That's just what a CIA asset would say...

I’m not mad about her not being a leftist, I’m mad at the association of her with leftists. She’s not a leftist and id wish everyone would stop associating her with leftists and Id like everyone to realize that she has no morals other than trying to be a senator

I guess she could try to primary one of the current Senators. Seems kinda unlikely though.

The Andorian System wrote:There was a time when I thought I was supposed to get whatever I want whenever I wanted it. My attitude could have been expressed by the lyrics of “I Want it All,” a song by Queen. Here are some lyrics from that song:
I'm a man with a one track mind.
So much to do in one life time.
Not a man for compromise,
And where's and why's and living lies
So I'm living it all. Yes I'm living it all.
And I'm giving it all. And I'm giving it all.
It ain't much I'm asking, if you want the truth.
Here's to the future, hear the cry of youth.
I want it all.
I want it all.
I want it all,
And I want it now,
Now, I have no problem with listening to the occasional Queen song, but if Freddy Mercury actually lived his life this way, he would have been incredibly immature.
I used to think the same way the ideological purists on the left think. That attitude ended the moment I decided that the world didn't revolve around me. That attitude ended when I threw away childish things.
This is why I referred to the ideological purists on the left as “The Uber-left Freddy Mercury Crowd.” They seem to think that they should get everything they want whenever they want it. While those sentiments make a good song, they aren’t a prescription for how an adult should live their life.
In hindsight, I wish to make an apology... to the family of Freddy Mercury. I shouldn’t have associated his name and legacy to the childish attitudes of morally repugnant, whiny ideological purists who criticize Alexandria Ocazio-Cortez and any other politician who fails their unrealistic purity tests. In the future, I will be more careful with my words.
Peace!

A group of Democratic operatives plans to turn political memorabilia and photos into NFTs, looking to raise money by minting — and then selling — digital assets beyond the sports and entertainment arenas. With both conservative and liberal groups already spending millions to pressure lawmakers over President Biden's social safety net expansion, Democrats are looking to tap into non-fungible tokens to outraise their opponents.
On Monday, a new group, Front Row, will launch a political NFT marketplace — and only allow Democratic campaigns and causes to use it. The first NFTs for sale will be digital collectibles from the Texas Democratic Party. For example, for $250, a political activist can purchase a digital "Wanted" poster, with animation, of different Texas lawmakers who fled the state this year in a failed effort to block its new restrictive voting law.[...] A political organization or campaign will create an NFT, establish the number of tokens and then set the price.
Buyers will purchase the NFT through the Front Row website, much like a traditional donor would donate to a campaign through the Act Blue website. The donor — or more accurately, the purchaser — would then own the NFT. The proceeds will go to the campaign, with Front Row taking a transaction fee. The sales will have to conform to campaign finance laws. Federal candidates will be limited to selling NFTs for $5,800 — the maximum per-cycle contribution — while PACs and party committees can up their prices accordingly.
