luna 21 mission, carrying cosmonauts Tanja Sobol and Levin Höfler to the moon. WESO landed Thomas Duguay, Severin Weimann, and Elizabeth Greene on the moon on 17 April, 1974 with the Europa 17 mission.

While the space race had ended, many nations made their own manned missions to the moon. Japan in 1980, Italy in 1984, Republic Of China(Successor to PRC) in 1985, the Federation of North America(Successor to USA, Canada, and Mexico) in 1993, Ethiopia in 1997, Australia in 2006, India in 2006, Nigeria in 2018, and, most recently, Brazil in 2026. More recently, though, corporations have made missions to the Moon and Mars to survey for resources. There are already multiple corporation-owned moon bases and moon colonies set up by governments. It's probable a Mars Race will begin sometime in the 2030s, though instead of just nations competing, it's more likely to be nations and corporations competing.
