Well you also said that Canada and Texas were suing the US government and I have yet to find a source on that...

So who are they and who said they can't interact on duty?

Well why would you repeat such a wrong statement?
Surely you should have stipulated in your original comment that "some socialist have said they are", but you didn't, and that's there are a few people correcting you now.

the Nordic Countries do have a perfect example of a mixed-market economy though.

I’ve heard Norway called capitalist, I’ve heard it called socialist, I’ve heard it called mixed.

Better examples of Marxist countries are Cuba, Soviet Russia (obviously), and North Korea.
Then again, it was argued against me a few weeks here that none of those countries are even close to Marxist.

IIRC, Cuba, Vietnam, and Laos, are the remaining few.

Even then, Both Laos and Vietnam have become more State Capitalist, following China's example in recent years.

It sounds right to me. Unless the doctor outranked the marine, and even then they'd probably have to issue an order to shake hands.

Suffice to say, when Americans say "socialism" they refer to mixed-economic principles, where countries have strong worker's rights, universal healthcare, welfare, and social policies.

Well, as I said, American it can be argued has socialist policies. Welfare, SNAP, and state paid college tuition (well at least for me because I was unemployed at the time and went to a junior college). Many would say that these are socialist, a professor at my college called those “gimme’ programs”.

I said Marxist but when I think modern Norway or Sweden I think DS, which it is argued by some is Marxism. When someone actually says the term Marxist I think Soviet Russia, Cuba, Laos, and now formerly NK. (Though Juche it says is relatable to Marxism-Leninism.)

It's time you moved on from whatever a barking-mad libertarian Professor told you. Using a slang insult towards something he/she doesn't agree with ideologically, is the kind of hackery which does not deserve an academic title.

Welfare is not socialism, and if you keep pretending it is, you will continue to fail to make any worthwhile points about either.

I said Marxist but when I think modern Norway or Sweden I think DS, which it is argued by some is Marxism.

Not by anyone with an ounce of sense. Schools of thought which voluntarily adopt different names, are generally different from each other.

When someone actually says the term Marxist I think Soviet Russia, Cuba, Laos, and now formerly NK.

They didn't even call themselves Marxist. Perhaps because Lenin (for one) actually read Marx.

Back in the day a couple Republican senators publicly confirmed they would not move forward with any Supreme Court nominees if it was too close to another presidential election. Elections have consequences. McConnell is not majority leader, Schumer is. A majority of one is a majority. And what goes around, comes around.
"The violence of American law enforcement degrades the lives of countless people, especially poor Black people, through its peculiar appetite for their death." | "There are but two parties now: traitors and patriots. And I want hereafter to be ranked with the latter and, I trust, the stronger party." -- Ulysses S. Grant, 1861 | "You don't get mulligans in insurrection." | "Today's Republican Party is America's and the world's largest white supremacist organization." | "I didn't vote to overturn an election, and I will not be lectured by people who did about partisanship." -- Rep. Gerry Connolly |"Republicans...have transformed...to a fascist party engaged in a takeover of the United States of America."

I find it both hilarious and saddening at the same time that there are people who still think welfare is socialism, when it was first implemented by an ultra-right wing monarchist to stomp out the influence of socialist parties, and Marx criticized this early form of social democracy in his Critique of the Gotha Program as "revisionist" and "ineffective".

I've read a lot of your stuff. Sometimes I even agree. "Limited interaction" would likely be because I bear a grudge for you reporting me (for something not even involving you) so I've held off replying until you're really blatantly in the wrong. Which today you were.

This exchange is over, OK, providing you can muster the willpower to let me have the last word.
