Yeah but they kinda have to do it. Heinlein was pretty vague about most of the tech in the book. But this much is clear: They are tool users, not the silly insects from the movies.

Meh. It was okay. It didn't really saying anything anyone did know (unless you don't listen to NPR). And although I like Al Gore, I didn't like his whole doomsday approach to the film.

I might like more subtlety, but we're talking about subject matter where evidence is rebutted by ideology. You can forgive a certain amount of aggressive technique.
