Hot/Cold chocolate of sorts but from Australia, and super popular in SE Asia.

Also from TVTropes: Australian-made chocolate energy drink Milo is practically a national icon in Malaysia, and is also popular in the rest of Southeast Asia, especially the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand, and also popular in South American countries such as Chile and Peru.

I won't call it a healthy drink of sorts as they claim it to be. I mean, relatively healthy if you take out sugar (for example), yes, but as much as I love them, I would not drink barrels of it!

I find that the best way to take milo is to pour the milo mix into a cup with no milk or water, grab a spoon, and start munching.

Unironically did that in my army days for both Milo and for some energy drink powders. Just eat it straight from the packet because at that point, I don't want to bother with formalities like boiling water in the field.

But again that was in the field. In the barracks and in the army camp... Ehh, once again it's a gamble of what you'll get. Sometimes you get lucky, other times... Just colored water lol.

MREs were labeled, but the reality of them can still left you wondering sometimes.
My stepdad joked about the old C-rats, like how everything seemed to be labeled "component".
Made sense, since many of them looked like something engineered for use on, or in an engine.

It's fine depending on the calorie intake. That's basically just intermittent fasting.

When operating under water restriction, it is common to see guys pack it around their gums like tobacco.
I never needed it that bad.

Kippers are pretty good. And scrambled egg with smoked salmon.

I also sometimes make sashimi for myself.

When I was a child and we visited my grandparents, my grandma would serve us a thick fish broth plus fruits and toast for breakfast. Iirc, she used cod sometimes, and sometimes she’d use grouper.
