Curious how all those young people who don't pay back their student loans aren't "mentally incompetent"...

Imagine if going into any debt were tantamount to felony disenfranchisement.

Also, I believe that suicide should be fully decriminalised and legalised, and that nobody should be coerced to live. Therefore, "suicidality" should not be a reason to ban someone from buying a gun.

Would that not somewhat influence others to kill themselves?

Don’t think people really give a shit about the law if they’re at the point that they’re trying to kill themselves.

Well it is a "newsweek" article so of course they are going to lie and try to pretend they are a reliable news org.
The issue is this. Is a veteran who employs the use of a fiduciary "mentally incompetent"? The obvious answer is NO of course.

Speaking of disabilities. Did y'all catch the batfe(arbf) clownshow interview on "disgrace of the nation"?
The acting chief of the batfe(arbf) firearms ammunition technology division couldn't disassemble a Glock pistol on camera during a scaremonger session about the evils of "ghost gun" parts and retard steven dettelbach calls every mag a clip even after his very own tech chief 30 sec. before hand correctly used the term magazine.
Then the dir. goes off on a tangent about auto-sears and ties that in with "bump stocks" eh. bump stock does not equal an auto sear, the two are completely different.

I figured out how to remove and reinstall a Glock's slide without any reference material.

S. Carolina passes their constitutional carry and already in effect after it was signed into law, making it now 29 states.
Constitutional Carry Now in Effect in SC After Governor Signs Bill

Georgia is kicking a bill around that would hold places liable for injuries in declared gun free zones.
Georgia Bill Would Make Property Owners Liable for Injuries in 'Gun-Free Zones'
A Georgia lawmaker says private property owners should be able to prohibit firearms from their premises if they want, but believes that if they do so they should be held responsible for any harm that might befall a lawful gun owner who was disarmed by the policy.

Under HB 1364, introduced by Rep. Martin Momtahan, property owners who forbid lawful concealed carry would assume responsibility for the safety of their customers, which means they would be liable for any injuries suffered if they are unable to protect themselves on the premises.

I'm in agreement with said proposal, IMO, a place declaring it to be a gun free zone takes on the responsibility of protection.

Wyoming senate revived a bill that will repeal most gun free zones in the state.

This is good. It has always been bizarre to me how liability in gin free zones is treated differently from any other hazard in a public place.

Not sure if anyone has posted this yet, but apparently the Dems are proposing another Poll Tax for people in Colorado to exercise their 2nd Amendment Rights. Ca's the only other state that has a similar law in place, but it is currently buried in appeals and very likely to be overturned in the future for being unconstitutional as all fuck.

Yet another reason why I believe politicians who knowingly propose unconstitutional bullshit such as this should be made a public example of for others to see by getting dragged out of their respective offices forcibly and tossed on their rear ends.

*Edit*

Also, just ran across this little gem out of New York. I know some here are far more law savvy then myself, so could anyone explain to me how this isn't a violation of the 4th by having National Guard conduct warrantless random searches as well as the the Posse Comitatus Act as they will be acting in a Law Enforcement Capacity as well? Asking here as apparently this was done in response to a high profile gang shooting that occurred at the Bronx station earlier.

The Posse Comitatus act only restricts federal-controlled militaries. If the guard was federalised, it would apply. However, the NY National Guard is under the governor's control.

A federal dist. judge in cali, tossed the state's one gun a month law
FPC WIN: Federal Judge Strikes Down California’s “One-Gun-A-Month” Firearm Purchase Law
SAN DIEGO (March 11, 2024) – Today, Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC) announced that the District Court for the Southern District of California has struck down the state’s ban on purchasing more than one handgun or semiautomatic, centerfire rifle in a 30-day period. The Opinion in Nguyen v. Bonta can be viewed at FPCLegal.org.

“Defendants have not met their burden of producing a ‘well-established and representative historical analogue’ to the [one-gun-a-month] law,” reads the Court’s Opinion. “The Court therefore concludes that Plaintiffs are entitled to summary judgment as to the constitutionality of the [one-gun-a-month] law under the Second Amendment.”

So the shithole city, chiraq is suing Glock because of "Glock switches" and somehow the use of these devices is Glock's fault and Glock sucks because they haven't done anything to prevent the usage of such devices on their products.
In response to such a frivolous lawsuit, Glock should; immediately suspend all sales of their gear, refuse to service any of their products that was purchased by the city govt, cancel any and all contracts, etc. Basically what Ronnie Barrett did in cali.

On that note. The clinton era EO, just got shit-canned by legislative law and our window-lickin' prez signed it into law. GOA led the effort to get the language included.
So no more stripping vets of their enumerated 2nd Amendment right all because of the use of fiduciary. However, a 150 or so democrats on the hill, have already sent a letter to the secretary of the VA to basically ignore the law and cook up some kangaroo court type shit to still strip the vets of their rights.
Kinda interesting that this shit has been kicking around since the late 70's, with cliton issuing an EO that started the whole thing.

I wonder if there is some sort of reduced price agreement then? Glock could pull that. Or just do what AL suggested. Punish the whole state govt, a' la barrett style.

Even better, let the local gun stores boycott sales to Chicago officers.

Gonna be real funny when they have to go to Indiana to buy a sidearm.
