Yeah but they kinda have to do it. Heinlein was pretty vague about most of the tech in the book. But this much is clear: They are tool users, not the silly insects from the movies.

Meh. It was okay. It didn't really saying anything anyone did know (unless you don't listen to NPR). And although I like Al Gore, I didn't like his whole doomsday approach to the film.

I would have liked the film a whole lot more if it didn't take such an agressive approach.

It seems to fit more for 2012. They didn't need a doomsday approach.

That was my thought. The same for the asteroid/comet movies from a few years ago, or "The Day After Tomorrow." Comic books, not great literature.
