Sure is. It is refreshing to know that someone in a distant part of the World is suffering while I'm living in excess. It makes my living conditions seem that much better.

I would be a very malevolent god. I would make sure to spread plagues (I am talking a black plague every 300 years or so), famine (massive droughts every other year), natural disasters (floods, hurricanes, meteors), and if possible (free will and all that) war (a world war every 50 years). In the end though, I think I would appear as more of a strict father. Sure my terrible plagues, famines, disasters, and wars would have killed billions (yes billions) of people, but in the end it would make humanity tougher.

lets see... as God, I would first terraform Mars. make it habitable in 5 days... the sixth day, of course is the creation of man... do it slow enough that the world would take notice, but fast enough that they cannot deny some superior being is causing this to happen. then I would move all the faithful (true faithful, not those who are just expounding on 'my' word but those who are truly following my word) to Mars. then I'll let them all try to figure out who got the better end of the deal.
