Not trying to be criticize the mods or anything, but a stricter enforcement of the rules would really help. That said I understand fully that it isn't really possible given the speed this thread moves and all of the other things mods have to deal with when on here to say nothing of the fact that you all have RL stuff to do. Hence why I concur that this thread needs a nice rest, its the best possible option for all involved.

Seriously, though.

I was actually talking more about some explanation what kind of posts are spam and what kind are not. This is a chat thread, so the usual guidelines won't suffice, in my opinion. Chat threads tend to lie on the border of the rules, which means the border has to be that much more defined.

I can't really give examples, but there have been people that don't realize that what they're posting is actually considered spam. It tends to be tough to discern between what's acceptable and what's not.

Just my two cents.

Lord knows I've tried. But I have work, and family, and yes, even my own writing projects I'm trying to get off the ground, for whatever that venture is worth.

We'd gotten to the point once that y'all were self-regulating pretty well. And then I had the change in employment, and poof and the better part of this last year, things have shifted quite a bit, and the speed it runs at? It is damnably hard to babysit. I used to read every single page within 8-12 hours at most. Can't keep that up.

Self-regulation is kind of the goal, really. It's not as though y'all aren't capable. A good many have no problems at all on a regular basis. Some even try to regularly encourage others to behave well. Others ... well, others seem to think it's all good no matter what they do, and regardless of reminders, taps, etc, it just hasn't sunken in.

All the same let's not turn this into player-bashing, folks. Really, let's not.

Given i generally behave myself and fairly Polite i do tend to agree.

There are much more pressing concerns such as Spam, Trolls and etc.
