Zeno encounters a high ranking policeman. We go on a walk, through the golden lit woods near the shore of a lake, and we end up in a long set of trenches. When in these trenches it's like a never ending hallway on either side. It keeps going like that, and eventually we start talking to each other on our way to where ever it is we're going.
We go from empty trench to empty trench by going through these old wooden gates held shut by metal hooks at the top. The sky begins to turn gray, and it gets really cloudy and a bit windy out too. Than, the policeman looks down at Zeno and before stopping at the final gate, he says,"When you've made your choice, come tell me, okay?"
Than he unhooks the gate and pushes it open... "Good luck."
Zeno walks through the gate as it disappears behind Zeno. It's dark out, night time. Fires everywhere, people running around all confused and scared... There's tents propped up here and there. There's people in them too, so, Zeno runs franticly towards them, seeking shelter. As Zeno enters the tent, Zeno sees a young man on his hands and knees with bullet holes in his shoulders that are literally pouring blood out if him. Zeno scrambles to the back of the tent, right in front of the man. He's scared, helpless, and reaching out for Zeno. Zeno cant react fast enough though. His helmet flies off to the side, and his head explodes into a red cloud.
Zeno than stares at him, than falls to the ground... Than the dream ends.

Every time... had this nightmare several times now this year, still can't help that guy.

Zeno meets the old white policeman with a navy blue hat and navy blue pants with a very light blue top....Being lead through what looks to be trenches... Man pats Zeno on the back... he opens several gates on the way.... all held shut by hooks at the top of their doorframes....
We go through them until we reach one on the left of the mile-long trench... He opens it, says good luck.... guides Zeno in... than says, "When you make your choice, you come tell me, okay?"

It's dark... fire everywhere... there's a small tent nearby with people in it... everyones screaming... Zeno runs frantically towards the tent... Crawls into it... There's a guy there, begging for help.. bleeding everywhere... He wont put his arm down... he's gone, helmet went flying to the left.... red puff...

Sounds like a manifestation of something in your life. Something that you regretted doing. One temporary fix that you can do is to stop being paranoid, this will decreases the stress. Course, you can solve all of this by just going to the source of the problem, by rethinking what traumatic event it was.

Dreams that are complex and elaborate are based on past events. Try to remember what it connects to. If not, another way to circumvent this is to learn how to do lucid dreaming; keep remembering that it's not real.

Hope you feel better. I have a shitty week too, so we're all in this together.
