Depends on the situation. The president is responsible for some affairs like wars but not for dealing with a virus we can't even see with the naked eye. I give Trump a mark against him for not offering words of comfort and not encouraging people to social distance and wash hands and be cautious (as was initially done in Sweden before they decided to also take away civil liberties due to unfair pressure).

If I were leader I would have followed Sweden's initial approach along with trying hard to create a national health care system and at least offer free treatment for the virus. Even the PRC, known for a corrupt and expensive health care system (although not as bad as the US system), offered free medical care for the virus. It is sad that the PRC (a nation known to not care much about its people) took better care of virus patients than the USA.

I guess we have to blame Trump for failing to do these things and I wonder if Biden will offer free treatment for virus patients now that he is in office and can now freely ignore the needs of the people in favor of the needs of corporations (at least until the next election comes up).

President Trump has issued a full pardon to Albert Pirro, Jr, Fox News' Jeanine Pirro's ex-husband.

Guess he remembered a promise he had forgotten, since he wasn't on the previous list.

Also shows that he's not gone until he's gone in 25 minutes.

Maybe he did not go because he feels Biden was wrong to vote for the Iraq War (but is too blinded by his love for the party to dare say this openly). Carter is a man of peace. The pandemic gives him the perfect excuse not to go. He might have skipped anyways.
