The "cool" thing for most kids nowadays is to be a mindless conformist.

I am a socialist, and, although this pisses off other kids' conservative parents, it does nothing to make me cool, and instead makes them shun me for even being somewhat interested in politics. Only cool rebels nowadays are the ones who conform. So, no cool people are rebels now.

I don't like it.

It doesn't take time at all. Let me get you past the complex text and religious metaphors.

Breathe in, breathe out. Breathe in, breathe out. Concentrate solely on what you're doing, nothing else. Literally nothing else. This is much more difficult than it seems. Be in as comfortable of a position as you can while doing this. Completely empty your mind, and at a certain point stop concentrating on your breathing and let it happen naturally. You probably will only be able to have a blank mind for ten seconds at the most, since even after years of practice I can only manage four to seven minutes. But it's very relaxing.

1)Many public roads are shit, many aren't but it depends on where you're at. And either way you look at it the total infrastructure in the us is shit and needs work. Which the govt won't pay for.
