He's just another tool used by the corporate elite trying to come off as a "moderate" and a "return to normal" presidency.

Let me elaborate; Biden is an awl.

And your answer of "if it's so simple why doesn't the government just do it" is any better?

Because you and others seem to have no understand of how anything works and would rather no one compromise and just stick to their corners and if nothing gets done oh well.

So you would rather that no one compromise and if a relief bill or anything else couldn't be passed oh well? Better people stick to their corners?

In SpeechNow.org v. Federal Election Commission, a federal court found restrictions on individual contributions to independent organizations that seek to influence elections to be unconstitutional. And in Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission, the U.S. Supreme Court decided that limits on corporate and union spending to influence elections were also unconstitutional.

Progressives disagree with these rulings.

I think they are terrible rulings to but that doesnt mean every in office is in the pocket of corporations and lobbyists. The term lobbyist is also used as a blanket term. I bet their are groups or interests people here support and I guarantee they have lobbyists.

I mean yeah? Were already barreling full speed towards a total climate disaster along with a thousand other problems so I don´t see why we should really care about ¨compromise."

I'd rather people take actual action against the corrupt and crony politicians and sack their corporatist buddies.

In terms of the relief bill, you can pass it through budget reconciliation with 51 votes. You literally don't have to compromise. Unless, of course, the people who you think are on your side actually aren't.

I support getting money out of politics, that certainly doesn't have lobbyists.

This is exactly why we need a proper multiparty system
