No he's right. If done then they wouldn't have focused so much on special effects and focused more on story.

Exactly. They have been trying to make an Indy 4 since right after the Last Crusade. And I remember reading an article years ago about how Spielberg said Indy 4 hasn't been made because they couldn't get a good enough script together, and how Harrison Ford was done with the franchise, and only wanted to do another if he thought the script was good enough.

And i bet you money if they gave him the same script 10 years prior to the film being made, he would have said hell no. But since Ford hasn't been in anything relevant since Clear and Presesnt Danger, so of course he would jump at any shitty script to get back on the big screen and be hyped again.

I'm not going to defend it. It's far from the worst movie ever made, though... and I can't realistically say it should never have been made.

Harrison Ford? He's only ever been 'decent' in one movie (Blade Runner), and he hates it.

The guy is apparently allergic to being good. (You can scientifically verify this by seeing how putting Harrison Ford into movies with actors that are normally good (like Gary Oldman) turns them shit. He's like an anti-actor.)

Harrison Ford was good in the original Star Wars trilogy and the old Indy films. He was also good in that movie where he got shot in the head at a convenience store (forgot the name), as well as that one where he spent some time in Amish country (also forgot the name).

What Lies Beneath. Pretty decent flick. As far as I know, it's the only film where Harrison Ford is actually the killer/bad guy.
