I wouldn't put it past them to go without an invite.

I send my thoughts and prayers to her family during this time, and to the Queen herself.

Plenty of leaders from the 20th century are still alive.

The seriousness of the present situation didn't strike me until I started getting calls from family members about it (everyone in the family knows how I feel about the Queen, as I imagine most of NationStates does by now). Since then I've been keeping a close eye on the news. It's a scenario that we have all known was coming, but it still feels surreal. I am praying for Her Majesty and am grateful to everyone else in the UK, the commonwealth realms and abroad who is doing the same.

Except for that thread about the assassination of Soleimani in which hundreds of gleeful celebration posts and tasteless jokes did not even get one single loom. But I don't want to derail things. I'll just head back to the index now and see if Infected Mushroom has a new hypothetical.

Ask the reaper.
I feel a bit sorry for miss Truss though. All the news updates of the past few hours included the images of her meeting with the queen. If the queen dies, that image will probably be attached to her forever.
